"Stark clearly left Earth with that scumbag sorcerer, but now only one of him has returned. Could Stark have gotten lost in space?"

The thought of this possibility gave Nick Fury a headache, as the Avengers' overall strength was already weak.

If we lose Stark, this super genius, many research projects will be unable to proceed.

With things as they were, Nick Fury instructed, "Agent Romanoff, keep a close eye on Pepper Potts. I believe Stark will show up sooner or later."

Natasha nodded, looking hesitant and as if she wanted to say something but couldn't.

Natasha raised an eyebrow and explained in an odd tone, "Uh... Mrs. Pepper Potts is pregnant."

Nick Fury's expression froze for a moment. "Isn't this a good thing? It seems Stark has a successor."

Natasha's expression was strange: "But the pregnancy is only two months along."

"Wardfa?" Nick Fury was stunned.

What the hell?

What does it mean to be two months pregnant?

He lowered his voice and asked, "Whose child is it? Did Pepper Potts cheat on me?"

Natasha replied, "An investigation revealed that Lieutenant Colonel Roddy has been frequently visiting Tony Stark's Los Angeles mansion these past few months, so..."

She didn't continue speaking.

But following this logic, Nick Fury felt the world had truly gone mad!

"Fuck, keep the news under wraps! Send the best gynecologist to her house and make Pepper Potts have a miscarriage. We absolutely cannot let this scandal get out!"

Natasha looked helpless: "Lieutenant Colonel Roddy frequents the Los Angeles mansion, and I think this is very likely something Stark tacitly approved."

“If we abort Pepper Potts’ child, who knows if Stark will object when he comes back.”

Nick Fury's face stiffened. "Do you know what you're saying?"

"Do you think Stark deliberately shared this with his friend, Lieutenant Colonel Roddy..."

He stopped midway through his sentence.

This chaotic relationship might actually be something Stark permitted.

After all, how could someone as smart as Stark not know that his girlfriend was having an affair with his best friend?

If Pepper Potts' child were to be aborted, not to mention whether Pepper would agree, it would be difficult to get past Lieutenant Colonel Roddy.

“Fuck...this is a real pain in the ass,” Nick Fury grumbled.

After Natasha left, only a bewildered Nick Fury remained in the office.

The news of Pepper Potts' pregnancy is truly unbelievable; Stark has played too many tricks.

The more Black Egg thought about it, the more troublesome it seemed. How did this mess come up to him?

"Dong dong!"

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Coulson walked into the office looking tired.

"Sir, Project Fireseed can be completed. The last space carrier is about to launch."

Nick Fury nodded, stood up, and took one last look at his familiar office.

Only the last group of personnel remained at the Avengers headquarters. After all these people had left...

I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to come back to this office.

"Let's go, Coulson. Have you made arrangements for your family?"

As Black Egg walked out of the office, he chatted with Coulson.

"Of course, the last batch of personnel has almost finished boarding the ship, and we are the only ones left."

Coulson followed closely behind, leaving the office. The two of them led a group of remaining agents aboard Quinjet fighters and flew towards the space carrier.

They have more mid-range combat power than Hydra.

After all, the Defenders, the X-Men, and the Brotherhood of Mutants, whose stance is unclear, are all highly skilled.

That's why they were able to fight Hydra for almost half a year despite being weaker overall.

However, the Avengers' high-end combat power and basic infrastructure are no match for Hydra. If there are no unexpected changes, this war concerning the fate of humanity is likely to be lost.

Tony Stark, who had been missing for six months, returned with a bunch of alien technology.

Upon learning of Tony Stark's return, Nick Fury's gloomy mood quickly dissipated, and he immediately brought Stark back to the space base.

In the conference room.

Nick Fury, Coulson, and Dr. Banner were looking Tony Stark up and down.

Dr. Banner immediately noticed that Stark's silver-white armor was significantly more advanced than before.

"Tony, is this nanotechnology? You've developed a nanotech armor?"

Tony Stark seemed pleased to see an acquaintance, and in response to Banner's question, he casually replied:

"No, this is just a semi-finished nanotechnology product; it's not perfect yet. By the way, how is Little Chili doing?"

Coulson and Nick Fury exchanged a glance, both noticing the awkwardness in each other's eyes.

Coulson lowered his head silently and didn't say another word after exchanging a few polite words when he first entered the meeting room.

He was too ashamed to tell Tony the news of Pepper's "unexpected" pregnancy in person.

Hearing this, Tony Stark felt relieved and asked in surprise, "Why are you back at the space base? Didn't the headquarters move to the Avengers headquarters in New York after the catastrophe?"

Nick Fury gave Coulson a look, signaling him to introduce the major events of the past six months.

Tony Stark frowned and said seriously, "The entire Earth is almost taken over by Hydra. It seems I need to find someone to help me."

Nick Fury asked curiously, "Did you meet a lot of alien friends on your space trip?"

Tony Stark nodded and exclaimed, "Now I finally understand how backward Earth is."

"Like the Battle of New York three years ago, those Chitauri aliens were just a weak vassal civilization in the universe."

"Because the Chitauri, besides being numerous, have a serious weakness."

"Once the mothership is destroyed, the neural links of the Chitauri army will be forcibly severed."

"Back then, we destroyed the Chitauri's mothership with a nuclear bomb. It was by accident that we found the weakness, which is why we won the victory."

"But the Chitauri are merely the weakest civilization under Thanos's command. The infamous Dark Order, renowned throughout the universe, is the truly terrifying enemy!"

"However, during this cosmic journey, I made some good friends, pulled off a big heist, and we formed the Guardians of the Galaxy..."

Tony Stark recounted his experiences over the past six months, leaving Nick Fury and the others speechless.

This amazing experience really broadened their horizons.

Dr. Banner asked, "A few people probably won't be of much use. Can you find more people to help?"

Tony Stark thought for a moment and said, "My brothers are quite capable, but they are not very useful in large-scale wars."

"If we want to find more people, we can only issue a bounty and ask interstellar mercenaries for help."

"I happen to have a large sum of money, enough to hire a mercenary fleet. The technology of an advanced civilization will definitely crush Hydra."

Nick Fury said with some concern, "Interstellar mercenaries? If we rashly make contact with alien civilizations, I'm afraid Earth will be targeted by some advanced civilizations."

"Moreover, Hydra can create an endless number of Decepticon robots at any time. If it weren't for the nuclear deterrent, we would have been completely defeated long ago."

Are you sure interstellar mercenaries can defeat a Decepticon army?

"If we mess this up, the consequences would be unimaginable."

Tony Stark fell into deep thought; Black Egg's concerns were not without merit.

"As far as I know, the Cybertronians are considered one of the most advanced civilizations in the universe."
