"All petrified!"
Caught off guard, Snape froze like a sheet of iron before crashing to the ground.
"Stop hurting him!"
Lily angrily drew her wand, and James and Sirius immediately became alert, knowing the power of this red-haired little witch.
“Hey, Miss Evans, don’t force me to use a spell on you.”
James warned Lily seriously, but Lily didn't want to actually fight anyone, so she said, "Then break the spell on him right now!"
James sighed and turned to face Snape. If he had to choose between Lily and Snape as his opponent, he would definitely choose the latter.
James whispered the dispelling spell, then declared victory to Snape: "Go on, Snape. You're lucky, Lily saved you, you snot-nosed brat..."
However, how could Snape possibly let this go?
Snape was used to being bullied by four people working together.
This perfectly illustrates the cowardice of the four of them; they could only muster the courage to stand before him by forming a gang.
But he embarrassed himself in front of Lily, especially when he was hung upside down and his underwear was exposed, and he was ridiculed by the whole school.
This incident almost certainly sealed Snape's fate at Hogwarts, making him a new, ugly legend at the institution.
How can he face Lily now?
Or, how should he face his student life afterward?
He must get his revenge!
He never relied on anyone, not even Lily; he could handle everything on his own.
He doesn't need anyone's help, much less their sympathy.
Even if Lily were here, it would be the same!
"I don't need that smelly little mud-covered thing like her to help me!"
Upon hearing this, Lily blinked unconsciously.
She then coldly replied, "Fine, then I won't worry about you anymore. If I were you, I'd wash your shorts, you slug."
These words struck Snape like a thunderbolt, making him realize what he had just said.
He had said things like "mud-blooded" more than once, but he would never say such things to Lily.
If he had another choice, he would rather cut off his own tongue.
"Apologize to Evans, you slug!"
James, equally annoyed, pointed his wand at Snape, knowing just how malicious those words were.
As a result, James also got scolded by Lily: "I don't need you to force him to apologize to me, you're just as bad as him!"
James exclaimed in astonishment, "What are you talking about? I never said anything about you... You know what I mean."
"You mess up your hair just because you think it'll look cool to look like you just stepped off a flying broomstick!"
“Show off that stupid thief everywhere, walk around the corridors, and curse anyone who doesn’t like you, just because you can do that.”
"I'm really surprised that your broom can still land with such a big head on it."
You disgust me!
After saying that, Lily left without looking back.
Despite being scolded, James wasn't angry; he just felt bewildered.
After failing to call out to Lily, James turned to Sirius and asked, "What's wrong with her?"
James was trying to portray Lily as the problem, not himself, but Sirius could tell from his tense expression.
Lily had already broken his defenses by scolding his best friend.
So, when faced with his good brother who desperately needed comfort, Sirius didn't hesitate to stab James in the back again: "It's not hard to understand from what she said, I think she thinks you're a little arrogant, buddy."
"Good, good, good!"
James was now completely enraged. He turned to face Snape and used the Upside-Down Bell on the distraught Snape once again.
This made Snape float upside down, because he believed that Snape was the one who made him lose face in front of Lily.
"Who wants to see me strip this big slug of its underwear!"
What followed was a far more painful memory than the first time I was hung upside down.
So much so that Snape instinctively activated Occlumency to calm himself down and return to normal.
But those painful memories were like steel knives piercing his heart, causing it to stop abruptly, as if countless drops of blood were surging in his chest.
Especially when he took another look at the red-haired girl in front of him, Snape had no choice but to activate his Occlumency to the maximum extent, otherwise he might have had a complete breakdown right there.
"professor?"
Malfoy frowned, and Snape remained silent for ten seconds.
Didn't he just say that time was tight and the task was heavy? Why did he hesitate when facing Dolly?
Is it because Dolly is a girl?
No, Snape never considered these kinds of things...
Malfoy's address of "Professor" also roused Snape to action once more.
A few words were squeezed out from between his teeth, each syllable seemingly bursting forth with boundless fury.
This is the result of using a closed-off suppression of the brain that could fool Voldemort.
"Mudblood, mudblood."
Snape no longer concealed himself and loudly muttered those words.
Then, he strode down several steps and pounced on Malfoy like a bat, grabbing Malfoy's neck with his large hand.
"Draco Malfoy, say that word again in front of me."
43 Second Update: Who exactly are you?
Malfoy was completely terrified.
He didn't understand why Snape was attacking him.
That hand gripped his neck like an iron clamp, making it difficult for him to breathe. How could he possibly speak?
Even though he could speak, his mind was completely empty.
The Snape before him was so unfamiliar that he wondered if someone had switched him out.
"Aren't you going to tell me?"
Snape's eyes were bloodshot, and he looked at Malfoy as if he were looking at his younger self.
He wished he could slap the little beast in front of him hard and kill him instantly.
But Malfoy is not him after all, and the slap he gave to his past self cannot fall on the present Malfoy.
However, Malfoy should also learn a lesson.
"The Golden Bell Upside Down."
Just as James had done to him back then, Snape hung Malfoy upside down.
Malfoy was wearing trousers, so he was naturally not as embarrassed as he had been before.
But the 11-year-old Malfoy had none of the courage and aura of Snape back then, and screamed in fright.
"Professor, please forgive me! I'm sorry, I was wrong!"
“I will never say that word again, Professor, Godfather… Snape!”
Malfoy even called Snape's name in a distorted voice, but this did not stop Snape.
He swung his arms wildly up and down, making Malfoy in the air shake like a wine jug, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.
The little bit of candy he ate at noon was vomited up like syrup, blocking his mouth and nose and causing him to suffocate violently.
Only then did Snape manage to extinguish a little of the flame in his heart.
He let go, causing Malfoy to fall and land on Goyle and Crabbe, who were already dumbfounded.
The next second, a large handful of water splashed onto Malfoy's face, finally making the nearly suffocating Malfoy feel the presence of air.
But soon a chill swept over him, causing Malfoy to shiver uncontrollably.
But he was more afraid of the cold than the cold.
Looking at the man he thought was his support, he finally understood why his father was so secretive about him.
He used to be Voldemort's right-hand man!
"Draco Malfoy."
Snape spoke again in a sinister tone, his wand still pointing at Malfoy, never leaving his side for even a second.
"I'll give you one more chance to say that word."
"Let me see what kind of outstanding offspring the proud Malfoy family has raised."
"You know how to use the filthiest and most vulgar words to insult your classmate who is still clueless about magic. Do you intend to turn Hogwarts into a stinking Knockturn Alley?"
"I will also show your father what kind of shameless spoiled brat you are. I hope he won't be so angry that he drags you back to Hogwarts to stop embarrassing you."
Malfoy's body trembled like a leaf; fear was beyond description in his mind.
He just wanted to escape this place as soon as possible, find a place to fall asleep, and then wake up to find that it was all a nightmare.
As for revenge, he no longer thought about it for even a second, and even felt that Dolly was a jinx, and that he would definitely stay away from Dolly from now on.
"explain!!!"
Snape growled, startling Malfoy so much that he instinctively began to apologize, saying, "I'm sorry, Professor! I was wrong, Professor! Please forgive me, Professor!"
"Did I ask you to say this? Where did your courage to swear before go?"
