A strange impulse stirred within them, and Dolly instinctively kissed him.

The screams rang out again the next second, and Buckbeak swooped down, startling everyone, including Hagrid, into screaming.

It clearly realized that Dolly and Hermione wouldn't be easily left behind, so it unleashed its true nature and decided to teach Dolly and Hermione a lesson.

Dolly and Hermione screamed and slapped its body, which finally satisfied Buckbeak, causing it to pull up and glide again before slowly returning to its original flight posture.

When the two landed, Hermione's hair was standing on end, and Dolly had to use magic to fix it.

Even after returning to the ground, Hermione's face was still flushed with excitement, and she avoided looking at Dolly.

As for why... Dolly was also a little puzzled. They shouldn't have kissed just now, right?

Dolly didn't seem to feel anything.

However, what Dolly didn't know was that just a moment ago, Hermione also took the initiative to kiss Dolly. Although it was very close, it was different from the hugging and kissing interactions between the two in the dormitory.

Hermione didn't know what was wrong with her; she just knew that at that most dangerous and intense moment, she really wanted to do it.

If it were just doing this, it wouldn't be a big deal, since it's not like she hasn't done it before. The most crucial question is what would happen if Dolly found out she was doing this.

Hermione dared not think about it, much less face it.

"Alright, well done, you two!"

Hagrid excitedly led Buckbeak away, saying, "But I can't give you points, because I need to be prepared for someone else to try and copy you two. They don't have your abilities."

"Alright, who's next?"

Dolly and Hermione returned to the crowd, greeted by cheers, and Hermione's complexion returned to normal.

She didn't even mind Dolly hugging her from behind, resting her chin on her shoulder, and watching others train together.

From an angle where Dolly couldn't see, Hermione's hands, hidden under her long sleeves, were slowly sweating.

With Dolly and Hermione's example, all the students successfully passed Buckbeak's test. Of course, there were also students that Buckbeak disliked, such as the two fattest Hufflepuff kids, who were rejected by Buckbeak.

Ravenclaws are intelligent and wouldn't deliberately provoke such a ferocious beast, and Hufflepuffs are honest, good kids, even less likely to do so.

So the lesson was basically successful, the situation that Dolly was worried about did not occur, and there was no need for last-minute help.

After everyone had tried it, Hagrid brought out a large pile of chopped chicken and had everyone take turns feeding the beasts to strengthen their bond.

Dolly finally released Hermione and came to Hagrid's side. Hagrid, sensing the situation, asked, "So, Miss Dursley, what do you need me to do?"

Dolly waved to Buckbeak in the distance, who snorted dismissively, but still came over to Dolly amidst the girls' regretful sighs. His eyes curiously examined Dolly and Hagrid, as if asking what had happened.

"Hagrid, if I let you take action, you could easily subdue Buckbeak, right?"

"Of course, although they look dangerous, they're just cute little creatures..."

"Really? My little cutie."

Dolly sighed, took out her wand, pointed it at Buckbeak, and said, "Don't be nervous, how about I give you a chance to rebel and bully Hagrid?"

Buckbeak seemed to understand, and actually didn't move at all.

Dolly's spellcasting was hidden in her long sleeves, which fooled others, but Buckbeak, the Pegasus involved, couldn't be kept in the dark.

So Buckbeak wasn't as wary of Dolly and her wand anymore.

"Wait, what are you going to do?"

Before Hagrid could stop her, Dolly's spell had already been cast.

"Grow bigger quickly!"

Chapter 244 Four-Colored Collars

The next second, Buckbeak rapidly grew larger, eventually becoming as tall as Hagrid.

Everyone was stunned, including Dolly.

“Oh, I thought it would take several spells, or even Hermione’s help.”

Dolly felt something was strange. She hadn't invested any points in the "Grow Bigger" spell, so it was only at level 2, which she had trained herself, yet the effect was so good.

However, Dolly didn't pay too much attention to it. After all, everyone has some spells they are particularly good at, which involves some inexplicable magical talent, just like how Harry's Disarming Charm can go toe-to-toe with the Big Melon Charm.

"Okay, that's what I wanted to do."

Dolly put away her wand, looked up at Buckbeak who was staring at her in surprise, and said, "Actually, you have some complaints about Hagrid, don't you? You probably have three minutes to express your complaints."

Hagrid still didn't understand what was going on. Looking at Buckbeak, who was about the same height as him, he said confidently, "You've got it wrong, Dolly."

“I have been feeding Buckbeak and its pack with great care, doing things that no other zookeeper could do. They must be very grateful to me, so how could they possibly be dissatisfied?”

After saying that, Hagrid confidently reached out to pat Buckbeak on the head, but the next second Buckbeak grabbed Hagrid's hand and started wriggling.

It is a clever and magical creature that knows it can now settle scores and seek revenge.

Although Hagrid was right, he did not skimp on food for Buckbeak and the other hippogriffs, and even gave them some space and time to roam freely.

But as a proud magical creature, how could he not harbor resentment when Hagrid restricted his personal freedom?

Not to mention being pulled in to teach the young wizards.

Given its proud nature, at least half of the young wizards here wouldn't be qualified to ride it, but out of respect for Hagrid, Buckbeak gave them the opportunity to ride it, as long as they weren't particularly disliked by it.

This is not the most critical.

The most crucial point is that Hagrid has no sense of proportion!

It does enjoy being patted and having its face rubbed, but that applies to little wizards like Dolly; adults can tolerate it to some extent too.

But it would never like being slapped around by a half-giant with a hammer-like hand. Every time it tried to fight back, it would make Hagrid laugh, making Hagrid feel like it was playing with him.

If Buckbeak weren't outmatched, he would definitely have shown Hagrid what real fun was.

Now, its opportunity has arrived.

It raised its body high, becoming half a body length taller than Hagrid, and in the next second it pressed down on Hagrid, pinning him to the ground.

Then, as if a human were riding it, it straddled Hagrid's waist and kept tapping Hagrid's head and shoulders with its mouth, causing Hagrid to scream in terror.

However, Buckbeak usually plays with Hagrid in the same way, or rather, expresses its dissatisfaction in the same way. Why doesn't Hagrid find it cute now? Doesn't he think it's expressing affection?

Hermione was so frightened that she pulled out her wand to try to save them, and more young wizards tried to gather around.

However, Dolly stopped them, saying, "Hagrid is experimenting with the dangers of the hippogriff and reflecting on this lesson. Please don't disturb Professor Hagrid."

Hearing Dolly say that, the young wizards remembered their initial fear of this magical creature, and they all stopped in their tracks, looking at Hagrid with curiosity.

They were relieved to find that Hagrid was indeed not in danger and had not even bled.

Buckbeak didn't do anything too outrageous, after all, it was more grateful to Hagrid than annoyed with him, not to mention that it had the powerful little wizard Dolly by its side.

Dolly can make it bigger, and she can also make it smaller, Buckbeak knows this very well.

Three minutes later, Buckbeak shrank, and Hagrid realized his chance to retaliate had come. He roared angrily and turned around to try and grab Buckbeak.

As a result, Buckbeak flapped its wings and took flight, letting out a triumphant cry.

Enraged, Hagrid clenched his fist and waved it at the sky, shouting, "You're not getting dinner today, Buckbeak!"

After doing all that, he turned to look at Dolly, his eyes still filled with grievance and dissatisfaction.

This was his first lesson of the day, and Dolly had embarrassed him!

If Dolly doesn't give him a reasonable explanation, then his friendship with Dolly is over, and he'll definitely go to Harry and badmouth Dolly.

"Alright, Hagrid, can you answer my question now? Can you easily subdue Buckbeak?"

"Of course! But not the enlarged Buckbeak. It's so big and heavy, I'd definitely need some tricks to subdue it!"

Hermione then realized what was happening and said, "Do you know that we're not even as big as Buckbeak? What should we do if it goes berserk?"

"I'll stop it then!"

Hagrid grumbled unhappily, but Dolly said, "There's more than just Buckbeak here. Do you think you can fight off multiple magical creatures going berserk at the same time?"

"Suppose you're 20 meters away and giving a demonstration, and a student gets attacked. What would you do? Without a wand, could you react in time?"

Hagrid certainly had a wand, but that was a secret, and Dolly pretended not to know.

Hagrid finally understood what the two little witches were trying to say. If it weren't for what had happened before, he would have definitely answered that he could do it.

But now, looking at these wizards who were even shorter than Buckbeak, he seemed to be experiencing for the first time the difference in feeling that came with the size difference.

"I...I understand."

Hagrid muttered something under his breath, and Dolly didn't say anything more.

Hagrid isn't exactly an easy person to get along with. He suffered injustice in his youth, spent decades guarding the Forbidden Forest alone, and inherited his giant temper from his mother.

So Dolly was just doing her best; how much she could accomplish was up to her.

Dolly then comforted Hagrid for a few moments before leaving with the young wizards after class.

Next came the Magical Creatures classes in Gryffindor and Slytherin, and Dolly could only hope that Buckbeak would be alright.

After spending time together in this class, Dolly also developed a lot of goodwill towards Buckbeak.

At least its arrogant little temper gives Dolly a sense of conquering wild beasts.

Hermione, of course, disappeared from Dolly's side again, using a rather lame excuse.

She said she went to the restroom, and when she reappeared next to Dolly, although her clothes looked exactly the same, the exhaustion on her face didn't seem like she had only spent a few minutes in the bathroom.

Dolly didn't expose her and started the next class with Hermione.

Around noon, devastating news arrived: Malfoy had been attacked by Buckbeak once again.

Even his two henchmen were attacked this time because Hagrid had them grouped into teams of three, with the option that if someone failed, the person behind could use a spell to protect the person in front.

Meanwhile, Malfoy was accompanied by the two not-so-bright generals, Humphry and Hare. This team composition easily pushed Malfoy, who could have dodged the attack, under Buckbeak's hooves again.

Upon hearing this news, Dolly rolled her eyes.

It's not Hagrid's fault. He was at least half responsible for Malfoy's injury, because he made sarcastic remarks about the intelligent Buckbeak.

It looks like Buckbeak will have to face another trial, and Harry and the others will have to go and rescue him.

However, this also seems like a good opportunity...
