Although Dumbledore is British, as the current president of the International Confederation of Wizards, he still holds considerable influence within the French Ministry of Magic.

Unfortunately, it seems there are still people who intend to cause trouble for Dumbledore, so Dumbledore naturally has to show his less approachable side.

In England, Dumbledore was so restrained, even feigning ignorance, partly because his principle as headmaster was to treat students kindly.

On the other hand, he didn't want to provoke Fudge, the British Minister of Magic, whose mind wasn't particularly bright to begin with, and create politically sensitive news.

But things are different in France, where he can't run for Minister of Magic.

“I really don’t know, Mr. Dumbledore.”

The wizard, who was being stared at by Dumbledore, was almost in tears. All he could say was, "It was in its cage until I left work yesterday. It even ate two whole roast chickens. Nobody usually comes in here."

"Besides me, the only other person who can get in is... uh."

When Dumbledore saw that he, who had been talking non-stop, suddenly shut his mouth, he already knew what was going on.

However, Dumbledore still wanted the other party to tell the truth. Only in this way could he force the person who stole the dog to come forward. Otherwise, how could he find Dolly's beloved dog?

Dumbledore hasn't given up on finding the dog yet because he has a good friend, Newt Scamander, who is also the author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

He also cherishes animals more than his own safety and even his own life, and Dumbledore would give such a person enough respect.

Dolly, in particular, would be a sight Dumbledore would be very happy to see if she could gain a deeper understanding of love through raising pets.

Now, this big dog that Dumbledore had such high hopes for has actually been lost?

So Dumbledore said quietly, "Since you are unwilling to speak, I will have no choice but to meet with your minister in my capacity as president of the International Federation of Wizards."

"I hope the French Ministry of Magic can uphold the basic principle of returning lost property to its rightful owner and help my student find his dog."

Dumbledore's words contained no threat, but the wizard before him turned pale.

After all, as a member of the Ministry of Magic's bureaucratic system, it is a big mistake in itself to mishandle the situation and cause the problem to be reported.

Now Dumbledore is actually bringing the problem to the French Minister of Magic. It's just a dog, why does the Minister need to go looking for it himself?

The helpless staff member could only look left and right before whispering his judgment.

"Sir, perhaps you could go back to the site of that incident; it might still be in time."

Dumbledore realized something was wrong, but ultimately did not choose to go alone.

Instead, they completed the formalities first, bailed Dolly out, and then told Dolly about the situation.

As for why she did this, the answer is naturally because Dolly proved herself to be a person with stable interests, qualified to know and understand all of this, and rational enough to make decisions about her own actions.

After all, Dumbledore went alone and didn't know what to do for Dolly's dog.

Dolly, who was initially happy to finally be able to go home, immediately turned gloomy.

She simply couldn't understand what kind of thought process these people had that allowed them to dare to touch her dog.

Don't you know that if you hurt someone else's dog, you have to be prepared to pay the price with your life?

"Professor Dumbledore, have you retrieved my wand?"

Dumbledore handed the wand, which was in a wooden box, back to Dolly, and then said with an admiring look, "This is one of the finest wands I have ever seen."

"It's hard to imagine that it came from the hands of a beginner. I don't think even Mr. Ollivander has such skill."

After getting the wand, Dumbledore couldn't resist trying it out.

Although the wand resisted him very much, Dumbledore easily discovered the wand's secret and realized that it greatly enhanced Transfiguration.

Dumbledore wasn't surprised by the wand itself, after all, he had a much more powerful and outrageous wand.

Dumbledore was surprised that the wand was made by Dolly.

However, he did not point this out directly, because making wands is actually a rather sensitive matter that requires registration with the Ministry of Magic.

If left unchecked, wands not under the Ministry of Magic's control could flood the wizarding world, causing chaos.

Dumbledore didn't want to cause Dolly any trouble, because he knew Dolly had no intention of making a lot of wands to make money.

Although Dumbledore didn't say it, Dolly could tell that he clearly already knew the inside story.

Dolly didn't intend to hide anything from him, and simply said, "Maybe I was just lucky and got the best ingredients?"

Dolly wasn't entirely lying; she did select the best materials, but these materials were enhanced by herself.

As for Dolly's wand-making skills, she was well aware of her own limitations and knew she was far from Ollivander's level.

"Luck is also a kind of strength."

Dumbledore remarked that he saw even more secrets about Dolly, but this was no longer a reason for him to suspect that Dolly was connected to Voldemort.

His only worry now is how Dolly will mess up his plans.

Of course, Dumbledore could also choose not to involve Dolly.

However, Dolly wouldn't agree to what he didn't want to do, and even Dumbledore doesn't know what the final outcome will be.

"Alright, Professor Dumbledore, I'm ready."

"Hmm? You mean you're saying we should head back to England right now?"

Dumbledore was somewhat surprised. Did Dolly not care about her dog anymore?

"How is that possible!"

Dolly replied to Dumbledore in surprise, "Of course I'll go back and save my dog! How could I abandon my companion who's been through thick and thin with me?"

“Dumbledore, as my professor and the one who needs to protect me, you wouldn’t ignore my reasonable request, would you?”

"It's like your Phoenix Fox is about to be eaten; wouldn't you step in to stop it?"

Dumbledore had intended to try and persuade Dolly, but Dolly ended up bringing up Fawkes instead.

Dumbledore then asked in surprise, "Is this gray wolf really that magical?"

Dolly nodded solemnly and said, "Absolutely amazing, so amazing that it understands English better than most French people."

Dumbledore's lips twitched, and he almost lost his composure.

However, this reason was indeed impeccable, and he also wanted to see what kind of gray wolf understood English better than the Frenchman.

The two immediately locked onto their destination and began to move, naturally using Apparition.

Incidentally, every country's Ministry of Magic allows Apparitions to enter its offices; this is a feature designed to facilitate the commuting of Ministry staff, especially Aurors.

Of course, not all areas allow Apparition, unlike Hogwarts where Apparition is prohibited throughout the entire area to prevent criminals from infiltrating.

Dumbledore's Apparition was undoubtedly masterful.

So what's the difference between Master-level Apparition and Normal-level Apparition?

Apparition is extremely dangerous for ordinary people and must be used with great caution. In other words, it has a long wind-up time, and users may even experience dizziness after using it.

However, at Dumbledore's level, they can use Apparition directly in combat to dodge spells and attacks, using Apparition as a short-range teleport, and it even has almost no cooldown.

This is the difference between a master and an ordinary level.

Of course, there are very few people who possess the power to Apparition now, as the vast majority of them died tragically during the Wizarding Wars in Grindelwald's time.

This is also one of the reasons why the spellcasting skills of wizards in the magical world have declined so drastically. The best wizards died in wars before they could leave behind their legacy.

With Dumbledore leading her, Dolly naturally experienced no side effects and arrived near the ski resort from the previous day.

This made Dolly even more eager for the Apparition spell, so she said, "Professor, could you make an exception and teach me this spell?"

Dumbledore refused without hesitation, the answer being the same old one: the curse was too dangerous.

If it were a danger that Dumbledore could control, he might have taught him, but Apparition is different.

Even if he personally supervised her, Dolly's life could still be in danger, and he couldn't possibly do something like that.

Dolly sighed. She didn't have high expectations and could only make up her mind to find a solution herself.

However, now is not the time to consider this matter; we should focus on Snow's situation and position.

Although Dolly could not possibly kill all the thousands of people who killed his dog like the male protagonist did, Dolly's desire to protect her dog was genuine.

Especially yesterday, when Dolly was still in the snow cave, it was Snow who lured the Yeti away and bought them time.

In Dolly's view, she and Snow were already partners; at least Snow had truly risked his life for her, and for that reason alone, Dolly couldn't possibly ignore Snow.

Dolly then tiptoed and looked around, quickly spotting the ski resort. The scenery there was basically the same as yesterday.

As for Dolly, she was completely different from yesterday. Now, Dolly was fully armed and looked very warm.

Before Dolly could find her dog, two loud bangs rang out beside her, and two Aurors appeared next to Dolly and Dumbledore.

"Why are you here?"

Two young Aurors arrived, one of whom spoke fluent French and loudly warned Dolly and Dumbledore.

"This area has been designated a restricted zone by the French Ministry of Magic. Starting today, no unauthorized personnel are allowed to enter. You may leave now."

"If you try to force your way in, we have the right to cast a spell on you, and you will have to bear the consequences."

Seeing this, Dolly glanced at Dumbledore, as if asking, "Do you speak French?"

Dolly genuinely didn't know how, so she couldn't communicate with the wizard in front of her.

As for Dumbledore, he actually speaks French.

As a linguistic genius, Dumbledore could even learn goblin and mermaid languages, so learning French would not be difficult for him.

You know, Dumbledore traveled the world when he was young, so Dolly wouldn't be surprised if he could speak Chinese.

However, Dumbledore never said it, probably because the Chinese is just too difficult to pronounce.

To Dolly's surprise, Dumbledore first nodded, proving that he knew French.

He then shrugged, feigning ignorance of French, before speaking in fluent London accent: "Hello, I am Albus Percival Woolflick Bryan Dumbledore, and I hope to speak with your captain."

“You brought my student’s pet dog here. I expect you to tell me your purpose and guarantee the safety of my student’s pet dog. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee that I will not sue the French Ministry of Magic at the International Wizarding Federation.”

This string of London-accented English, especially the deliberately pronounced names, seemed to be intentionally provoking the two young Aurors.

They actually knew a little English, but they struggled to keep up when Dumbledore deliberately pronounced their full names.

Naturally, he grew increasingly angry as he listened, and deliberately made Dolly and Dumbledore repeat themselves in French.

Dolly finally understood that the two young French Aurors wanted to use this method to make Dolly and Dumbledore back down.

They might not know Dolly, but it's unlikely they don't know Dumbledore.
