Dolly's words implied that if Dumbledore couldn't deliver a convincing result this time, he would ultimately fail to gain Dolly's trust.

Dumbledore was still smiling, as if quite pleased with the outcome, and said, "Thank you for your trust, Miss Dursley."

"Then leave the rest to us."

"Please go back to the lounge with the lion cubs to rest. We still have work to do."

"We can't keep Mr. Malfoy waiting in the Forbidden Forest, can we?"

129 The Sweetness of Victory (3rd Update)

When Dumbledore said that, everyone realized that there was also a Malfoy.

The reason everyone wasn't nervous was because they felt that with Hagrid taking care of him, he was unlikely to get into any trouble.

But now that everyone knows there's a vicious Death Eater in the Forbidden Forest, it's uncertain whether Hagrid can protect Malfoy.

After all, in most people's eyes, Hagrid's wand had long been broken, and very few people knew that he could use magic.

Even Snape was vaguely uneasy.

He was Malfoy's godfather, although his care for Malfoy was more out of consideration for various interests.

But it was impossible for him to just watch Malfoy die, since Malfoy was somewhat to his liking.

Seeing that everyone's attention was no longer on her, Dolly didn't bother to continue the argument.

She lifted her skirt and gave a ladylike bow, bidding farewell to the crowd like an actor leaving the stage, saying, "Then I wish you all success in resolving the crisis at Hogwarts."

"I'm waiting in my dorm for good news from the professors."

After doing all this, Dolly began to clean up her dragonhide lasso and fairy silver shield, and used magic to clean the blood and dust off them.

Afterwards, she thoughtfully helped Hagrid restore his damaged house, and her superb restoration spells made Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick both want to give Dolly extra points.

At this point, the professors finally noticed the dilapidated state of Hagrid's cabin and realized just how intense the battle Dolly had referred to when she casually mentioned defeating the enemy truly was.

If Dolly hadn't defeated the troll six months earlier, the professors would have at least pressed her for details about the incident.

For now, however, they were simply marveling at the...powerful newcomer Ravenclaw had produced, and then prepared to divide up their tasks and enter the Forbidden Forest.

Dumbledore was on one team, while Professor Flitwick and Professor Sprout, who knew about herbs, were on the other.

Professor McGonagall will temporarily take the lead in providing support, and will join Snape's team to enter the Forbidden Forest after Snape returns.

As for Dolly and the others, the professors really couldn't care less about them anymore, and didn't even spare anyone to let the supervisors return to the lounge.

Although Dolly has no intention of causing any more trouble now, she just wants to go back to her dorm and get some sleep.

"Sister, are we just going back like this?"

When Harry saw Dolly actually walking back to the common room, he quickly asked her what was wrong. Dolly yawned and turned to look at him suspiciously, saying, "Aren't you going back to sleep? You want to help me find Malfoy?"

"When did your relationship become so good?"

Harry wanted to say something more, but seeing Dolly's tired appearance, he changed the subject and asked, "You saved me again, sister. You must be very tired, right?"

Dolly smiled with relief and sighed, "Yes, Harry."

“Ever since that Halloween party, I’ve been carrying a huge amount of pressure all by myself.”

"After all, I know who the murderer is, but neither you nor Dumbledore believe me."

Harry was taken aback, and a look of guilt crossed his face.

He tried to explain something, but Dolly raised her hand and said, "I don't blame you, Harry."

“Professor Snape hates you, and you hate him, there’s nothing you can do about it. Quirrell certainly doesn’t seem like a really bad person.”

"If we have to blame someone, we can only blame ourselves for getting caught up in a bigger situation. Unless we break this bigger situation, we will never be able to enjoy a leisurely and happy life."

Dolly shrugged and said, "But this year's mission is finally over, so things will probably be a bit easier for both of us from now on."

Dolly was thinking about the future.

There's a high probability that the locked room will be opened again next year, since Riddle's diary is still at Malfoy's house.

Even if Dolly knew the secret, she couldn't directly interfere with these events; she couldn't very well steal the diary from Malfoy's house.

As for why Lucius threw away Riddle's diary, it was actually an order given by Voldemort a long time ago, instructing Lucius to deliver the diary to Hogwarts.

Lucius was unaware that the diary was Voldemort's Horcrux. Voldemort only told Lucius that the diary was enchanted and could disrupt Hogwarts or even drive Dumbledore away.

Malfoy's first year at Hogwarts was a disaster because of Dolly's presence.

Not only did Lucius lose a large amount of Galleons, but he also caused Slytherin to lose over a hundred points by himself.

Malfoy wasn't attacked by the Slytherin students, clearly out of consideration for Lucius and Snape.

Lucius must have really hated or even loathed Dolly, but Dolly guessed that the person he hated most was probably Dumbledore.

As long as Dumbledore is still at Hogwarts, Lucius will not be able to completely control the entire Hogwarts.

On the contrary, once Dumbledore is expelled, Lucius, as the Hogwarts Board of Governors and the largest patron, could easily punish Dolly.

So, in order to get rid of Dumbledore and to deal with the dark magic items in his house, Lucius would still throw Riddle's diary into Hogwarts.

The only difference is whether or not he would put Riddle's diary into Ginny's bag.

As for the third year, the key to the events of that year was Ron's rat, Peter Pettigrew.

Dolly assessed her own strength and realized that if she ambushed it, she had a good chance of succeeding.

However, considering Dolly's experiences this year, if she directly intervenes in Peter Pettigrew's affairs, it will inevitably attract more attention and even dissatisfaction from Dumbledore once the news is exposed.

This made Dolly very hesitant about whether to take action against Peter Pettigrew now.

After all, before Peter Pettigrew was discovered, he was just a harmless mouse, and he couldn't possibly disgust Dolly. Ron could handle everything on his own.

On the other hand, if Dolly, under the pressure that Dumbledore might bring, were to deal with Peter Pettigrew in advance, but only if Dolly didn't want to kill him.

So it's highly likely that Peter Pettigrew will still be sent to Azkaban, and then he will escape from Azkaban and continue to help Voldemort resurrect.

After all, Azkaban was practically a backyard for the Death Eaters. Even the Dementors, the jailers of Azkaban, were Voldemort's fans. How could Voldemort's die-hard followers possibly be kept there?

What if Dolly were to kill Peter Pettigrew?

If the goal is to kill him, then the problem becomes much simpler.

All you need to do is turn this rat into a dead rat in a secluded place. The only person who will be sad is probably Ron, who can't find his pet rat.

But killing someone was still something that Dolly found hard to accept.

It's not just morally unacceptable, but also because killing in the Harry Potter world truly corrupts the spellcaster's soul.

Dolly doesn't want to bear everything alone, silently accepting the blame for murder, and risk having the truth discovered and being branded as the villain by the righteous wizards who don't understand her.

Perhaps the best approach is to use a clever trick.

Find a reason to force the rat to reveal its true form sometime in the future, and leave the rest of the problem to Snape and Dumbledore.

That way, Dolly wouldn't have to bear any pressure or responsibility, and could still do her best within the rules.

Although in the end, doing so was a return to the old ways, namely sending Peter Pettigrew to Azkaban.

Dolly walked along, lost in thought, as she and Harry and the others reached the crossroads where they would have to part ways.

She shook her head, deciding not to think about it too much for now; she could use the entire summer vacation to consider it anyway.

Dolly patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "Go back and get some rest, then prepare for your Quidditch match later."

"Chu Chang wants to defeat you when you're at your peak, so you'd better not disappoint him."

Harry stared wide-eyed in disbelief and said, "She actually wants to beat us?"

"I dare say she must have been having too many good dreams lately to have such a bold idea."

"Tell her for me that the final victory will belong to Gryffindor, and I will be the first to find the Golden Snitch."

Faced with Harry's boastful words, Dolly pinched Harry's cheek and said with a smile, "I look forward to the moment you crash and burn."

Then he turned and left, leaving the three little wizards with a dashing silhouette.

The three of them stared at Dolly for a long time without turning around, until a gust of cold wind blew by, and then Ron finally spoke up, saying, "Your sister was really cool just now!"

"I've never seen a fighting style like that before. It's like a legendary Valkyrie, using a plate... no, a shield to beat Quirrell to a pulp."

Ron had wanted to say this for a long time, but the situation just now didn't give him the chance to speak.

Neville, however, disagreed, saying, "But that also means it's dangerous, doesn't it? Harry's sister is our age."

"We can't even cast a complete spell properly."

Ron immediately became somewhat displeased and said, "Neville, don't always belittle others. We... at least we're not bad compared to our peers, are we?"

"Of course, I'm referring to spellcasting level here, not academic performance."

Since Hermione is no longer with us, Harry is now the best student among the new main trio.

Although it's somewhat counterintuitive, Harry's academic performance has always been quite good, at an above-average level, and he's particularly gifted in certain subjects.

However, in the original story, Harry had Hermione by his side, which completely overshadowed Harry's academic brilliance.

Overall, Harry is now at least a lower-tier version of Cho Chang. He's good at studying and Quidditch, and with his miraculous survival, he should at least be considered a rising star in school.

However, the first-year students were still young, and their mutual admiration and affection for each other didn't spark any real connection. Harry didn't even realize he was a star.

This is why Harry looks no different from any other freshman.

"My sister is really tired."

Harry wasn't as excited as Ron; he was reminiscing about what his sister had done over the past year.

Only now did he realize just how much pressure his sister had been under.

Perhaps his sister does possess extraordinary abilities that most people don't have, but she is ultimately the same age as him and should be enjoying a leisurely and happy life like other students.

It was his incompetence that made his sister bear so much alone.

"Alright, Harry, it's all over now, isn't it?"

"If you really want to help your sister, then work hard from now on."

"Anyway, right now I'm so sleepy I'm about to faint."
