Simply calling upon power with words may bring blessings, but the power one receives is not the greatest.

There are other ways to utilize these methods, not just through simple words, but also through rituals and venues.

Of course, perhaps it should be called a sacrifice.

Chapter Thirty-Six: The Temple

It's time to build a temple. We've sought so many blessings and strength from the gods; it's only right to give back.

This is the power I rely on to achieve victory, so of course I must cherish and protect it.

Maintaining a relationship with the gods is a matter of course.

However, the stone and wood needed to build the temple would probably be difficult to buy, so they would have to do it themselves.

We've already promised to give Matou Kariya a day off, so we can't just go back on our word and call him back to work.

Although if Matou Kariya knew, he would definitely agree immediately and be happy to do it.

Whether Matou Kariya is willing or not will not affect the essence of the matter, so let's try it ourselves.

With that thought in mind, Er Manshu left the Matou family mansion and arrived at the location of the Tohsaka family.

If Jiu wants to build a shrine, of course it cannot be built at the Matou family's residence.

④ The Tohsaka family residence was the place that Manju had planned to use to summon the Holy Grail. Building a temple here could also help deal with possible surprise attacks from enemies.

After all, there are only a few places where Zero can summon the Holy Grail, and Tohsaka is one of those places that can be attempted to seize.

Furthermore, once the Holy Grail is summoned, a true final battle will ensue.

③The blessings and power one can receive in the temple where sacrifices are performed are likely to be more abundant than in a normal state.

Although Manshu was not clear about the temple's layout, since he could rely on the power of the gods, he naturally did not need blueprints to build the temple.

Who else could draw a temple design that is more accurate than the blueprints bestowed by the gods themselves?

si“Amun-Ra, King of Kings. Image of Truth, Master of Thebes.”

I will build a temple for you, to display your greatness to the world. By your wisdom, and the name of your founder, I beseech you to bestow upon me the wisdom and knowledge of this temple.

This wasn't the first time we'd encountered each other; the abundant solar energy arrived swiftly without any delay.

The warm and gentle light flooded into Manshu's mind, forming the image and pattern of a building in his mind.

That is the temple that Ra prepared for himself. This temple is the universe he created, and when it is completed, the mystery of the Egyptian gods will cover it.

Having obtained the blueprints for the temple, the next step is to begin its construction.

This temple was built for the great god Ra, so it is perfectly justifiable to seek help from other gods.

This is not for personal desire, but to display the glory of the gods. Even Sekhmet should no longer show impatience.

"O Sekhmet, the god who shelters Upper Egypt, whose breath brings forth the desert, whose power is unmatched. May you bring building materials to the stretched temple, so that the pillars of the temple may stand tall."

The lioness leaped out from behind Manshu again. She circled Manshu three times and then licked his arm with her tongue.

"Goddess Sekhmet, is there anything you wish to say?"

Manju immediately crouched down, stroked the lioness's head, and asked affectionately, tracing her fur downwards.

Sekhmet, in his lioness form, merely nuzzled Manju, then raised his right arm and slashed the ground with his powerful claw.

The brick-paved ground crumbled like sand, the blocky bricks breaking into grains of sand under the palm of his hand.

"Were you not satisfied with the last battle?"

Manju asked immediately, but the lion shook its head, as if it had been thinking for a while, and stood on only its two hind legs, crossing its two front legs in front of it to form an X or a V.

"Is it because you lost last time?"

The lion nodded, then swung its forearms once more, displaying its power.

"I know, next time I'll definitely let you show off your powerful body again, let you do the judgment, and tear my enemies apart."

Hearing this, Sekhmet was finally satisfied. He happily spat out a small tongue of fire from his mouth, rubbed it against Manshu's leg a couple of times, and then leaped out, waving his claws and exhaling to create building materials.

This goddess didn't seem to be willing to admit defeat, because although Sekhmet was satisfied with the battle after being defeated by Saber, she was still unconvinced.

We must regain our footing and defeat Saber.

She is the fiercest hunter, the goddess of war, a deity named after strength; how could she possibly lose to a warrior? ②

Manju's magical power was at its peak at that moment, so she didn't mind making such a promise. Nine

At worst, we can just release Sekhmet to slaughter the Assassins; that shouldn't be a problem.

Although it might seem a bit of a charade, it probably satisfies this god's bloodlust.

Once Sekhmet had gradually begun to produce the stones for building the temple, Manjushri would then be able to invoke the power of another deity.

"O Ptah, creator of creation, you are the inventor of art, the great god of metallurgy and construction. Grant me the strength to erect the Temple of Ra, not only for Ra, but also for all the gods."

The god Ptah appeared here in human form, holding the scepter symbolizing life, stability, and omnipotence, and sent the arranged materials flying to the other side. ⑤

The exterior of the temple was quickly built, and then various runes and murals illustrating mythology appeared on the brickwork. 6

Images of Egyptian gods were painted on both sides of the temple, until the shrine appeared. (iv)

The statues of Amun and Ra appeared first, and Ptah also placed himself on it, but then another statue appeared on it, the face of which was clearly Manjushri.

"Ptah, have you recognized me as Pharaoh?"

Seeing this, Manshu dared not be careless and quickly asked.

Manju received no response, but watched as Ptah walked to the sacred pool of the temple and scooped up water from it with his scepter.

Then the god Ptah went to Manju's side and used the water to bathe and cleanse Manju.

After doing all this, Ptah grabbed Manju's arm and led him through the temple gates, all the way to the temple entrance.

Only then did the power of the gods begin to dissipate, and Ptah returned to the shrine in the temple.

Manju hesitated for a moment, then stepped into the temple and proceeded with the ritual as he had in mind.

Light the incense burner, open the shrine, and chant the verses of morning prayer, cleansing and changing clothes for yourself and the gods.

The statues in the shrine were made of gilded wood, which made them shine even in the dark temple.

As the dwelling place of the gods, the temple was naturally not to be known or seen by mortals, so it was well sealed off, but this also made the interior somewhat gloomy and dark, filled with a mysterious atmosphere.

After doing all this, Manju walked backward out of the temple. The moment Manju stepped out of the temple gate, the runes and murals on the temple seemed to come alive and emit light.

A rich, mysterious atmosphere permeated the temple, making one feel as if they had returned to the ancient Egyptian landscape where gods walked the earth.

The divine vessel in the temple shone brightly, exuding the aura of the sun and signifying the arrival of dawn.

The once gloomy and dark temple began to be filled with the radiance of Ra, and the temple became a complete abode of the gods, with the gods bestowing their mysteries upon it and granting it blessings.

Such a scene would be impossible to see in this era, and it would have been difficult to see even in ancient times.

But today everything has become a reality, and the ancient mystery has once again walked on the earth, bringing new blessings to Manjushri.

He could indeed claim to be the Pharaoh, with the god Ptah personally baptizing and purifying him, bringing his soul closer to the divine.

This was something that Set and Horus were supposed to do; they would cleanse the Pharaoh's soul before the temple.

This was probably a gift presented upon the completion of the temple, bestowing upon Manju the blessings of the Pharaoh, and ensuring the smooth completion of the temple's ceremonies.

Manju recited a hymn once more before formally withdrawing from the temple and returning to the Matou family.

Next, we should wait for Rider's arrival tomorrow, then bare his fangs and declare war on Saber and Archer.

Chapter 37 Expectations (Daily Update)

"Berserker built a temple on the site where the Tohsaka family originally lived?"

In the Einzbern family mansion, Kiritsugu Emiya looked at the images transmitted by the camera equipment carried by his familiar, somewhat puzzled.

"Berserker, as the pharaoh of Egypt, may have built temples related to his treasures. Besides the solar boat, he was constantly reciting the names and hymns of the Egyptian gods, which may be related to this matter."

Irisviel had a deep impression of Manjusaka. On the day of Manjusaka's duel with Gilgamesh, Manjusaka summoned several gods and recited an entire hymn.

Gilgamesh's Thousand Gates King's Jade was neutralized by this power, and was even able to launch a counterattack.

That shouldn't be the power of the Sunship, since the golden magic light of the Sunship is somewhat different from the power of Set and Osiris.

"In other words, this temple may have been used to enhance Berserker's Noble Phantasm."

Kiritsugu Emiya tapped his fingers on the table, intending to contact Kirei Kotomine.

After the last operation, Kirei Kotomine seemed to have vanished into thin air.

Kiritsugu Emiya's methods in the city failed to capture Kirei Kotomine's presence, and Kirei Kotomine never returned to the Church's headquarters.

Kiritsugu Emiya only knew that Kirei Kotomine seemed to be investigating something, but he also gradually found the location of Rider's master and servant, but he still couldn't find any trace of Kirei Kotomine.

The Assassins had been monitoring the Rider's residence for some time, and Kirei Kotomine probably already knew about it, but he hadn't revealed it.

qAssassin is such a convenient Servant; it would be great if I could summon Assassin myself.

Kiritsugu Emiya sometimes couldn't help but think this way. The rift between Kiritsugu Emiya and Saber was getting wider and wider, and their relationship was entirely maintained by Irisviel.

N: "Let's try to destroy that temple. I'll go make the preparations."

Kiritsugu Emiya was quick enough to get up and prepare weapons and explosives, then made a call to Kirei Kotomine.

"Kiritsugu? Oh, it's about that temple. That's not easy to resolve."

Kirei Shigenmine was standing by the window of a house, looking at the house across the street.

Judging from the surrounding traces, Kirei Kotomine must have lived here for at least two or three days.

Only after receiving a message from Kiritsugu Emiya did Er look away and sit down on a chair nearby.

(iv) "Archer told me that the place is shrouded in the mystery of the Egyptian gods, and ordinary methods cannot destroy that temple. At least the way you destroyed the Hyatt Hotel is not feasible. Apart from the gods themselves, only the Pharaoh is qualified to step into the temple of the gods."

Gilgamesh had long been aware of the power of the gods, and although they were not the same gods, they were enough to displease him.

3. "But Archer is willing to offer some help. Although he won't go to that temple, he can give you a Noble Phantasm that can destroy it. What do you think, Kiritsugu Emiya?"

On Kirei Kotomine's table lay a long spear that shimmered with a mysterious luster, its tip radiating a dangerous aura that inspired fear.

5. "So what are you planning to do? Berserker defeated Archer before. Are you planning to cause all of this to happen, only to suffer another defeat?"

Kiritsugu Emiya was not satisfied with such a small amount of support; he hoped that Kirei Kotomine could contribute more, or even better, take the task directly on Kirei.

"That temple isn't the most important thing. Defeating Berserker doesn't necessarily mean taking him down. To defeat a powerful enemy, shouldn't we aim for his weaknesses?"
