"But the villagers are unwilling to sell to me. Everyone says I'm a fox spirit, and even if I offer three or four times the price, no one will sell me anything!"

"No one wanted to accept me, and I often wasted money on paint and pranks in an attempt to get attention."

"I've basically eaten instant noodles and milk since I was a child. Whenever someone is willing to sell me some, I buy as much as I can, because I'm afraid they won't sell it to me next time. So I often end up not finishing them even when they expire."

"If the body doesn't get enough nutrition, it will naturally..."

Nagato felt a pang of pain in his heart seeing Naruto like this.

He knows everything.

Fortunately, he possessed the physique of the Uzumaki clan; otherwise, the situation would likely have been far worse.

"Is this how you treat the descendants of heroes?!"

Daido was furious

At first, he thought that Naruto in this world was ill-mannered and not mature at all.

I only found out now that they didn't even have a home!

Damn me!

"Naruto! Join our empire! Our world's Minato-sensei and his wife would definitely be happy to accept you!"

Naruto in this world isn't inherently bad; in fact, one could even say he's quite naive.

Daito was confident that Minato-sensei would train him well.

However, Naruto shook his head and refused.

"No! Everyone says I'm a demon fox, but I'll prove them wrong! I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm the man who's going to be Hokage!"

Naruto clenched his fist and repeated the words he had said countless times in his mind.

Kakashi facepalmed, while Daido covered his face.

Damn it, this guy's hopeless!

If you were to ask them what's good about this world, they would be certain that brainwashing is better than the Empire!

"Naruto...do you hate your father?"

Kakashi hesitated before speaking, a complex emotion flickering in his eyes.

Naruto was silent for a moment, then a bitter smile appeared on his face: "Hate? How could I hate someone I've never even met..."

He slowly raised his head, gazing into the distance, trying to see his father, whom he had never met, through the moonlit sea.

Despite being filled with countless confusions and regrets, he was unable to generate genuine hatred.

After all, his father was a hero, the Hokage who dedicated everything to the village, someone he had always longed to become.

Of course, deep down, Naruto still harbored an indescribable emotion.

He silently vowed that if he ever saw his father again, he would give him a good punch and make him understand the grievances and loneliness he had endured all these years.

Sasuke listened quietly, and a feeling of shared sorrow welled up in his heart as he thought of his own past.

He looked at Naruto with deep eyes, feeling more understanding and sympathy for his plight.

At that moment, Sasuke felt that he and Naruto were not so different after all.

Naruto usually appears in front of everyone in a rather embarrassing way; his carefree and uninhibited personality makes people laugh.

But only now did Sasuke understand why.

Sakura remained silent, tears welling in her eyes. Having often looked down on and belittled Naruto, knowing the story behind it all filled her with shame and pain.

Bai sat quietly to the side, hugging her knees tightly, her eyes vacant and unfocused, lost in thought.

Perhaps he was also reminiscing about his past, feeling the capriciousness and helplessness of fate.

"Nagato, do you think it's possible to release the Nine-Tails inside Naruto?"

—Not a dividing line—

Dai Tu: "Legend has it that there is an extremely mysterious organization above the empire, whose every word and action can influence our conquest of the world and the policy trends within the empire!"

Kakashi: "I've heard about it too. Legend has it that this mysterious organization is related to the penguins, the otherworldly creatures the Emperor spoke of! Nagato, do you know what they are?"

Nagato: "I saw their marks and codes on a stone slab somewhere in the Land of the End. It was a string of numbers, but I couldn't make them out. The numbers seem to be somewhere around here."

Chapter 45 Kakashi: My mother told me since I was little

"Extracting the Nine-Tails from Naruto is a piece of cake for me. I only need to summon a portable toilet to easily extract the tailed beast from Naruto's body."

"But that would cause extremely serious damage to Naruto. Even if he has the Uzumaki clan's constitution that allows him to survive after the extraction, it would completely turn him into a cripple."

Naruto had been listening to them with anticipation.

If the demon fox inside me could be extracted, could the fact that I've been a perennial loser ever change?

More importantly, am I more likely to gain the approval of the villagers?

"What can we do then? The Emperor said that nothing can happen to the Asuras and Indras of this world."

"Don't worry, I won't harm an innocent child like Naruto. Let me investigate first!"

As Nagato spoke, he hooked his five fingers together and then placed them on Naruto's stomach.

Naruto was startled by Nagato's sudden movement, and his body instinctively tried to dodge, but he managed to restrain himself.

The moment Nagato's hand touched Naruto, Naruto felt a strange power emanating from Nagato's hand, seeping into his body through his skin.

This power wasn't strong, but it instilled a strange fear in Naruto, as if something was being extracted from his body.

As Nagato's hand continued to roam over Naruto's stomach, Naruto felt that strange power growing stronger, along with an indescribable pain emanating from within his body.

This pain wasn't physical, but a piercing agony from the depths of one's soul, making one want to scream.

However, Naruto gritted his teeth and forced himself not to make a sound.

He's a man who can become Hokage! What are a little pain and grievance compared to this?

Furthermore, he didn't want Kakashi to worry too much.

Nagato seemed to sense Naruto's reaction, but he was currently at a crucial moment, about to enter the sealed space within Naruto's body, and he couldn't hesitate.

Naruto finally couldn't bear it any longer, letting out a low groan. His face turned ashen, a fine layer of sweat appeared on his forehead, and his body began to tremble slightly.

Kakashi breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that they were mindful of Naruto and wouldn't harm him.

However, when he thought about how these people might be able to steal the Nine-Tails once they figured out the surgical method to remove it, he realized that the Nine-Tails could potentially be taken away by them.

Even if Konoha manages to avoid further conflict with these individuals, the loss of the Nine-Tails' deterrent power will likely deter other ninja villages from letting the matter rest.

After all, Konoha has always been seen as easy prey by other villages, and now that it has lost the powerful deterrent force of the Nine-Tails, they will definitely take advantage of the situation.

This will plunge Konoha into war once again.

With this thought in mind, Kakashi frowned.

Nagato, his hand resting on Naruto's Eight Trigrams Seal, had entered a meditative state.

Naruto also had his head hanging low, seemingly having been taken into the sealed space by Nagato as well.

The night was long, so the group sat there chatting idly.

Even Sasuke didn't mention going into the genjutsu again to stimulate his Sharingan. He was munching on the grilled fish that Sakura had deboned, filled with longing for the so-called empire.

"Master, what kind of empire are you talking about? Naruto is so strong, what about me?"

It's impossible for Sasuke not to have a competitive spirit; his youthful pride also made him curious about how his talent fared within the Empire.

"Master sounds a bit strange, just call me teacher! As for the Empire, well, the Empire is too prosperous for me to know how to begin. Once the interdimensional teleportation channel is stable, I'll send you there to attend primary school!"

"As for you within the empire..."

"Like Akito, his strength has already surpassed the Kage level and reached the Six Paths level, but I really can't figure out the specifics."

Dai Tu racked his brains, but couldn't think of any adjectives.

"Six Paths? Then have I awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan?"

Sasuke asked curiously

Was his counterpart in that world the same age as him? With such terrifying genjutsu training methods and Uchiha body tempering techniques, he should have awakened his Sharingan long ago, right? I just wonder what his current situation is.

"Kaleidoscope? Heh heh, I admit I'm a genius of our Uchiha clan, but you were an even bigger genius in that world!"

"Our Empire's Left Assistant awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan at the age of eight and the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan at the age of twelve!"

"It's pitiful that I, the number one genius of the older generation of the Uchiha clan, have only awakened the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan so far, and only have one."

Kakashi watched as Daido boasted and Sasuke actually believed him, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of disdain.

"Pah! Shameless!"

Kakashi muttered something.

"Kakashi! What did you say?"

"I'm so lucky to have a genius partner like you!"

Upon hearing this, Daito proudly raised his head.

"See! Even Kakashi, the empire's top genius, praises me like this, Sasuke. Now you understand the strength of your teacher, right?"

Sasuke nodded repeatedly.

"Teacher! It's truly my blessing to have you as my mentor!"

Sasuke wanted to ask if his family was still alive in that world, but Kakashi interrupted him.

"You're saying Kakashi is a super genius within the Empire?"

Kakashi's gaze fell upon the man staring intently at the "Make-Out Paradise," and a flicker of curiosity finally arose within him regarding the empire they had spoken of.

"Yes, Kakashi's swordsmanship and Five Elements Ninjutsu are also famous throughout the Empire. Putting aside our families with bloodline limits, Kakashi can be said to be the ceiling for ordinary people!"

"If one has to compare him to someone, there are only a handful of people."
