Nagato gazed at the sky, her thoughts drifting into memories.

Upon hearing this, Jiraiya took out his notebook and began preparing to record anything.

He knew that the most important information was coming!

The other side has finally agreed to reveal their intelligence!

"Our empire and Konoha are currently on the same timeline, basically Konoha year 64. The only difference is that twenty years ago, when Konoha year 44 was reached, we switched to the Imperial calendar."

Nagato's thoughts drifted into memories as she spoke.

"I was born in Konoha in 33, when I was already eleven years old. Even though I was in Amegakure, I experienced many things firsthand."

"The Holy War concerning the Empire officially began a year after Hanzo of the Salamander declared war on the three kingdoms, which is Konoha Year 40, a year after the start of the Second Shinobi World War."

Jiraiya was secretly alarmed by Nagato's words.

Why is the course of their world's development exactly the same as ours?

Could it be that the difference in the future, which will lead to the mutation, will occur in Konoha in its 40th year?

He wants to abolish the ninja village system and the situation where the daimyo and the ninja villages jointly govern.

They launched a barrage of attacks against Lord Senju, instigated countless ninjas to start a civil war in an attempt to stop Lord Senju, and provided him with countless resources to support the remnants of ninja clans from other countries."

Chapter 35 Nagato's Change

Jiraiya gasped, nearly stumbling and falling.

Their world has a total population of only about 300 million, with only about 50 million in the Land of Fire. Furthermore, due to prolonged war and instability, the population has barely increased.

Nagato revealed the number and strength of the empire's ninjas in an attempt to persuade Jiraiya to give up his resistance.

This brief journey through the gates made it clear that the transformed form of the master before him truly yearned for peace, but he was using the wrong methods.

Nagato did not want the two worlds to truly bleed into a river and turn against each other.

It would be a lie to say he had no feelings for the empire; he had previously only hated the emperor. But after this trip, he understood and corrected his attitude.

A short, sharp pain is worse than a long, drawn-out one; the emperor's vision was extremely far ahead of its time!

The reason he talked so much with Jiraiya was because he still retained a kind heart; he didn't want too many people in this world to die because of foolish resistance.

Upon hearing this, Jiraiya looked at Nagato in disbelief.

"You mean you'll ultimately turn against us for the sake of your empire?"

Nagato sighed and nodded.

"Your world is too dark. Your ordinary people need liberation; they need freedom and dignity."

Hearing Nagato's arrogant and critical words, Jiraiya finally stopped hiding his disappointment.

"I will not betray Konoha. Since you have made your decision, let's meet on the battlefield!"

"We, the ninjas of Konoha, would never utter a word of surrender, even if it meant dying on the battlefield, in order to protect our homeland!"

After saying that, Jiraiya turned around.

"Nagato, I misjudged you. You're not as kind as I thought. Since you're going to bring disaster to this world, don't blame me for drawing my sword next time we meet."

Watching Jiraiya's figure gradually disappear into the horizon, Nagato sighed.

Having witnessed the flaws of this world, Nagato understood that the ninja village system and the imperial system could not coexist. The empire's conquest would not stop because of him alone, and he no longer wanted to hinder the empire.

Although Jiraiya was his first guide into this world, providing him with countless pieces of information along the way, the two ultimately ended up on opposite sides.

Nagato was filled with regret.

Furthermore, the modified corpse seal no longer absorbs the soul of the caster; instead, it absorbs a large portion of their yang energy.

Thus, these daimyo completely lost the ability to reproduce.

Nagato disappeared here only after doing all that.

His current goal is the Valley of the End!

Jiraiya, who had already gone quite far away, was eager to return and personally discuss the matter of parallel universes with the Third Hokage.
