He had only taken two steps when he was stopped by an uninvited guest.

Liz stood in front of him, holding up a flyer.

"Interested in joining the weekend party? It's a costume party with a superhero theme. Everyone's really into superheroes lately."

Peter glanced at the flyer in Liz's hand and shook his head. "Sorry, I'm not very interested in superheroes."

Liz persisted, saying, "Perhaps you can get some scientific inspiration from these themed gatherings."

She knew Peter was interested in science, so she tried to approach him from that angle.

"probably not."

Peter didn't quite understand why the student council president was so persistent.

“Okay, may I invite you to my exclusive interview? My new channel, ‘Miss Liz’s Search for the Strange,’ has now surpassed ten thousand subscribers.”

Liz's eyes lit up when she talked about her personal channel.

"The name sounds familiar, doesn't it? I borrowed it from the show 'Kraven the Hunter's Search for the Strange,' but that's not my favorite show. I prefer 'Carol Teaches You to Cook.'"

Peter, seeing Liz talking incessantly, decisively refused.

“Sorry, Liz, I don’t like being judged.”

"Ahem, don't rush to refuse. Perhaps you can take a look at the topics I've prepared for you."

Liz pulled a notebook out of her pink bag. “How about this theme: from fighting against school bullying to becoming a feared ‘Grim Reaper’? Many people call you ‘Grim Reaper’. From Josh’s death to your act of heroism in the hospital, everything is related to death. I think this kind of story is very topical.”

“Their deaths have nothing to do with me, Liz.”

Peter frowned.

“Then we can skip that topic and talk about bullying, starting with the Rumbrel case or the Frick case.”

Liz thought for a moment, "Or we could talk about District 4 v. David, you know about that?"

She explained to Peter, “George Kramer was the vice principal of District 4 Unified High School. He personally cut off a student’s hair. Later, he went to work for an insurance company, and the district eventually paid out $7,000 in compensation, well, that’s about $1,000 per lock of hair.”

Peter interrupted her abruptly, pointing to Liz's pink bag and reminding her, "Your bag has a hole in it."

"what?"

The bag, which looked quite valuable, had a scratch on the bottom.

The contents of the bag almost fell out.

She hurriedly and frantically began packing her schoolbag.

While Liz was packing her bag, Peter left.

He felt no remorse whatsoever for damaging the other person's backpack.

The more bad things one does, the more skilled one becomes, and the less psychological barriers one develops.

After leaving Liz, he walked to the classroom door and saw Harry walking towards him from across the corridor.

Harry, wearing an orange turtleneck sweater, had his hands in his pockets, looking preoccupied.

"Harry."

Peter called out to him.

Harry heard the voice, looked up, saw it was Peter, and gave him a forced smile.

"Are you OK?"

“I’m fine, Peter.”

Harry took a deep breath and walked over to Peter. "Isn't Gwen here?"

Peter replied, "She hasn't come yet."

Harry took his hand out of his pocket and said in a low voice, "Well, Gwen's been coming to class right when the bell rings lately, which wasn't the case before."

Peter frowned slightly as he looked at the other person's obviously exhausted appearance.

He asked Harry, "Is your father alright?!"

Although the Osborn laboratory explosion was widely reported in the media, Peter was unaware of what had happened.

However, in his memory, Harry's father was the infamous villain Green Goblin, so he shouldn't have died so easily.

He is still in the hospital.

Harry said with a worried look, "He was there when the accident happened in the lab."

"what did the doctor say?"

"The doctor said he is not in any danger."

Harry said, "That being said, his burns are quite severe."

Although he had a lot of grievances against his father, Harry didn't want this to happen.

He even regretted some of the things he had said to his father earlier.

Things will get better.

After offering Harry a word of comfort, Peter turned and walked back to the classroom.

"Sometimes I feel like a failure."

Harry suddenly said, sounding somewhat dejected.

"what?"

Peter stopped and looked at the other person.

“I always disappoint my father’s expectations. I can neither become the kind of person he hopes I will become, nor can I help him when he is in trouble.”

Harry couldn't help but confide his sadness to his friends.

“I used to tell Peter that he would become a great scientist and that Thompson and his team would work for him. But what will I become? I don’t know how to become valuable.”

Peter listened quietly without interrupting.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

Harry quickly composed himself. "I have to go back now. Remember to tell Gwen I'm okay."

Harry explained that he had only come to the school to say hello to Peter and Gwen, so he left in a hurry after saying a few words.

Peter's brow furrowed even more as he watched Harry's departing figure.

Chapter 66 The Wild Uncle Ben!

At the top of the church in Brooklyn, Gwen hung up the phone.

She just called Peter and asked him to ask Miss Fish for leave on her behalf.

I'm going to be late, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

She learned about Harry from the phone call.

"I hope Harry's dad is alright. Maybe I can go see him. After all, Harry's family helped a lot when his dad was in a coma in the hospital."

Gwen muttered to herself as she put on the white spider mask.

Gwen caught sight of a girl not far downstairs, took a deep breath, and the web-shooter on her wrist shot out a web that carried her away from upstairs.

"Can anyone help me?"

The blonde little girl stood in the yard and shouted loudly to those around her.

A British Shorthair black cat was standing on a tall tree in front of her.

Seemingly out of fear, the British Shorthair cat kept scratching at the branches, leaving marks all over the twigs.

"let me help you."

Gwen nimbly leaped onto the tree and grabbed the cat.

"Come here, kitty."

With a "thump," Gwen jumped to the ground and handed the cat to the little girl.

"Here you go, your cat. It looks adorable."

Unexpectedly, the little girl did not take the cat from her hands, but instead put her hands on her hips and looked at her, looking very angry.

"Is there something wrong with me?"

Gwen didn't know why she looked so angry.

"Of course there's a problem, this isn't my cat."

The blonde girl said angrily, "I'm a member of the Tree Lovers Club, and that cat is hurting that tree."

Gwen, holding the cat's paw, froze in mid-air.

"Okay, actually I don't like cats either, especially black cats."

After a moment, Gwen coughed and said awkwardly.

After the little girl from the Tree Lovers Club left in a huff, Gwen let out a somewhat dejected sigh.

His first attempt at doing good as a superhero failed.

Just as she was about to leave, her gaze inadvertently fell upon an elderly woman in the middle of the road.

An elderly man, leaning on a cane, walked unsteadily across the sidewalk.

But by then the red light was already on, and the car had already rushed over.

With a "whoosh," Gwen shot out a spider silk from her wrist, swinging herself to the old man's side.

"Lady, safety comes first!"

Gwen picked up the old woman and carried her away from the middle of the road.

They were moving so fast that they didn't even have time to take the old man's bag.

With a "thud," the old man's bag was run over by the car.

"Ah oh!"
