Gin doesn't want to work hard

Kurosawa had often been forced to do practice problems by his boss, so he could almost tell what the answer would be just by glancing at them.
Kurosawa quickly finished answering the questions, handed the paper to the doctor, and then quietly waited for the results.
Unsurprisingly, the doctor diagnosed him with mild depression and moderate anxiety.
"Sir, this is only a preliminary assessment. If you would like to get a more accurate result, I suggest you undergo some more detailed examinations."
The doctor recommended their hospital's most advanced brain examination equipment to Kurosawa.
Kurosawa naturally declined; the doctor's medical report was enough for him to report to his boss.
As for the instrument inspection.
What a joke! He's not really mentally ill; doing those things would just give him away.
The doctor misunderstood him.
"Sir, mental illness is not uncommon. As long as you cooperate with treatment, there is hope for recovery. Some instrumental tests will help us better understand your condition, and we can then develop a better treatment plan for you..."
"Thanks, but no need."
Kurosawa interrupted the doctor, his feigned anxiety vanished, and he appeared unusually calm.
He smiled politely at the doctor, took the medical record from his hand, and turned to leave without hesitation.
"Sigh..." The doctor wanted to stop him, but Kurosawa's steps were quick, and he disappeared in the blink of an eye.
"Sigh, these young people nowadays..." the doctor sighed helplessly.
……
Having completed his task, Kurosawa walked briskly downstairs.
As soon as I entered the hospital lobby, a somewhat familiar voice called out from behind me.
"Kurosawa-kun?"
Kurosawa turned his head and saw Ran Mouri and Conan beside her.
To their right were Kogoro Mouri and a strange man.
Kurosawa paused, thought for a moment, and then went over to say hello.
"Ran, Conan, and Mr. Mori, what are you doing here?"
“It was Dad who received the request…” Ran Mouri explained, and then asked.
"Where's Kurosawa-nii? What's he doing at the hospital? Is he feeling unwell?"
Conan looked over when he heard this.
Could it be that the previous gunshot wound still has lingering effects?
Although the bullet was stopped by the phone, at such close range, the impact could still cause internal injuries...
Kurosawa could tell from Conan's expression that he had misunderstood.
"No, it was just a routine medical check-up," Kurosawa lied slightly.
After all, to be honest, even putting Ran Mouri aside, Conan will definitely hold a grudge.
"I see..." Ran Mouri was relieved.
Conan, however, was not easily fooled and wanted to ask something more, but was interrupted by Kogoro Mouri standing to the side.
"Hey, how long are you guys going to chat? Didn't you say you were going to go check out the archives?"
"Dad!" Ran Mouri was somewhat dissatisfied with Kogoro Mouri's attitude.
Kogoro Mouri didn't take it seriously and turned to follow his client, Dr. Ogawa.
Kurosawa didn't mind; it was a good opportunity to say goodbye.
"Then I'll..." and not bother you any longer.
"Kurosawa-nii, come along too!"
Before he could finish speaking, Conan dragged Kurosawa along with him.
Kurosawa was speechless. Why did you have to drag him along?
He didn't want to get involved in those strange cases.
It's a waste of time and doesn't do any good.
But he couldn't very well shake off Conan's hand and say he was leaving.
Well, I just hope Conan can finish this case soon.
If all else fails, just find an excuse to leave halfway through.
Conan didn't think too much about it.
He only dragged Kurosawa away because he wanted to find someone to discuss the case with.
Also, he discovered that Xiaolan suspected him.
With Kurosawa around, perhaps they can help him keep it a secret for a while.
The group arrived at the archives.
Dr. Ogawa took out all the patient medical records he had encountered and placed them on the table.
Kogoro Mouri quickly flipped through the pages but found no clues.
After discussing it, the two decided to go to the patient lounge again.
Ran Mouri followed her out.
Before leaving, she specifically asked Conan, and after receiving a negative answer, she didn't mind.
The door to the archives room was closed, leaving only Conan and Kurosawa inside.
Seeing that everyone else had left, Conan stopped pretending.
He jumped onto the chair, picked up the files on the table, and began flipping through them at a speed that no ordinary person could possibly achieve.
Kurosawa glanced at the door, which had been slightly ajar, and at Ran Mouri, who was peeking out from behind it. He then looked at Conan, who was completely oblivious.
Kurosawa silently looked away, making no attempt to remind Conan.
At this moment, Ran Mouri quietly entered the room and came up behind Conan.
"Conan, have you discovered anything?" Ran Mouri asked gently.
"Ah, Ran-neechan!" Conan was startled, but he quickly revealed his deduction.
Listening to Conan's clear and logical reasoning, Kurosawa glanced at him speechlessly.
That's it? You think you can avoid suspicion?
Live it!
Seeing that Ran Mouri had already called out the name "Shinichi," Conan responded without even noticing.
Kurosawa silently left the room.
If he doesn't leave soon, Conan might use him as a shield.
As expected, under Ran Mouri's questioning, Conan instinctively went to Kurosawa.
"Kurosawa-nii-san...?"
Conan wanted to find Kurosawa to conceal his identity, but he couldn't find him, so he picked up the game console next to him and started playing.
They played and cheered, acting like real children.
This play actually led him to a clue.
Seeing the name displayed on the game console, Conan's pupils contracted, and he subconsciously returned to the table to look through the files.
Sure enough, a case matching that name was found.
Looking at the medical record with the word "death" clearly written on it, and thinking about Dr. Ogawa's son, Conan suddenly understood everything.
"Oh no!" he couldn't help but sigh inwardly, turning to look at Ran Mouri. "Ran, quickly go and call Uncle Mouri and Dr. Ogawa over!"
Outside the door, seeing Ran rushing out, Kurosawa knew that things had taken a new turn.
He pushed open the door and walked into the archives room, where he saw Conan holding a medical record with a serious expression.
Conan wasn't surprised to see Kurosawa come in, and instinctively wanted to share his deductions with him.
Kurosawa quickly raised his hand to interrupt.
"You can explain your reasoning after everyone arrives. What I'm more curious about now is how you plan to explain this to Xiaolan?"
Conan answered without hesitation.
"We can't let Xiaolan find out!"
"Why?" Kurosawa asked curiously. "The professor and I already know, so what difference would it make if Ran were to be added to the list? We can just ask her to keep it a secret too."
"Or do you not believe that Xiaolan can keep a secret?"
Chapter 31 The man whose son died decides to take revenge
"Of course not!" Conan quickly denied.
"It's just that Xiaolan is kind and sensitive, and she can easily empathize with others. She simply can't bear to see others suffer."
"If she knew, she would be worried to death!"
"Besides, I know nothing about that organization right now, so I can't let her take the risk with me..."
Kurosawa understood.
"It's just that I feel sorry for my girlfriend."
Conan: "?!!"
"Kurosawa-nii!!"
Kurosawa held down Conan, who was about to jump up, and quickly changed the subject under his embarrassed and indignant gaze.
"So how are you going to cover this up? She was just calling you Shinichi."
