This sudden turn of events left all the members of the task force puzzled, with no one knowing what was going on. They never expected that a third monster was lurking in the shadows.

This made them realize that the situation here was very bad, filled with unknown and terrifying creatures.

Just then, a very loud bird cry suddenly came from the sky.

A dozen or so enormous flying creatures, each over ten meters long, were descending towards the task force from above.

These creatures look somewhat like bats, but their heads resemble vultures; in short, they are bizarre creatures beyond human comprehension.

All task force members immediately ran into the forest to use the trees to prevent the creatures from landing.

However, they underestimated the speed of these strange birds. Some of them were caught and flown into the sky before they even entered the forest, leaving behind a trail of blood.

Moreover, these strange birds are exceptionally agile, able to pass through a cluster of trees to continue their pursuit.

This forced the task force to open fire in resistance.

After losing some members, they finally killed the pursuing monster bird and were temporarily safe.

Conversely, the group of wild, menacing wolf monsters that had just appeared, seemingly ready to attack at any moment, were now staring in one direction with fear in their eyes for some reason.
