Razer, sitting on the sofa, turned his head, glanced at Franka, and then decisively debunked her, saying, "Don't listen to Franka's nonsense. Last night, she just wanted to invite you for a late-night snack, and that's when she found out."
"Hey, Razer!" Franka turned around and glared at Razer. "You're really sabotaging me way too fast!"
"Heh." Razer rolled his eyes at Franka, who seemed to be on the verge of jumping up and down, then looked at Jessica beside him, "But Jessica still has to remind you that you need to be moderate in your studies."
"Ugh." Jessica lowered her head shyly after being lectured by Razer. Although sleeping on the table yesterday was not her wish, it would be better to listen to her seniors' lectures now than to explain to Razer and Franka.
“I know you’re excited,” Razer continued, looking at Jessica. “However, learning to sleep directly on the table is not a good habit, and I don’t think Miss Yuzuki would like it either.”
“Yes…” Jessica nodded. “I’m sorry, I will pay more attention to my studies in the future.”
Anyway, Jessica knew that the learning center would no longer be in reality, so she could just go to bed on time from now on, which would save Franka and Razer from worrying.
As for tonight, which aspect of bullet engraving should I focus on learning? Regarding treatment, there are 36 red marks alone, but my engraving skills are still quite rudimentary.
The healing imprints that follow are even more complex than the Red Mark, and Jessica doesn't know if she can learn them and make one in tonight's dream world.
"Oh, right, speaking of which, Ms. Yuuki said she'd give me tutoring if I had time during the day." Jessica thought to herself as she ate the breakfast Razer had bought, "Maybe I could ask Ms. Yuuki to carve a few for me to test, to experiment with the effects."
After all, if Jessica were to carve now, she could only carve red marks, and the quality would be inconsistent, with no clear effect. This could potentially lead to serious mistakes on the battlefield.
Franka, who was standing to the side, looked at Jessica, who was eating a steamed bun and staring blankly, and poked her cheek: "What are you thinking about? You're so engrossed in your thoughts that you're not even eating breakfast?"
Jessica, who had been poked, snapped out of her daze and looked at Franka: "It's nothing, I was just thinking about going to see Teacher Yuzuki for a lesson later."
"Oh~" Franka drawled, "My little darling, you're so eager to learn, or do you just want to spend more time with your idol~"
"Talking nonsense so early in the morning." Razer, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but raise his fist as he watched Franka flirting with Jessica so early in the morning.
"Ouch!" Guanlan rubbed her forehead, glaring at Razer, who calmly withdrew his fist. "What are you doing? What's wrong with you?"
"Heh." Razer rolled his eyes, ignoring Franka, and turned to look at Sika, who seemed to be blushing so much she was practically dripping with water.
"Let's go find Miss Yuzuki after we finish eating," Razer said to Jessica. "Medicine isn't something you can master by just studying it on your own."
"Ah."
"So you punched me for this?" Franka glared at Razer. "Do you know how strong you are?!"
“I’ve already gone easy on you.” Razer turned to look at Franka, who was feigning anger. “And I think with your stubbornness, it shouldn’t be a big problem.”
"You guy!"

After breakfast, Jessica and her group strolled over to Yuuki's door. Jessica hesitated for a moment before knocking.
Soon, the door opened, and Yuuzuki stood in the doorway, looking at Jessica and the other two.
"Good morning, Ms. Yuzuki." Jessica looked at Yuzuki in front of her and timidly raised her hand to greet her. "I'm sorry to bother you so early."
Looking at the three people in front of her, Xi Yue silently stepped aside, seemingly squeezing into their waists. Just as the three were wondering about Xi Yue's silence, Xi Yue's voice suddenly came from inside the room.
"Come in, what are you doing standing at the door?"
"Huh?" Jessica stood in the doorway and looked into the room. At that moment, Yuuzuki was sitting on the sofa, smiling as she looked at the three people standing in the doorway.
"A clone's Originium Arts?" Liskarm was the first to react to the situation before him, looking at 'Yuzuki' who opened the door for them with some surprise.
"An elemental clone technique?" Franka looked at Yuuki in surprise. "The level of detail is amazing."
"Alright~" Yuzuki looked at the two people standing at the door, studying their water clones, with a hint of helplessness. "Come in, would you like a cup of coffee?"
"A drink, please." Franka shrugged when she heard Yuuki's voice, and as she was about to walk into the room, she turned back and tugged at Liskarm. "Alright, top student, don't bother researching your Originium Arts anymore, they're different."
Jessica walked into the room, glanced at 'Yuzuki' by the door, and then at Yuzuki sitting on the sofa drinking coffee.
'So, when the teacher said she could do it in real life, she meant this?'
"What brings you here so early?" Yuzuki smiled at Jessica, taking out an exquisite coffee cup from under the table.
"Are you feeling unwell?" Yuuki asked with a smile, glancing at Jessica before pushing the poured coffee towards her. "If your head hurts, have a sip first~"
"Hmm." Jessica picked up her coffee and took a sip. The coffee wasn't bitter; it had a rich flavor, and a delicate aroma filled her nostrils.
More importantly, as the coffee entered my mouth, the persistent pain in my mind gradually dissipated.
"This is?"
"I don't skimp on anything here." Xi Yue smiled and looked at the other two. "Would you like a drink?"
"Thank you for your help." Razer nodded and sat down properly on the sofa.
"Oh, thank you, Miss Yuuki~" Franka casually sat on the sofa and looked around. "Where are Miss Exusiai, Miss Texas, and Miss Red?"
After the two nodded, Yuuki poured them coffee and pushed it in front of them, casually replying, "Exusiai should be watching TV next door."
"Texas should be out for his morning exercise by now, I wonder where he's gone." Yuzuki glanced into the room. "As for Hong, she's still sleeping, so keep your voice down."
After giving a brief explanation, Yuuki looked at Jessica and stretched out her hand: "Give it to me?"
"Hmm~" Jessica wasn't surprised when Yuuki was born. She wondered why Yuuki-sensei knew what she was there for. She took out the engraved bullet that she had already taken out of the magazine from her pocket.
“Hmm~” Yuzuki took the bullet covered with red patterns that Jessica handed her. “The lines of the engravings in many places are not uniform, and some lines are not straight enough.”
"The lines weren't even enough during etching, which will weaken the effect when used." Yuuki criticized Jessica's mistakes in etching without hesitation, holding the bullet.
"Ugh." Jessica nodded humbly, accepting Yuuki's criticism. "Yes, I still need to practice."
Franka, sitting to the side, looked at the strange bullet in Yuuki's hand and leaned closer to Razer: "Razer, what's with that bullet? Why hasn't Jessica used it before?"
"It seems," Razer glanced at Yuuki and Jessica, "that Yuuki taught Jessica some kind of special Originium Arts?"
"Originium Arts for bullet processing?" Franka looked at Yuuki and silently complained, "This doesn't seem to have much to do with medicine."
“But,” Yu Yue smiled at Jessica, took Jessica’s hand, and placed the bullet back in Jessica’s palm, “this bullet is undoubtedly usable. Congratulations, Jessica, you have truly etched a Red Mark bullet.”
Then, Yuuki pulled out a pre-prepared tin box from under the table and pushed it in front of Jessica: "Open it and take a look?"
"Huh?" Jessica opened the metal box that was pushed in front of her. Inside the box, it was divided into four compartments, and in each compartment lay several bullets with various engravings.
“These are all engravings of similar level to Red Mark, as well as some more complex ones.” Xi Yue pointed to the bullets in the iron box, “which is your next task.”
“Let’s go~” Yuzuki stood up and patted Jessica’s head. “You guys go to the shooting range first, I’ll go find Warfarin and get a bag of blood.”
Jessica nodded, picked up the tin box, and carefully put it into her bag: "Um, Ms. Yuzuki, we'll be waiting for you at the shooting range?"
"Well, you can try it if you want." Xi Yue smiled, stood up, and walked outside. "The red compartment contains healing items. You can also try the others if you want."
"understood."
—————Rhodes Island Medical Center—————
"Dr. Warfarin?" Yuuki pushed open the door and looked into the room. After seeing who was inside, she raised an eyebrow. "Good morning, Dr. Kal'tsit. Are you looking for something?"
Kal'tsit paused in her rummaging through the table, turned to look at Yuuki, and calmly stood up, replying, "Nothing much. May I ask, Dr. Yuuki, what brings you here today?"
"I came to see Dr. Warfarin to ask for a blood pack." Xi Yue looked around the room. "Is she on house calls?"
"I suppose so." Kal'tsit nodded, then turned and pulled out several blood packs from a hidden compartment in the table. "Here you go."
"No registration is required?"
“No need.” Kal’tsit shook her head decisively. “It’s something this guy has been keeping for himself anyway, so take it if you want.”
"Oh~" Yuuki looked at Kal'tsit calmly with a hint of amusement in her eyes, but said nothing. She casually put the blood pack in Kal'tsit's hand into her clothes and turned to leave the office.
"Judging by this, Dr. Warfarin probably isn't going on a house call." Yuuki, having just left the office, stroked her chin and looked up at the deck. "He's probably going to the bridge again to be a model student repeating his studies."
"I'm bored anyway, so I'll go grab some melon seeds after I finish the test with Jessica."
—————Rhodes Island Training Area Shooting Range—————
"Wow!" Franka exclaimed in surprise, staring at the burning target before her. "Is it really that powerful with a different bullet?"
“Flames… but I feel like if we were to coordinate them, it might not be a good idea, and it might even help the enemy?” Jessica looked at the flames on the target in front of her that were gradually dying down. “Hmm, let’s keep it as an option.”
“A very good addition to our forces.” Razer looked at the charred target in the distance. “It can be of extra use in the wilderness.”
"Hmm, Jessica, try this~" Franka took a bullet with blue patterns all over it from the tin box. "Take a look at this?"
"This looks like... a mist?" Jessica took the bullet and examined it carefully, noticing the blue patterns on the cartridge case. She then removed the magazine and loaded the bullet.
Jessica crouched down and took a deep breath. As she pulled the trigger, the bullet was fired, and the spent cartridge case was ejected, turning into a cloud of dust in the air.
The bullet landed in the distance on the charred target, shattering into pieces. A cloud of blue mist instantly dispersed, but the blue mist was very faint and could hardly obscure the view.
"It seems pretty useless," Franka said, stroking her chin. "It's a bit of a shame."
"At the moment of impact, it does have a concealing effect." Razer calmly observed the dispersing blue mist before him. "It's somewhat useful, but not much."
"Looks like you're having a lot of fun?" Yuzuki walked over from the side, looking at the three people who were taking the test. "How's the test going?"
“They are all very practical, except for some that are only applicable to a small area.” Razer turned to look at Yuuki. “These are very practical Originium Arts. I am very grateful to Miss Yuuki for sharing her knowledge so generously.”
"After all, she's my student." Yuuki patted Jessica's head as she leaned closer. "Alright, now for the main point of this test~"
Yu Yue took out a blood pack from her clothes: "Although it's not very realistic, the test results should be sufficient."
Although Yuuki could conjure up a person out of thin air for Jessica to shoot at as she pleased, it was best to leave it at that, considering Jessica might not be willing.
"Mmm." Jessica was about to take the blood pack when Franka stopped her.
"Alright, stop using this stuff." Franka looked at the two of them and pointed to the side. "I asked the staff when I came here. Over there, there are Originium Bugs and Hounds specifically for operators to shoot at targets."
Xi Yue paused in mid-air, holding the blood pack. "Uh, there's such a thing?"
Franka nodded matter-of-factly: "There are many places, but speaking of which, it feels a bit strange that Rhodes Island now has these kinds of facilities too?"
Xi Yue coughed awkwardly after her wasted trip, but it wasn't entirely for nothing. At least she could still go and get some gossip later.
Chapter 94: Bridge Trainee
—————Rhode Island Shooting Range Training Room—————
After asking the staff for an iron cage filled with Originium Bugs, the group entered the training room.
To be honest, theoretically speaking, using hunting dogs would make the effects easier to see. The higher price is secondary, since Jessica is here. The main problem is that Jessica is unwilling.
However, since we're just looking at the general effect anyway, using Originium Bugs won't make much difference.
Franka took the iron cage, put on her protective gear, and with the pliers and her swift sword in her other hand, she walked a distance away, put the iron cage down, and looked at Jessica.
“Well then, let’s try out your Red Mark first.” After Franka took her position, Yuzuki looked at Jessica and said, “Load the bullets in the order of Red Mark, Healing, Clear Water, and Steel Guard.”
Jessica nodded, took the red-marked bullet out of her pocket, and then carefully examined the bullets placed in the red compartments before loading them into the compartments one by one in the order that Yuuki had just instructed.
Finally, Jessica reloaded the loaded magazine into the pistol, then raised her hand to Franka to indicate that she was ready.
