When she returned to the train, the interstellar peace broadcast that was playing completely answered her questions:

"Welcome to the Interstellar Peace Broadcast. This is an emergency broadcast."

"This is one of the few pieces of good news in our emergency broadcasts, and we can't wait to share it with you."

"At 00:53 today, the Christie Galaxy was attacked by the [Destruction] Star God and the Antimatter Legion, but there were no casualties."

"The observation stations of all seven interstellar civilizations in the Christie system have observed the anomaly."

"After the [Destruction] Star God descended, before the antimatter legion had landed, a mysterious figure appeared behind the [Destruction] Star God and pierced His chest with a white-hot longsword."

"This mysterious figure is the [Life] Star God who has only recently come into the public eye. We will also take this opportunity to reveal the [Life] Star God's known appearance."

"In this clash between [life] and [destruction], the entire antimatter legion that participated in the battle was wiped out, and the [Destruction] Star God also left behind His arms."

"Finally, the [Life] Star God also sent back to their home planets those who had lost contact with each other across the galaxy during this catastrophe, making this [destructive] attack truly a case of no casualties."

Himeko wasn't the only one listening to the broadcast in the observation car; Danko and Walter, who had initially turned on the radio, were also there.

Little March and the awakened star strolled around the space station.

Danheng remained as taciturn as ever.

Himeko and Walter were also listening attentively to the announcements coming from the audio equipment.

But slowly, the image of Bai Yan appeared in Walter's mind. He had learned from his previous conversation with Dan Heng that Bai Yan was not present during the attack on the space station.

Estella had also told Danheng and the others that there was no need to worry about Bai Yan's safety.

Walter casually pushed up his glasses, seemingly lost in thought.

At this moment, the emergency broadcast of the interstellar peace news also came to an end:

"This was an attack that resulted in no casualties. It was an unprecedented disgrace to [destruction], but also a miracle brought to us by [life]."

"This concludes our broadcast. On behalf of Interstellar Peace Corporation, we extend our highest respect to this great deity!"

The voice of interstellar peace broadcast resounded throughout the universe.

At this moment, Bai Yan was still analyzing his spoils; this battle was only the beginning.

When a new Star God is born soon, that will be the wave he truly wants to create in the universe.

Based on past failures, it might be completed before the Star Train sets off again.

Chapter 28 The Beginning of the Fateful Encounter Between Star and Trash Can

The space station is located in space, where there is no distinction between day and night, but the system still reminds them of the time for rest and meals.

Bai Yan brought breakfast from the space station's dining hall and knocked on the ancient door that stood out of nowhere: "My dear assistant, it's time for a rest."

His collision with [Destruction] occurred around 1 a.m. system time, and it is now 7 a.m. system time.

Ruan Mei had just touched [Destruction] in the early morning and found it difficult to fall asleep immediately, so Bai Yan asked her to organize the books first to calm her mind.

Now she should be able to rest in peace.

In this place where there is no distinction between day and night, a sudden attack is enough to disrupt people's routines, but Estádio's command was excellent enough that the space station quickly restored the shift system.

"Crack-"

The antique door opened, and an elegant, black-haired woman stepped out.

Despite not having slept all night, Nguyen Mai did not appear listless; her jewel-like green eyes remained as calm as ever.

Bai Yan casually pulled out a chair for her from in front of the desk: "Have something to eat, then get ready to rest."

"Thank you."

Nguyen Mai responded briefly, saying that she also realized her body needed a rest, and that overworking would only lead to less effective results.

Bai Yan smiled as he looked at Ruan Mei, who had taken her seat.

The confirmation of Star God's identity did not cause a significant change in Ruan Mei's attitude towards him; it merely established initial trust based on their shared identity.

Perhaps it was because of his preconceived image of being approachable that his attitude might have been different if he had met Nguyen Mai in her Star God form first.

He believes that the Star God is just one of the masses, but once most people know that he is the Star God, it will be difficult for them to treat him as a normal person to communicate with.

Even the revered Lady Black Tower wouldn't be too calm after learning his true identity.

After the discussion at the last film screening, Black Tower must have developed some doubts about his identity.

But it doesn't matter if Black Tower finds out; he'll let her know sooner or later anyway.

Ruan Mei and Heita have one thing in common: only by being a Star God can one better connect with them, better understand their lives, and more easily see every detail of their lives.

"After you finish eating, it's up to you whether you go back to your room or stay here to rest. I'm going out for a bit."

Deconstruction [destruction] is important, but Bai Yan doesn't want to neglect the newly born star because of it; a newborn child needs care.

Kafka let go and left; he couldn't just abandon her.

When he returned from the restaurant, he saw Xing and March 7 doing some kind of commission from afar. He didn't disturb them, thinking they shouldn't be too busy now.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

The main control module of the Black Tower space station.

The girl with long gray hair took a small white dog out of the trash can.

"Wang Wang~"

March 7th caught up, panting, and bent down, placing his hands on his knees: "That little Peipei is jumping way too fast!"

"We finally caught you!" March 7th laughed, looking at the puppy in Xing's arms. "Serves you right for running around in narrow places, you even ran into the trash can!"

Normally, she and Xing weren't slow, but the little guy could easily pass through all sorts of narrow places, while they had to take a longer route.

Xing glanced at the trash that had been pulled up from the ground, then handed the little white dog in her hand to March 7: "You take Peipei back first. I'll clean up here."

"Okay, see you in a bit."

March 7th took the little white dog and muttered to Peipei, who was being supported by both arms, as they walked, "What were you thinking, jumping into the trash can? It's filthy, I'll give you a good wash later. But Estella probably doesn't have time right now, how about I do it?"

March 7th took Peipei and gradually disappeared into the distance.

Xing squatted down and began to clean up the trash on the ground.

A tissue with gold marks caught her attention.

She felt like she'd seen that brilliant golden hue somewhere before. Just a short while ago, in the scene she witnessed before she fainted.

Golden blood flowed from the white-haired man whose chest had been pierced.

Even after being placed in the trash can for a long time, this thing did not develop a rotten smell like fruit peels.

Is this an ordinary tissue stained with gold paint, or something else?

Just as she curiously picked up the tissue, a woman's voice came from behind her: "Give it to me."

Xing turned around and saw a petite figure with brown hair and purple eyes looking at her from below. There were obvious joint marks at the joints, making it seem like it wasn't real.

She had been on the space station for several system periods and had encountered many such dolls around, but this was the first time the other party had spoken to her.

March 7th said this is Lady Black Tower's doll, which only goes online when there's a reason, and otherwise just sits there.

"I know, you're trying to say that what you found is yours, right?"

Before she could speak, the Black Tower doll imposed these words on her and responded: "I know you, Himeko's newest Star Core brat. Normally I would be very interested in you, but I don't have time now, and I'm too lazy to reason with you."

Then, Black Tower casually swiped a small section of the screen and said, "I don't have your account. I transferred the credits to Himeko. Ask her for them. Consider it payment for rummaging through the trash. You can also consider this a purchase. Here you go."

Xing paused for a moment, and after thinking for a while, handed the item in her hand to Black Tower.

The other person walked away, leaving behind a disdainful remark: "You've wasted so much of my precious time thinking about it."

"Om-"

Hoshi took out her vibrating phone; it was a message from Himeko.

[Himeko]: Is the money the Black Tower is transferring meant for you to participate in some kind of experiment? Did you agree to it?

[Himeko]: I thought her attention was completely drawn to the battles between the systems a while ago. It seems she's still interested in you.

[Star]: No. I was just emptying the trash can when she took a piece of trash from me without my knowledge.

[Himeko]: The entire space station belongs to her, why would she buy junk from you? It seems that it couldn't possibly be junk, and she was very interested in it, which is why she was in a hurry to pay and take it away.

[Star]: Damn it, did I lose out?

[Himeko]: Many things that Black Tower is interested in are useless or even harmful to ordinary people. It's not a loss, and seeing this amount, it's a good deal. I'll transfer the credits to you right away.

While chatting with Himeko, Hoshi glanced at the trash on the ground that hadn't been cleaned up yet, and then at the two trash cans in front of him.

There is a greater than 90% chance that the items hidden inside are useless junk.

But there is also a very small probability that it contains wealth and treasure, just like the one just now.

She had already promised Himeko that she would remain a nameless guest.

Exploring the unknown is the very essence of pioneering.

Just now, she used this uncertainty to earn a considerable amount of money for herself.

This income is enough for her to prepare gifts for them on March 7th, to make them smile, and also enough for her to buy some things she likes.

Her gaze was fixed on the trash can, even if it was futile, even if she got covered in filth, even if she was met with cold stares from others...

She hesitated, yet remained resolute; her pale fingers finally reached the dimly lit cave entrance.

Chapter 29 The Discovery of the Black Tower

Bai Yan activated his life coordinates and quickly confirmed the location of the star.

When he stepped into the main control section, he saw a strange scene.

A girl with long gray hair stood in front of two trash cans, with some scattered trash on the ground.
