"Professor, what do you want with me? I'm no good at Quidditch!"

Snape sat at the table, gave a cold laugh, and said, "I heard from Malfoy that you were the one who bumped into Harry Pott when you were coaching him in the game?"

"Professor, I was just mentioning it casually. I didn't encourage Malfoy to do it; it was all his own idea!"

"That damn Malfoy, he just blurts out whatever comes to mind!" Jerry cursed inwardly, while simultaneously shifting all the blame onto Malfoy.

"No, no, no! What I mean is... you're more cunning than the others. Don't you have any other dirty tricks up your sleeve? Slytherin's next match is against Ravenclaw, and I hope to win!"

"Heh!" Jerry's lips twitched slightly, then his eyes darted around as he said, "Professor Snape, I have a plan that can restore Slytherin's sight and save the House Cup from danger."

"Tell me!"

"Professor, what's your relationship with the referee like? You could pay a little money for this! Just a little! It won't cost much, even if you do it secretly..."

"Next!" Jerry was interrupted loudly by Snape before he could finish speaking.

"Professor, then I only have one idea left! Among Muggle athletes, there's a banned substance called performance-enhancing drugs. You could look into it, after all, you're a genuine Potions Master, so..."

"Get out of my office, now, immediately!"

"Bang!" Jerry was shoved out, followed by the loud slam of the door shut by Snape.

How rude!

Chapter 108: Do I still need to spend money?

After being kicked out of Snape's office, Jerry went to the infirmary and could hear a commotion inside before he even entered.

Sure enough, upon entering, they saw Malfoy and Harry lying on adjacent hospital beds, shouting at each other!

"Scarface, you wait! I'm going to tell my dad that you attacked me on purpose!"

"Malfoy, you coward who only knows how to cry and beg for your father!"

"Stop arguing! If anyone keeps making noise, I'll throw them out!" Mrs. Pomfrey was also getting a headache from their noise.

"Mrs. Pomfrey, I want to change beds, somewhere away from Malfoy!"

"I want to change too!"

"No, everyone lie still!" Madam Pomfrey said, holding the medicine. "This is the school infirmary. Even Headmaster Dumbledore has to listen to me!"

Seeing that he couldn't change beds, Malfoy threatened Harry, "Potter, if you dare to run around at night and cross the line, I'll give you a good kick in the butt!"

Harry: "You're talking nonsense!"

……

The next morning, as soon as Jerry arrived in the dining hall, he heard that someone had been attacked again.

"Jerry, you've heard, haven't you? Colin was attacked last night on his way to the infirmary to see Harry!" Hermione said, sounding somewhat panicked.

Jerry nodded. Colin was that Harry fanatic, a first-year student who spent all day taking pictures of Harry with his camera, even when Harry was using the toilet or taking a shower.

"Jerry, Colin's been petrified too!" Harry ran into the hall after leaving the infirmary.

"Harry, your hand bones have grown back! So fast!"

“My hand is fine now, Mrs. Pomfrey let me be discharged, but Colin got into trouble! He’s in the infirmary right now!”

"Harry, are you sure Colin is like Filch's cat? Petrified?"

“That’s right. Professor Dumbledore happened to come downstairs to get some hot chocolate and found Colin. He was petrified. Malfoy and I both heard it last night in the infirmary.”

So, does that mean Voldemort can still control the Basilisk? Jerry thought to himself.

"Hermione, we need to hurry and prepare the Polyjuice Potion! Malfoy reacted strangely last night when he heard about the attack; he must know something!"

Jerry ignored Harry's wild imagination and didn't stop them from preparing Polyjuice Potion; he just treated it as Hermione's potion-making practice! Anyway, Harry would take the blame if anything went wrong!

"No...something terrible has happened!" Ron and Neville, carrying their schoolbags, ran towards them, panting.

"Ron, we know, Colin's in trouble!"

“No, look at this!” Ron opened the bag and handed it to Harry.

"A two-horned beast's horn, an African tree snake's skin, Ron, did you steal them from Snape?" Harry glanced at them and immediately closed his backpack.

"No, it suddenly appeared on your bed this morning. You can ask Neville if you don't believe me."

“That’s right!” Neville nodded.

Jerry looked at the backpack thoughtfully; it must have been stolen by the house-elf Dobby.

As for whether it was Snape's medicine, it's hard to say.

I ran into Jerry this morning before he came to the lobby, and he didn't see any unusual reaction.

If it really was Snape's medicine that was stolen, his first thought would be that Harry Potter did it, and he might even be searching the Gryffindor dorms right now!

"Great! With these medicinal herbs, we'll definitely be able to prepare the compound decoction within a month!"

"Hermione, please!" Harry carefully handed the bag to Hermione.

"Don't worry, leave it to me!"

……

News of Colin Crevey's attack and subsequent hospitalization spread rapidly throughout the school. Rumors flew, and everyone was on edge. First-year students, in particular, moved in groups, seemingly afraid that going alone would lead to the same fate.

Ginny, Colin Creevey's deskmate, has been extremely irritable lately. To cheer her up, Fred and George try all sorts of ways to make her laugh, sometimes dressing up as ghosts in fur to scare her, and other times conjuring up boils all over their bodies to make her laugh.

However, Jerry felt that it would be better if the two of them did nothing.

Finally, Percy angrily declared he would write to Mrs. Weasley to tell her that Ginny was having nightmares every night, and only then did Fred and George stop their antics.

Jerry also secretly observed Ginny Weasley and found that apart from her pale complexion, there was nothing unusual about her; she had hidden it quite well!

"Jerry, this is a talisman I specially got from home, I'm giving it to you!"

"Thank you so much, senior!" Jerry skillfully accepted the gift from the senior in front of him, whose name he didn't know.

During this period, due to the attacks, everyone was exchanging amulets, talismans, and other items to protect themselves from the attacks.

Jerry didn't take it seriously at first, since he knew the reason.

But in the days that followed, Jerry received a ton of amulets from girls at various colleges wherever he went. Even if Jerry refused or said he already had an amulet, they would still give it to him, and he couldn't refuse.

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Neville handed Harry and the others a large, stinking green onion doll, a sharp amethyst crystal, and a rotting salamander tail that he had bought.

"It's very popular to wear amulets at school now. I bought these for you guys. A senior told me they're very useful and can prevent you from being attacked!"

"Will this really work?" Hermione held the amethyst up to the light. "I don't need it. Jerry gave me something for self-defense before school started."

Harry and Ron looked at the items on the table with equal skepticism. "Neville, how much did you pay for this?"

"15 Kossi".

"It's so expensive, almost as much as a Galleon! But we're purebloods, so it seems like we don't need it. Let's give it to Harry and Jerry!"

"What are you all talking about! What are all these things?"

Jerry walked over, looked at the strange things on the table, picked one up and examined it.

“Jerry, these are all amulets, Neville gave them to everyone!” Harry said, pointing to the items on the table.

"Amulets? I told you you needed these! Here you go!" Jerry said, pulling a handful of various amulets from his pocket. These were all given to him this morning by girls from different colleges.

"So much! Jerry, how much did you spend? Why did you buy so much? Will it even be useful?"

The group looked at Jerry, who was still pulling out amulets, and asked in surprise.

"Money? What money! These things cost money? Who would buy these things?"

Neville: ( ̄(エ) ̄)?

"Jerry, this is a family talisman that I specially asked my father for. It's for you!"

Just as the group was wondering where Jerry got so many things, a tall Slytherin girl came over and gave him the amulet.

"Thank you, senior!" Another senior student, whose face Jerry recognized but whose name he couldn't recall, presented him with a talisman.

There's nothing I can do, Jerry has a bit of face blindness!

Seeing this, the people sitting nearby finally understood why Jerry had so many amulets!

Harry: "..."

Ron: "..."

Nawi: w(?Д?)w

Hermione: "Hmph!"

Chapter 109 No matter how funny it is, we won't laugh unless we can't help it!

The matter of the amulets could not ultimately be kept from the professors. Especially after they learned that someone was trying to sell the amulets, they took strict measures to crack down on it.

During dinner, Professor Dumbledore specifically mentioned this incident in the dining hall to calm the students' panic caused by the previous attack.

Therefore, the trend of wearing amulets quickly faded away after it had just begun, and the students of Hogwarts returned to their usual lives, except for Hermione!

These past few days, every time Jerry saw Hermione, she was whispering to her roommates, and he couldn't tell what they were talking about.

"Are you alright? What were you talking about with Parvati and the others just now?"

On the long table in the hall, Jerry waved his hand in front of Hermione, who was somewhat dazed.

"It's nothing, I just don't quite understand some things, so I'm asking Parvati and the others!"

"Are you sure it was you who asked them, and not the other way around?" Jerry looked at Hermione with suspicion.

Although Parvati and the others weren't exactly "professors, noobs, no mediocres!", their grades were far behind Hermione's, the exam queen.

"Don't worry about it! It's Professor Snape's class later, don't be late!" Hermione's expression softened slightly, then she pushed Jerry towards the Potions classroom.

As the two entered the corridor one after the other, they encountered Harry and his friends, who were arguing with Filch.
