"You don't need to know all that. Just know that he is the one chosen by Lord Grindelwald!"

Chapter 75 Hibiscus Delacour

Place Furstenberg is a small square located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It may seem unremarkable, but the headquarters of the French Ministry of Magic is located underground in this square.

A Ministry of Magic staff member stands at the Wallace Fountain in the center of the plaza, coughs twice, and the surrounding tree roots rise from the ground, forming a birdcage elevator around the visitor, leading to the underground Ministry of Magic headquarters.

Inside a Muggle café not far from the square, Jerry cast a Muggle-repelling spell on himself and sat there for the entire day. Through the glass, he observed the staff coming and going at the entrance to the Ministry of Magic.

Jerry also met Vincent Martin, the target, but the old man was too cowardly. Whenever he left the Ministry of Magic, he was always accompanied by three or four Aurors.

Jerry had been secretly observing him here for three days, and he hadn't seen the other man ever alone! Every time he appeared, there was always a group of people following behind him!

Jerry didn't even have a chance to launch a sneak attack!

Are we going to infiltrate the Ministry of Magic and do something?

The idea flashed through Jerry's mind, but he quickly dismissed it.

Even if he managed to deal with that old man Vincent Martin, he'd have nowhere to escape. The French Ministry of Magic forbids the use of the Transmutation Charm, and Jerry didn't want to put himself in danger for Vincent Martin.

Over the course of three days, Jerry considered other wicked ideas, such as poisoning, but he rejected them all. Poison was easy to come by, but Jerry was having trouble even getting close to his target, let alone poisoning him.

Last night, Jerry, disguised as Blackwing, secretly met with the Apostle's head in Paris, France, and learned that the French Ministry of Magic has its own people infiltrated within it. It's not impossible to have the Apostle do the poisoning!

The UMNO members were also a headache for Jerry; although they respected him, it was entirely because of Grindelwald.

If Jerry chooses to use his position to exert pressure, he might be able to get them to work for him, but this would be completely contrary to Jerry's original intentions.

Jerry's ultimate goal in coming to Paris is the Malay Party! Even if he can't get them to treat him the way they treated Grindelwald, he wants them to genuinely acknowledge and respect him, not just respect his identity!

Around noon, Jerry was about to leave when a girl with silver hair and bright blue eyes, who looked no older than Jerry, followed a young woman who resembled her into the store.

Jerry instantly sensed the magical energy emanating from them; they were clearly wizards as well.

After glancing up at the two of them, Jerry was somewhat dazed and lost in thought. Then, his body instinctively sent out a warning signal, instantly bringing him back to his senses.

Veela bloodline?

The other party also noticed Jerry, but they were clearly surprised by his reaction.

"Hello, little brother, let me introduce myself. I'm Fleur Delacour, and this is my aunt." Fleur Delacour walked over and introduced herself, "Are you a wizard too?"

Little brother?

What kind of address is this? This is the first time anyone has called Jerry like this. At Hogwarts, even the group of upperclasswoman hooligans from Slytherin would respectfully address Jerry as Mr. Green!

After saying that, Hibiscus even tried to pinch Jerry's cheek. Jerry hated this witch who had no sense of propriety!

“Jerry Green, a Hogwarts student,” Jerry said after dodging the other man’s groping hand.

Jerry had originally planned to use Neville's name, but he recognized her as Fleur Delacour, the representative of Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Triwizard Tournament.

"Hibiscus Delacour, Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You're a junior wizard from England? What brings you to France?"

"Just traveling in France with my grandfather!"

"Interesting. How did you do that?" Fleur asked curiously. "I have Veela blood, yet you weren't affected?"

When Furong was in school, all the male classmates were influenced by her bloodline and would stare at her like silly donkeys, laughing. This was the first time she had met a peer who was not influenced by her bloodline!

Jerry: "..."

Of course, it's because I am an ambitious young man with ideals and aspirations, how could I possibly be obsessed with beauty!

The two hadn't been chatting for long when a young man walked in from outside, smiling broadly as he began to chat with Furong's aunt.

He looks familiar, but I'm not sure. Let me take another look! Jerry thought to himself, looking at the other person's fawning manner.

"My aunt and I are going to visit the Ministry of Magic later. Do you want to come with us?" She had finally met a man who wasn't affected by her bloodline, so how could she let him go so easily!

Hearing Fleur's words, Jerry was somewhat surprised. Did the French Ministry of Magic offer such a service? Did they charge an entrance fee?

"See that guy talking to my aunt?" Fleur pointed to the young man who had just come in. "He's an Auror from the Ministry of Magic, and he's pursuing my aunt! We'll go inside the Ministry of Magic with him for a visit later."

This is like a pillow delivered just when you're sleepy! No wonder Jerry thought the other person looked familiar; it turns out it's Brother Boiling Sheep!

Seeing Furong staring intently at his face, looking expectant and even eager, Jerry sighed inwardly. It seemed he would have to make a sacrifice today.

I did all this just to complete the task!

"Can I go in and visit too?" Jerry asked with an innocent look on his face.

"Of course, I'll go tell my aunt!" After saying that, she pulled Jerry and walked towards her aunt.

"Auntie, this is my friend. Can he come with us later?"

"Is Ross okay?" Aunt Furong asked the young man.

"Of course!" Young Ross glanced at Jerry, and after realizing he was just a little kid, he didn't pay much attention. What was he going to do, burn down the Ministry of Magic?

He patted his chest and agreed. His goddess had spoken; he certainly couldn't let her down.

Even if he were told right now that the other person was his goddess's child, he... he would still accept it!

"Just as I expected!" Jerry thought to himself with delight as he looked at Ross.

"Sir, are you really an Auror? That's amazing!" Jerry looked at Ross and said in a deliberately admiring tone, "My childhood dream was to grow up to be a righteous Auror who fights evil and eliminates dark wizards!"

Hearing Jerry's flattery, especially in front of his goddess, Ross puffed out his chest and said with considerable pride, "Of course, but becoming an Auror isn't easy..."

As he spoke, he secretly observed Aunt Furong's expression. When he saw her smiling at him, he became even more excited, and his gaze towards Jerry became even more affectionate.

Chapter 76 Do you want to live or die?

Jerry and the others followed Ross into the main hall of the Ministry of Magic headquarters, which had a dome and was decorated with constellation patterns on the arched ceiling.

The constellation patterns on the ceiling of the main hall are all in the shape of magical creatures, including the horned beast, the invisible beast, the moon-obsessed beast, the harpy, the fire dragon, the motra rat, the niffy, the hippogriff, and the chameleon.

The walls here are constructed of Art Nouveau glass and green steel frames. Behind one of the walls is a heavy bronze reception desk, while in the center of the room are rows of gold and green filing cabinets, each drawer individually numbered.

As soon as the group entered, a receptionist in the main hall came over and asked them the purpose of their visit.

After exchanging a few words with the receptionist, Ross and his group were allowed to enter the internal work area.

The Sorcerers and the Apostles had already given Jerry the internal layout of the French Ministry of Magic, so he knew the division of labor on each floor. But now that he had the opportunity to come in and visit in person, he was not going to let it go.

The Department of Mysteries is located at the lowest level of the Ministry of Magic, above which are the Aurors' offices.

The corridors here are decorated with portraits of people, which will change to the intruder's portrait when someone is detected breaking in, and an alarm will sound in the corridor.

This is going to be tough! Jerry thought to himself.

"This is where we Aurors usually work!"

Jerry followed Ross to the Auror's office, carefully observing his surroundings while feigning an expression of longing, admiration, and worship.

"Ross, who are these people?"

"Let me introduce you. This is Vincent Martin, the head of the Auror office at our Ministry of Magic."

Upon seeing the portly Vincent Martin, Ross quickly exclaimed, "He's the pride of our French Ministry of Magic's Aurors!"

Upon meeting his target, Jerry felt a pang of regret, wishing he weren't at the Ministry of Magic at that moment.

"Sir, I saw you in the newspaper a few days ago!" Although he really wanted to get to the bottom of the matter, Jerry still pretended to be an admirer and said, "The newspaper said you're a hero!"

Seeing the adoration in Jerry's eyes, Vincent Martin burst into laughter, completely unguarded. Perhaps he thought that since the other person was in the Ministry of Magic, or perhaps he thought that the other person was too young to pose any threat to him!

"Sir, is it really that difficult to become an Auror?"

"Becoming an Auror, especially an excellent one, is no easy feat. It requires not only great strength but also loyalty and fearless courage, especially the courage to sacrifice!" Vincent Martin spoke eloquently to the crowd, spouting all sorts of inspirational platitudes.

No wonder you became the Auror Director just five years after surrendering!

Of course, while listening to Vincent Martin's motivational speeches, Jerry would occasionally chime in with a few words of praise. In fact, later on, Jerry and Vincent Martin became increasingly compatible.

“Jerry, I have high hopes for you. I believe you will become an outstanding Auror in the future!” Vincent Martin patted Jerry on the shoulder, his eyes full of admiration.

"After you graduate, don't go to the British Ministry of Magic. Come directly to France to find me, and I'll personally guide you!"

"Thank you so much, Mr. Martin! From now on, you will be my idol, and I will strive to become an Auror like you!"

……

In the evening, after visiting the French Ministry of Magic, Jerry and his friends returned to the main hall.

"Jerry, when we get back I'll write you letters by owl, remember to reply!"

Watching Jerry's departing figure, Fleur said loudly.

"What's wrong, darling? You've taken a fancy to this little wizard?" Aunt Furong teased from the side.

“No, I’m just curious!” Fleur shook her head and said, “Auntie, I always feel that he’s strange? And he doesn’t seem to be affected by Veela blood at all!”

"What's so strange about that? You can tell just by looking into his eyes that the little guy definitely has some kind of special bloodline!"

……

As night falls, the stars in the sky twinkle faintly, and the moon hangs high in the sky, casting a silvery glow.

Inside a luxurious room at St. St. Manor, Jerry carefully preserved a few strands of gray hair.

This is Vincent Martin's hair, and it's Jerry's biggest find today.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

There was a knock on the door.

Jerry got up and opened the door. Ms. Rozier was standing in the doorway with a package in her hand.

“Here are the materials you requested,” Rozier said after handing the items to Jerry. “There’s a room for alchemy and potion-making at the back of the manor, near the mountain. You can work there if you need to.”

“I understand, Mrs. Rozier. There’s one more thing. Could you please ask the others for me whether Vincent Martin is dead or alive?” Jerry said with a smile, as if he were talking about something trivial and insignificant.

Rozier glanced at Jerry with surprise. "It doesn't matter, as long as you can complete the mission."

After saying that, he turned around and left.

In the first-floor reception room, Abernathy and the others saw Rozier enter and asked, "That little guy has been sitting at the entrance of the Department of Magic for three days. Has he said anything?"
