Hogwarts: I will never become the Dark Lord

"Child, the past is not important, what matters is the present!"

Hearing Dumbledore's inspirational words, Jerry understood everything. He wasn't too upset, just a little angry that he hadn't noticed anything amiss all these years.

"Could you tell me the name of the other organization? Also, why are they always targeting me?"

Dumbledore said, "Apostles, their name is Apostles! As for why they are looking for you, we don't know."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's reply, Jerry carefully searched his memory for anything about the Apostles, but to no avail.

Unwilling to give up, Jerry asked again, "Headmaster, is there any other news?"

"I'm sorry, Jerry, there are some things we can't tell you right now!"

Jerry: "..."

Jerry vowed that if he ever became the headmaster of Hogwarts, he would establish a rule: Riddlers are forbidden from entering Hogwarts!

If it weren't for his limited abilities, Jerry would definitely have turned into a crow and flipped the table.

Seeing Jerry's hesitant expression, Dumbledore said, "Don't worry, Jerry! They're clearly trying to win you over, so you're safe right now!"

"So, you want me to be the bait?"

As soon as Jerry finished speaking, he sensed something was wrong. Dumbledore wasn't just trying to use himself as bait; he had been using himself as bait all along!

Looking at Dumbledore's friendly smile, Jerry thought for a moment and decided against it. He was born in '81, so it was normal that he couldn't beat him.

"Here's a notebook for you, it's a Christmas present from Gellert. Now you should go back to your dorm and rest!"

After seeing Jerry out of the office, Grindelwald emerged from the darkness and said, "Albus, why did you give my notebook to Jerry? Didn't we agree to give it back to him in a few years?"

Looking at Grindelwald, Dumbledore said, "It will be handed over to him sooner or later!"

"Aren't you worried that Jerry will become addicted to dark magic?"

Dumbledore shook his head and said with a smile, "Do you know what the biggest difference is between Jerry and Voldemort? It's pride."

"Sometimes having excessive ambition and pride is a good thing; you pursue power, but you will never submit to it!"

"And, Gellert, don't forget that I know just as much dark magic as you do!"

Standing outside the principal's office, Jerry was bewildered as he looked at the tightly closed door. Hadn't Dumbledore said he wanted to have a proper talk with him? Why was he kicked out after only a few words?

However, tonight wasn't entirely fruitless. The most important thing was the notebook in his hand; Jerry was really looking forward to seeing what kind of magic it contained!

Back in the Slytherin common room, everyone was surprised to see Jerry's drastically changed appearance.

Upon seeing Jerry, Malfoy, amidst the surprised gazes of the others, stepped forward to greet him: "Jerry, is it really you? Your...your hair..."

"Draco, good evening!"

Looking at Jerry's darkened appearance, Malfoy recalled what happened on the train, swallowed hard, and said, "Good evening!"

"Jerry, where have you been these past few days? I haven't seen you around. Also, well... I had a little conflict with Miss Granger and the others a few days ago."

"But Jerry, don't worry, it really was just a minor conflict!"

Malfoy was also afraid Hermione would tell Jerry! After all, Jerry was really... really ruthless and had a powerful wand!

Seeing that Malfoy seemed a little scared of him, Jerry patted him on the shoulder and said, "I won't interfere in what happens between you and Harry. After all, you're both my friends, aren't you?"

Upon hearing Jerry's words, Malfoy breathed a sigh of relief and nodded repeatedly. He understood what Jerry meant; as long as he didn't cause trouble for Granger, everything would be fine.

Jerry glanced around at the kids in the lounge. There were far fewer unfriendly glances than usual, and a few female students were even looking at him with a somewhat intense gaze. It seemed the train incident had had quite a impact on them.

Indeed, the Slytherin group does have some redeeming qualities; they know how to bow their heads when facing the strong.

Back in his dorm room, Jerry quickly put his luggage away and then eagerly opened Grindelwald's laptop.

Wow! Jerry had expected the notebook to be full of dark magic, but he never imagined the very first page would be filled with such a huge one!

Fiendfyre

Jerry remembered that Crabbe used it in the original story, and its power was terrifying, almost wiping out the entire main cast! Crabbe himself also died under this curse.

Jerry suppressed the urge to practice immediately and flipped the notebook back to the front.

Jerry strongly suspected that he had met Grindelwald today, not Dumbledore!

Are these two old men playing a role-playing game?

Ignoring the three unforgivable curses, Jerry continued flipping through the notebook, and on the last few pages, he finally found the curse he had been waiting for.

Fire Shield (Protego Diabolica)

Jerry also has the surname Grindelwald, so how could he not know the magic of the gas stove (fire shield)?

The essence of the Fire Shield spell is inseparable from the Fiendfyre spell, only that it was modified by Gellert Grindelwald.

Gellert Grindelwald is a real genius. Jerry saw the shadows of at least three other spells in the Fire Shield spell, including the high-level spell, the Faithful Charm!

The Fiery Blaze and Fire Shield spells are just too tempting; Jerry definitely wants to learn them, but the question is where he'll master them.

The good news is that all curses will end; the bad news is that the Fiery Curse and the Fire Shield will come to an end.

Never mind, I'll learn the Curse of Destruction first, then the Fiendfyre and Fire Shield. I'll practice with the ebony wand. If anything really goes wrong, I'll pin the blame on Gellert Grindelwald—he's the one who did it all!

Hmph! What does your arrest of Gellert Grindelwald have to do with me, Jerry Green!

The next day, Jerry got up early and went to the Great Hall of Hogwarts to wait for Hermione. He felt bad for standing her up and making her worry for so many days.

School is not a place where secrets can be hidden.

Although Jerry wasn't as popular and well-known as Harry due to some past events, he was still a household name.

So when Jerry entered the hall, almost all the students from the other houses, except for the Slytherin students they had met the night before, couldn't help but stare at him with surprise at his drastically changed appearance and demeanor.

Parvati Petil walked over and tentatively asked, "Jerry?"

"Of course it's me! Good morning, Parvati!"

Jerry greeted Parvati Petil, but seeing her staring blankly at him, Jerry waved in front of her and asked, "Parvati, are you alright?"

Realizing she had been a bit out of line, Parvati blushed slightly and said, "Jerry, it really is you! How come your hair has turned black?"

"It's nothing, I just dyed my hair with magic, does it look bad?"

"No, I'm just a little surprised!"

Jerry asked, "Is Hermione still in the Gryffindor common room? Could you call her for me?"

Upon hearing Jerry's words, Parvati said, "Wait a minute, I'll go call Hermione right away."

……

In the Gryffindor girls' dormitory, morning sunlight streamed through the windows. Hermione, who had just gotten up, sat at her desk, listlessly organizing her books.

Suddenly, the door was pushed open, and Parvati rushed in. She called out breathlessly, "Hermione! Hermione! Jerry's back!"

"Jerry really is back. He's in the lobby. He sent me to find you!"

Upon hearing this news, Hermione's heart raced. Eager to confirm its veracity, she asked, "Are you sure? Are you sure Jerry sent you to find me?"

“Of course I’m sure!” Parvati replied confidently. “Jerry told me to tell you that he’s waiting for you in the lobby; he wants to meet you.”

After confirming the answer, Hermione was so excited that she turned around and rushed towards the hall.

Parvati grabbed Hermione as she turned around and said with concern, "Wait, darling, look at the state you're in!"

Hermione stopped and looked down at herself. She realized she was still in her pajamas, her hair a mess, and clearly not ready to meet anyone. She smiled sheepishly and said, "I was so flustered, thank you for reminding me."

Parvati couldn't help but laugh at Hermione's expression. She pulled Hermione back to the dormitory and said, "It's okay, darling, we still have time. Go wash up first, I'll help you get ready."

With Parvati's help, Hermione quickly got herself ready, putting on a neat school uniform and getting a nice hairstyle.

As Hermione stepped out of the Gryffindor common room, she saw Jerry standing quietly in a corner of the corridor not far away, waiting for her.

Chapter 56 Hehe, here comes the chicken soup!

"Jerry!" Hermione exclaimed excitedly, her voice filled with joy and excitement.

"Hermione, you're finally here!" Jerry said with a smile, his face beaming. "I've been waiting for you."

Hearing Jerry's words, Hermione's eyes welled up with tears. She ran over quickly and hugged Jerry tightly.

"Jerry, you're finally back!"

Jerry gently patted Hermione's back and whispered comfortingly, "I'm sorry, Hermione, I made you worry!"

Hearing Jerry's words, Hermione felt a surge of excitement and comfort, and tears welled up in her eyes.

Outside the Gryffindor common room, at the corner of the corridor.

Wow! The two of them are hugging!

"She's crying, she's crying, Hermione's crying!"

Parvati Petit and her two other roommates hid by the wall, excitedly watching Jerry and Hermione while whispering amongst themselves.
