Without time to worry about Harry and the others, Jerry immediately transformed into a raven, then shot through the night sky like a black lightning bolt, rushing towards Hermione's direction.

Harry and his friends, standing rooted to the spot, were speechless with shock at what they saw. They stared in disbelief as Jerry transformed into a black raven, flew rapidly toward Hermione, and disappeared into the night.

Jerry flew rapidly past building after building, finally arriving at the toilet door.

Suddenly, he heard Hermione scream. His heart skipped a beat, and he rushed into the bathroom, where he saw a giant waving a wooden club, ready to attack Hermione.

"Sizzle~" Jerry unleashed a dark red bolt of lightning from his wings without hesitation, instantly repelling the giant.

Jerry quickly flew to Hermione's side, glanced at her briefly, and finally relaxed.

Fortunately, Hermione was not hurt.

After being repelled, the giant got up, gripped the wooden club in its hand, and prepared to attack him and Hermione again.

Seeing this, Jerry flapped his wings and reminded Hermione behind him, "Get down quickly!" Then, he quickly adjusted his posture to prepare for the troll's attack.

Hermione was also startled by the situation. She didn't know what had happened, only that a raven had suddenly appeared and saved her.

The weirdest thing is that this raven can actually talk, and its voice is exactly the same as Jerry's!

Without time to think too much, after doing as Raven Jerry instructed, I saw dark red lightning whipping wildly overhead, centered on the raven.

Each flash of electricity carried immense power, and the giant that was struck howled in agony, its wounds charred black.

Seeing that it was no match for them, the troll didn't try to escape. Instead, it tried to charge at the two of them while enduring the damage. It can only be said that it has the brains of a troll.

Seeing this, Jerry decided not to tolerate it and would send it on its way if it wanted to die.

Jerry sneered, then his wings flapped violently in the void, and dark red lightning burst forth instantly, the energy field almost enveloping the entire room.

Then, Jerry flapped his wings at the giant, and instantly, lightning transformed into a storm that violently rushed towards the giant.

The giant was sent flying by the powerful energy released by Jerry, his body slamming heavily against the wall behind him, causing a violent tremor. His skin and muscles were charred black by the impact of the energy, and he then passed out.

Jerry was also in a bad state, collapsing to the ground, his magic power completely drained!

Hermione, huddled in the corner, watched the raven disappear. Then, as soon as Jerry appeared, she threw herself into his arms, almost knocking him over. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.

Jerry gently patted Hermione on the back, comforting her in a tender voice.

"Jerry, Hermione, are you two alright?"

Not long after, Harry, Ron, and Neville rushed in from outside.

Hermione wiped away her tears, helped Jerry up from the ground, and asked, "How did you get here?"

Harry and the others said somewhat embarrassedly, "We were worried that something might happen to you two, so we sneaked over here!"

“I’m sorry, Hermione. I apologize for what happened this morning. I shouldn’t have said that. You and Jerry are both our friends.”

Hearing what they said, Hermione didn't argue with them, and her anger gradually subsided. She said, "I'm not that petty! Jerry is injured, and I'm going to take him to the school clinic."

"I'm fine, I just used up too much magic," Jerry said, patting Hermione's hand.

"My God! You killed Jerry the Troll?! But this smells awful!"

Ron and Neville arrived at the charred giant and exclaimed in shock.

Jerry was also having a headache. Looking at the charred walls around him, he didn't know how to explain it to the professors later. After all, this scene didn't seem like something a young wizard could do.

Before the group could even emerge from the restroom, a series of hurried footsteps echoed down the hallway outside.

A moment later, Professor McGonagall rushed into the bathroom first, followed closely by Snape.

The two breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Jerry and the others were unharmed.

Then Snape went to examine the troll, while Professor McGonagall said seriously, "Do you know what you're doing?"

"Why don't you listen to the professors? Do you know how dangerous this is?"

“I’m sorry, Professor McGonagall, they’re all here for me. I’ve read about trolls in books and thought I could handle it.”

Professor McGonagall was about to criticize Hermione when Snape interrupted her: "Professor McGonagall, I think you should come and see the trolls first!"

"This, how is this possible!"

After hearing Snape's words, Professor McGonagall turned around and glanced at the troll's appearance. It was charred black, oozing pus and blood, and lay dead against the wall.

After coming out of the bathroom, Harry said, "I can't believe we weren't punished and even got extra points for the house! But I think Jerry should get extra points, since we didn't do anything!"

Jerry shrugged and said, "I don't really care, but I have to thank Snape tonight, otherwise I really wouldn't have known how to explain it."

"It's all my fault, Jerry..."

Seeing Hermione clinging to his arm, Jerry said gently, "I'm so glad you're alright!"

As Jerry whispered in her ear, Hermione lowered her head, a strand of her flowing hair falling gently to cover her shy, blushing cheeks.

"Alright, everyone, we can talk about anything else tomorrow. Tonight, everyone should go back to your dorms!"

Upon hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement and turned to leave.

Hermione, who had only taken a couple of steps, suddenly stopped, turned around, and called out to Jerry.

Then Hermione ran quickly to Jerry, threw herself into his arms, hugged him tightly, and whispered, "Thank you for tonight, Jerry!"

After saying that, Hermione didn't give Jerry time to react and quickly turned around and ran back to her dormitory.

"Severus, we still don't understand why you let them leave."

After Jerry and the others left, Professor McGonagall asked curiously.

Snape shook his head and said, "Minerva, Dumbledore will be here soon. Let him handle this."

Not long after, Dumbledore strode in.

After examining the troll's condition, Dumbledore looked around at the devastation and asked Snape and Professor McGonagall, "Who did all this?"

Professor McGonagall shook her head, while Snape said in a somber tone, "Albus, who else do you think it could be?"

After hearing Snape's words, Dumbledore remained silent for a moment before saying, "Minerva, calm the students down first! Then call Flitwick to the headmaster's office."

Professor McGonagall nodded, picked up her wand, and began restoring the surrounding objects. Snape, meanwhile, followed Dumbledore to the Headmaster's office.

Upon entering the headmaster's office, Snape said in a mocking tone, "Look at you, Albus, no wonder you valued this student so much, how impressive you are!"

"But Jerry was also trying to save his friend, Severus!"

Snape roared, "But he's almost out of control too, isn't he?"

In response to Snape's questioning, Dumbledore replied, "Calm down, Severus. You know he wouldn't, otherwise you wouldn't have helped Jerry get away in the bathroom, would you?"

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Snape said, "I don't care what your relationship is with Jerry Green, but you promised me you'd protect Harry!"

“I have never forgotten my promise to you, Severus.”

"But what about Quirrell? Albus, don't tell me you're senile and think Quirrell is fine!"

Dumbledore shook his head and said, "Of course I know Quirrell is problematic, and I even know he's a Death Eater."

“Severus, I know what you mean, but sometimes reality is just so helpless. There are just too many mysteries surrounding us right now.”

"Severus, do you know that I wake up from nightmares every night? I am not afraid of death, because to me, death is just the beginning of another adventure."

"However, I am truly terrified of those dreams filled with blood and fire! Whenever I see such scenes, I feel immense fear."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, Snape fell silent.

Before long, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick arrived at the principal's office.

Snape did not answer Professor McGonagall's question, but instead gave Dumbledore a cold laugh.
