"You two traitors, stop spouting nonsense!"

"How could I possibly lose to Osiris the Red's lousy student!"

"Listen up, sir! Everything is going according to my plan!"

"I'll show you in a bit!"

Manjōme turned to look at his two henchmen behind him and vented his anger on them.

Seeing this, Yusei simply shrugged.

Well, the duel isn't over yet, and they've already started fighting amongst themselves.

Summoning Beasts Deck, as a common add-on system.

It can be found in almost every deck.

Just like the 6-attribute Elemental Hero Fusion Monsters used by Yusei.

Aleister can fuse with almost any monster and then summon monsters of six different attributes.

The Aleister Staff can be seen on each of the summoned beasts.

This means that these monsters summoned from another dimension are all under Aleister's control.

The Light-attribute Summon Merkaba is shaped like a giant, conjoined armored vehicle with a staff visible on its head. Its effect is to negate and banish cards activated by the opponent, giving it powerful suppressive capabilities.

The Dark-attribute summon Caligula is a beastman-like demon with Aleister's staff stuck in its back. This ability limits the activation of monster effects and the number of attacks to once per turn.

The Wind-attribute summon, Lightning, is depicted as a silver-armored knight wielding a golden lightning blade and wearing a blue cloak, with his staff strapped to his back. Its effect allows it to forcibly change any card on the opponent's field to face-down defense position at any time, and can be activated during the opponent's turn, causing significant disruption to their strategy.

The Earth-attribute summon, Mevaraniga, is depicted as a giant carrying an entire continent on its back, possessing the largest size among summons. A staff gleaming with green light can be seen on its massive left arm. Although this summon itself has no effects, it boasts the strongest attack and defense among all six elemental summons.

The FIRE-attribute summon, Pulgaterio, is shaped like multiple fire demons, with staves visible on various parts of their bodies. It can attack each of the opponent's monsters once, and has a piercing effect, dealing damage to the opponent's LP even if the monsters are in Defense Position.

The Water-attribute Summoned Beast, Kokutos, is a giant blue dragon monster featured in the Summoning Magic card art. Aleister's Staff of Light is embedded in its chest. It cannot be targeted by opponent's card effects, nor can it be destroyed by card effects, and it can attack in Defense Position.

Besides these six types of summoned beasts, there are other types of summoned beasts, which will be explained later.

Yusei had seen the Summoning Beasts series many times in his original world, and he was already very familiar with the related tactical ideas.

In this world, you can see virtual images generated by Duel Monsters during duels.

This was the first time he had ever seen a summoned beast appear.

Despite his calm expression, Yusei was actually having some doubts.

Summoning Merkaba, isn't that a bit too much...?

This card can be used to fight the final boss without any problems.

Now it's being used to torture and kill Manjoume, who hasn't even grown up yet.

It feels like using a planet-destroying cannon to shoot a mosquito—a complete waste...

"Well... never mind."

Yusei thought about it for a moment and quickly came to terms with it.

Since we've already summoned them, there's no point in thinking about it now.

(PS: There will be another chapter later, and we are currently working on the scene of the light vehicle's appearance...)

Chapter 064 The Light Chariot Arrives! (Third Update)

Thanks to the facilities and equipment at the Duel Academy, the special effects experienced during duels are completely different from those when using the Duel Disk alone.

Those present could even feel the powerful pressure emanating from the blue magic circle floating in mid-air!

It was as if some incredibly ferocious ancient beast was about to break free from its seal and devour the entire world!

That Yusei guy! He actually plans to summon such a terrifying monster in a mere freshman battle!

"Hexagonal servants, divine chariots galloping across the gray fog wilderness, descend guided by the magic circle!"

"Fusion Summon! [Summoned Beast: Merkaba]!"

"Roar!!!"

As Yusei's voice faded, a massive beast head, its head encased in a silver horned helmet, emerged from the magic circle.

A deafening roar erupted from the beast's mouth.

On the armor on the giant beast's head, a bluish-white light can be seen.

The source of that light was none other than the magic staff that Aleister had been holding.

Through a magical summoning ritual, Aleister has formed a pact with a monster from another world, becoming one with it.

Following the head of the behemoth were a pair of enormous forelimbs covered in heavy silver armor.

The mere sight of its upper body emerging from the magic circle was enough to intimidate everyone present; it was hard to imagine what it would be like once the monster fully revealed its true form.

After a brief standoff, the giant beast roared and charged out of the magic circle.

The blue magic circle in the sky quickly disappeared after the giant beast appeared in this world.

At this moment, the red light generated by the red magic circle beneath Yusei and Manjoume's feet also reverted to its previous state of red mist.

After speeding through the air for several circles, the giant beast crashed down in front of Yusei.

Its arrival generated extremely strong wind pressure on the field.

Affected by the wind pressure, everyone couldn't help but close their eyes and cross their arms to protect their faces.

Obelisk Blue and Osiris Red were no different at this moment; both were ants trembling under the pressure of the behemoth.

They were all trying to keep their bodies steady so as not to be blown away by the strong wind.

Yusei, who was closest to the center of the wind pressure, stared motionlessly at the summoned beast Merkaba in front of him, letting the wind pressure blow his hair and the hem of his red uniform.

As the master of the summoned beast, Merkaba naturally wouldn't allow Yusei to be affected too much.

On the other hand, Manjoume didn't receive the same treatment as Yusei.

As Yusei's opponent, he had no choice but to face the immense pressure from Merkaba head-on.

Wan Zhangmu lowered his body, trying his best to steady himself.

At that moment, he had already exhausted all his strength just to force himself to calm down.

Where is their previous arrogant demeanor now...

-

Once the storm subsided, everyone was able to clearly see the appearance of the summoned beast, Merkaba.

Merkaba's body was far too large for the dueling arena; its size alone occupied almost a third of the giant arena.

Merkaba's appearance is that of an ancient chariot being pulled by a giant beast, with silver-armored knights wielding swords and shields on the chariot.

Yusei always thought that Merkaba was two monsters, with the chariot below and the knight above being separate.

Now that he saw the virtual image of Merkaba, he realized that this monster was similar to a centaur, with its upper and lower body as one.

"What is the origin of this monster?"

Manjoume used his left hand, which held the Duel Disk, to protect his head, stared at Merkaba opposite him, and asked Yusei, his opponent, in a hoarse voice.

"All I can say is that it is a powerful monster that you absolutely cannot defeat right now." Yusei glanced at Manjoume, then couldn't help but walk up to Merkaba, reach out and touch Merkaba's huge beast head.

Even though it should just be a virtual image, Yusei can feel a tangible touch.

This is such an unbelievable thing.

He could only blame the ground beneath his feet.

Hmm... When in doubt, quantum mechanics!

[Summoned Beast: Merkaba]

(Mechanical/Light/9-star/Attack 2500/Defense 2100)

Fusion Material: [Summoner Aleister] + Light Attribute Monster

Effect: Once per turn, when a monster's effect, spell, or trap card is activated, you can send 1 card of the same type from your hand to the Graveyard to activate this effect; negate that activation and banish it.

It's convenient and easy to produce, and the results are simple and straightforward.

In one turn, you can remove one of your opponent's cards directly from the game without sending it to the graveyard.

If the timing of the effect activation is well-timed, it can directly disrupt the opponent's strategy.

……

"I activate the second effect of the Spell Card [Summoning Magic] in my Graveyard, returning this card from the Graveyard to the Deck. At this point, I can choose one of the banished [Summoner Aleister] cards to add to my hand."

The indicator light on the Duel Disk lit up, and a Summoning Spell automatically popped out from the graveyard.

Yusei added this card to his deck, and then the deck was automatically shuffled.

He took the [Summoner Aleister] card, which he had just banished as material, from his pocket and showed it to Manjoume opposite him, then added the card to his hand.

"You can do that???" Jaden, the card king, looked at Yusei's move with a shocked expression.
