The second week of school was for Gryffindor and Slytherin flying lessons. Hinata Hoshino, who had not taken the first-year flying lessons, was assigned to the first-year Gryffindor flying lessons.

Hinata Hoshino had his left hand on Neville's shoulder with a malicious expression, a scene straight out of a school movie set in the 1980s.

Neville looked at Hyuga Hoshino with hopeful eyes, as if Hyuga Hoshino were his savior.

"Navie, I promised to teach you some cool stuff, are you in or not?"

Neville recalled the scene on the train where Hinata Hoshino chased away Draco and his two henchmen, and nodded vigorously.

"I can learn, but I'm not smart enough to learn it."

"No problem, I'll teach you until you learn."

"Hoshino, you're such a kind person."

Having received the "friend zone" card, Hinata Hoshino flashed a bright white smile, gave a thumbs-up, and said, "This is youth."

Exclamations rang out. Harry Potter and Draco, having gotten into some kind of conflict, had already mounted their brooms and started an aerial chase.

Hermione hurried over and pointed to the two people drawing "S" and "B" in the air.

"Zhang Xian..."

Hermione, seeing Hinata Hoshino raise an eyebrow, changed her mind.

"Hoshino, please help them."

Hinata Hoshino nodded.

"Navie, have you forgotten something?"

"Me? Neville remembered to check the memory orb, and then discovered it was gone."

Hinata Hoshino scratched his head, thinking to himself, "This forgetfulness is quite something."

Neville pointed to what Malfoy was holding, and upon looking at it, he recognized it as something very familiar.

"My memory ball."

Neville, the real owner, had no idea; they were playing a game of "two dragons playing with a pearl" with the Memory Ball.

Hermione unconsciously patted her forehead, thinking Neville knew why they had gotten into a fight.

Professor McGonagall was giving a lesson when she looked up and saw Harry Potter and Draco flying past the window on broomsticks. She initially thought it was just catnip.

Peeking out the window, I saw that Draco was flying quite dangerously, while Harry Potter was handling it with ease.

Professor McGonagall sighed at her own age, often thinking of her former student, James Potter. It was a pity that Harry Potter only inherited the talent for flying, not the talent for Transfiguration.

Seeing Harry Potter handling the situation with ease, Draco didn't drop the Memory Ball; instead, he turned and rushed towards Harry Potter.

This scene can be described as Leo rushing towards a Jeep without brakes, a mistake in operation, resulting in his immediate death.

Hermione stared intently at Hyuga Hoshino, who shrugged helplessly and unleashed the Peacock Technique, which he had never used before.

“Navie, watch closely, this is what you are about to learn.”

The chakra transformed into two Eastern dragons, one on the left and one on the right, swallowing Draco and Harry Potter. The chakra served as a buffer, dissipating the impact caused by inertia on the two.

The Eastern Divine Dragon led the two back to the ground. As for their brooms, Hyuga Hoshino could only apologize, since the two could afford to pay for them.

Nawi gazed at the two Eastern dragons, his eyes brimming with boundless hope. Hyuga Hoshino smiled and tossed the memory orb to Nawi, who frantically caught it.

Mrs. Hodge and Professor McGonagall hurried over. Mrs. Hodge had almost fainted when she heard what had happened on the lawn after encountering Professor McGonagall earlier.

“Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Potter, I simply cannot believe that you have been so brazen after I left.”

“Madam Huo Qi, perhaps I should handle this.”

"I believe Professor McGonagall will handle this fairly and justly."

Since Draco deliberately bumped into Harry Potter, Professor McGonagall will not leave the decision of Draco's punishment to Snape, but will do it herself.

“Harry Potter, Mr. Potter, how dare you, how dare you fool around with Mr. Malfoy without Mrs. Hooch present.”

Professor McGonagall glanced at Draco, who seemed indifferent, even gloating.

“Mr. Malfoy, you are proud. If not, why did you provoke Mr. Potter?”

Draco remained silent. Although Professor McGonagall was dignified, he wasn't a member of Gryphon, and Professor McGonagall was known for her fairness and impartiality. Harry Potter's punishment would certainly be heavier than his own.

He was willing to accept punishment as long as Harry Potter suffered more than him.

Professor McGonagall took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.

“Mr. Malfoy, it is my pleasure to inform you that Slytherin has lost fifty points. Mr. Potter, Gryffindor has lost sixty points. Mrs. Hooch, please take Mr. Malfoy to Professor Snape to decide on the contents of his detention. Mr. Potter, and Mr. Zhang, please come with me.”

Professor McGonagall was curious about what Hinata Hoshino had just done, considering it a high-level application of Transfiguration.

Harry Potter is the hope for Gryffindor to win the Quidditch championship.

Transfiguration and Quidditch were both Professor McGonagall's lifelong passions.

Harry Potter was a little dizzy when he left Professor McGonagall's office. He had been granted special permission to participate in Quidditch, a game that was usually open to second-year students.

This is a feeling I've never experienced before, the feeling of being valued, it feels so good.

Harry Potter left, and Professor McGonagall looked at Hyuga Hoshino with excitement.

"Mr. Zhang, was that an application of Transfiguration just now?"

Chapter 109 Neville's Persistence

“No, Professor McGonagall, it’s a secret technique.”

Professor McGonagall was somewhat disappointed after hearing this, but she still chose to inquire about the specifics of the secret technique.

Hinata Hoshino explained the general idea to Professor McGonagall. Professor McGonagall listened and nodded thoughtfully. So this is how magic can be used.

Professor McGonagall told Hinata Hoshino to go ahead, while she herself began experimenting in her office.

It is difficult for a wizard to project his magic outwards, let alone condense it into a complete beast.

Professor McGonagall didn't have any classes in the afternoon. So she locked herself in her office and kept trying.

Persistence pays off. Before dinner began, Professor McGonagall successfully used her magic to conjure an invisible hand and easily lifted the potted plant by the window.

Professor Mack was determined to continue his research. Looking out at the dim sky, he realized that dinner time was approaching, and that Dumbledore was the best Transfiguration master in the entire wizarding world.

Consulting Dumbledore would be a better idea than letting yourself keep thinking; working in isolation is not advisable.

The next morning, Hyuga Hoshino woke Neville. Still half-asleep, Neville followed Hyuga Hoshino to the lawn outside the castle. Hyuga Hoshino gestured for Neville to sit down, his face serious. Neville jolted awake.

"I'll confirm with you one last time. Are you sure you want to learn from me? What I'm going to teach you is different from magic, and you might find it hard to accept."

“Yes, sir, I want to learn from you. I want to become stronger. I don’t want to be the cowardly and incompetent Neville that others talk about anymore.”

Hyuga Hoshino nodded, took out a chakra seed containing Jonin-level chakra, and handed it to Nawi. This was the maximum amount a wizard could withstand, according to Hyuga Hoshino's experimental results.

Hyuga Hoshino examined Neville and found that his physical abilities far surpassed those of his peers, and his mental strength was also considerable. He truly deserves to be the future Gryffindor Sword Saint.

His childhood experiences caused him to close himself off, resulting in poor outward talent. I believe he can withstand this level of chakra; at the very least, he has Hyuga Hoshino by his side to absorb any excess chakra.

"Very good, very energetic. Here, eat it."

Neville promptly took it. As soon as he did, he felt an energy different from magic appear and circulate in his body along a specific route.

Then, Neville felt an unprecedented hunger. Hinata Hoshino took out the meal that the house-elves in the kitchen had prepared.

These are all high-calorie foods, like fried chicken and fried pork cutlets...

Neville's eyes lit up, and he ate voraciously until his hunger subsided. He could hardly believe that he had consumed enough food to feed six people for a day.

"Did I eat all of this?"

"That's right, but don't worry. Your appetite will gradually increase over time, unlike today when it suddenly spiked."

"Sir, when will I be able to release such magical creatures as you did yesterday?"

“Navie, just call me Hoshino. This energy will be released slowly. I will check on the situation every day and adjust your training methods accordingly.”

"Okay, first... Hoshino."

Neville wanted to continue calling him "sir," but when Hinata Hoshino looked at him, Neville immediately changed his address.

"This energy is called chakra, and it comes from the combination of mental and physical energy. So, Nawi, get to training! Start by running a lap around the castle."

Neville wanted to argue, but he didn't have the ability to, yet seeing Hinata Hoshino's encouraging gaze, he gritted his teeth and prepared to persevere.

Watching Neville's departing figure, Hyuga Hoshino began to train his body with magic power, while simultaneously contemplating modifying the magic power training technique to create a chakra body training technique.

Soon, sweat beaded on Hinata Hoshino's forehead, his body temperature soared, and as the sweat evaporated, wisps of white smoke rose from Hinata Hoshino's head.

Dumbledore noticed Hyuga Hoshino's group and reminisced about his youth, studying with Grindelwald, experimenting with magic, and going to his house together—after all, his house was quite large.

What a good child! If he had ambition, he wouldn't be helping his timid classmates like he is now.

Neville, panting heavily, finished a lap, his eyes gleaming with fire.

“Come on, Neville, let’s show some care for the elderly living alone. Don’t stop to rest after your run, walk slowly.”

Neville walked slowly, and Hyuga Hoshino was also in no hurry, walking slowly as well. Neville suddenly remembered Malfoy's provocation of Harry Potter.

Snape was somewhat biased towards Slytherin students, but with Madam Hooch watching over him, Snape still decided to keep Malfoy out of confinement for three days to help process the medicine.

Malfoy left Snape's office, indignant, and just then learned from Ron that Harry Potter had joined the Quidditch selection.

So he began to provoke Harry Potter, and Ron decisively agreed to the wizard duel on Harry Potter's behalf, setting it for after Malfoy's confinement ended.

Neville was standing beside them, wanting to stop them, but ultimately remained silent.

"Hoshino, Malfoy is going to duel Harry Potter in three days."

"Navie, are you going to help?"

"Yes, but my strength..."

"Ha, you really think Draco should go back?"

"You mean, he most wants Harry to get caught for going out at night?"

"Yes, you should. If you want to remind Harry Potter, you'd better hurry, there are only two days left. And he might not even believe you."

At the small cabin by the Forbidden Forest, Hinata Hoshino raised his hand to knock on the door, and Hagrid opened it.

Still half asleep, he hadn't expected a little wizard to visit him at this time.
