As a result, they were stopped by the Fat Lady, and not only the Fat Lady, but also Hufflepuff's barrel and Ravenclaw's bronze doorknob, all of which were locked at the same time.

Slytherins wouldn't be interested in that, so there's no lock; their Slytherin tradition of self-preservation means they'll just observe.

Harry Potter was somewhat disappointed not to see Dumbledore, and it seemed he could only pin his hopes on Hinata Hoshino.

The two left the headmaster's office, and Dumbledore, Flitwick, Sprout, and Snape appeared. The actors were in place.

Hinata Hoshino and Harry Potter left the headmaster's office. Harry Potter pressed his ear against the wall, trying to locate the sound.

They ran into Professor McGonagall. Upon seeing the two of them, Professor McGonagall winked at Hinata Hoshino, who nodded in acknowledgment.

Professor McGonagall suddenly showed anger, like a lioness.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Zhang, please explain why you are not resting in the dormitory."

"Professor, Harry heard the Basilisk's voice."

Professor McGonagall's expression changed, prompting Hinata Hoshino to remark that Hogwarts truly lived up to its reputation as an acting training center.

From the principal to the deans to the students, everyone here is an incredibly good actor.

“Mr. Potter, I must warn you that the Basilisk is a very dangerous magical creature, and please do not assume that you can handle it.”

"Professor, I didn't think about it much, I just wanted to find him..."

"So Mr. Potter was going to fight alone, right?"

Harry Potter was speechless. He had to admit that he really did have this idea, after all, he hadn't found Dumbledore yet.

Even now that he has met Professor McGonagall, and he wants her to go with him, he estimates that she will only tell him to go back to his dorm to rest.

"We professors will handle the Basilisk matter, Mr. Potter. What you need to do now is go back to your dorm and rest. After all, you have classes tomorrow."

Harry Potter nodded, looking like a model student, and pulled Hinata Hoshino along, as if they were about to return to the Gryffindor common room.

Once out of Professor McGonagall's sight, Harry Potter used his Invisibility Cloak to cover the two of them.

“Hoshino, I don’t think we can just sit here and wait to die. If we can’t contact Professor Dumbledore, we should go and see for ourselves.”

Hinata Hoshino remained noncommittal, and was dragged along by Harry Potter, wandering around the entire castle.

Harry Potter arrived at the abandoned bathroom on the second floor, where the sounds of Myrtle's weeping and the Basilisk's voices mingled together, making Harry Potter wait impatiently.

However, he was quite certain that this was the source of the basilisk's voice.

Harry Potter's glasses scanned the bathroom, finally locking onto the snake-shaped faucet. So, in his Parseltongue, he said to the faucet, "Turn it on."

Harry Potter jumped straight down. Just as Hyuga Hoshino was about to jump, Kreacher, the Black family's house-elf, jumped out.

She placed her hand on Hinata Hoshino's shoulder and led him away.

Hyuga Hoshino certainly sensed Kreacher's approach, but he was curious about what Delphi was planning to do, so he let Kreacher easily lur him away.

Before them lay a small lake, with a small boat on its shore. From Hinata Hoshino's Byakugan perspective, the lake was teeming with Infernal corpses. So this was it—the burial ground of Regulus Black, the place where Voldemort's Horcruxes were sealed, and the location of Slytherin's locket.

Kreacher, in theory, wouldn't have mentioned this place on his own initiative.

Because this was Regulus Black's place, which he had asked to keep secret, Delphi probably used the Imperius Curse to control Kreacher, which is why Kreacher brought him here.

However, the countless silver corpses at the bottom of the lake and the stone basin filled with magic potions are spells that Delphi cannot break.

Delphi felt that Hinata Hoshino was an obstacle, so he brought him here, hoping to use the Yin Corpse at the bottom of the lake to kill him.

Hinata Hoshino thought Delphi was being naive; her future self couldn't possibly be unknown, so how could she possibly fail here?

Based on his future memories, Hinata Hoshino did come here, but not now, and certainly not in this way.

Hinata Hoshino sensed Delphi's hidden agenda and his attempt to change the situation.

Hinata Hoshino was destined to come here, but not necessarily in the time of the future memories. In fact, in the future memories, there was no part where Kreacher was controlled by Delphi.

It seems that even memories of the future are becoming unreliable. However, Delphi is truly determined to resurrect Voldemort at any cost.

As Harry Potter landed, the first thing he saw was a huge snake skin, which made him keep backing away and looking down to avoid looking into the snake skin's eyes.

However, the snake's molt is just a snakeskin and doesn't have the ability to move on its own. Harry Potter was not attacked. He cautiously approached the molt, poked it with his wand, and found no reaction. He breathed a sigh of relief.

Chapter 149 Playing House

"Hello, Mr. Hoshino Zhang, the greatest wizard after Dumbledore, the inventor of the Ascendant, the conqueror of death, and the ageless White Devil."

"Oh, I didn't know you were so awesome."

"Extremely painful"

"Curse Stop"

Delphi never expected that when she used the Unforgivable Curse, Hyuga Hoshino would use the Curse Stop, and that the Curse Stop would successfully annihilate the Heart-Piercing Curse.

"The Divine Edge is Shadowless"

Kreacher led Delphi away from the spot, leaving a cut mark on the ground with his unseen blade.

When Hyuga Hoshino snapped his fingers, house-elves from Hogwarts appeared, so the two of them each had a house-elf, resulting in a tie.

“You must be the Lady Bird that Grindelwald mentioned. That’s interesting. Now that you and I each have a house-elf, how about we have some fun?”

Delphi hadn't yet grasped the situation when Hyuga Hoshino was already right in front of him. The house-pok's teleportation was far more convenient than Apparition.

Hinata Hoshino's wand was right in front of him. Elderwood is a very hard material, so even a wand in his hands is not much different from a sharp sword.

Delphi's pupils contracted, and Kreacher promptly led Delphi away from the spot.

Delphi was still reeling from the shock of witnessing the melee wizard. To be honest, everyone in the Harry Potter world is a wizard, but there are always a couple who want to try their hand at melee combat, like Gryffindor.

Gryffindor's sword is actually a two-handed greatsword. Does anyone know what spell he uses to cast it?

And then there's Voldemort, who killed Snape with his wand. I wonder why these wizards all have such a strong desire to be melee fighters?

"Vulgar, filthy, foolish, ignorant. How can an elegant wizard use a wand as a melee weapon?"

"Your father."

Hyuga Hoshino's words startled Delphi, who instinctively retorted.

"What do you mean, my father?"

"Just pretend I misspoke. Are you ready, Miss Bird?"

"what?"

Everything is gray.

Delphi recognized the spell—the secret of Hermione Granger, the Minister of Magic, a terrifying spell capable of turning everything to nothingness.

But it was still magic at its core, Delphi raised his wand.

Avada Kedavra

The two streams of magical light canceled each other out, and Delphi's eyes burned with intense fighting spirit.

"Fire Guardian".

Earth and stone coalesced into a protective shield, and fierce flames ignited on its body. Hyuga Hoshino smiled, thinking that Grindelwald was truly unwilling to be left out.

Delphi's use of Fiendfire is strikingly similar to the Fiendfire Grindelwald unleashed in the City of Romance.

Grindelwald was supposed to be Delphi's mentor for a while. I wonder how well Delphi learned from him.

Hinata Hoshino now decides to discard the future memories she previously obtained, as the details have been changed too much to be accurate.

Hyuga Hoshino decided to try something different with Delphi. Since she used Fiery Blaze as armor, Hyuga Hoshino decided to use Dust Release as armor as well.

With a wave of the magic wand, the guardian deity Qilin appeared. The guardian deity Qilin, towering twenty to thirty meters tall, was covered in armor formed from dust.

Delphie's eyelids twitched at the sight. She suddenly felt that even a powerful weapon like Fiery Blaze didn't seem to have much of an advantage against this kind of magic.

"Dust Armor Guardian"

The Kirin leaped forward, its body clad in armor formed from Dust Release chakra, and slammed straight into the Fiery Guardians. All the Fiery Guardians raised their hands, barely managing to withstand the impact of the Kirin guardian deity.

The dust-style chakra on the Kirin and the fierce flames on the guards canceled each other out. Clearly, there is no relationship of one restraining the other between chakra and magic power; it's simply a matter of whichever has more quantity can overwhelm the other.

"Qilin with Broken Horn"

The Qilin Guardian lowered its head, its large horn pointing at the Fiery Guardian. With an upward slash, one of the Qilin Guardian's horns broke off, releasing a powerful energy shockwave mixed with dust escape.

In an instant, all the fierce fire guards were destroyed, and the Qilin guardian deity was also annihilated in a moment.

The Qilin's Broken Horn is a divine power of the Qilin's bloodline. It involves breaking off the horn on its head to gain the power to perish together with the enemy.

Delphi's face was terribly grim. The amount of fiery energy she could control was limited, and covering these guards was already the limit.

Delphi pointed her wand at the lake, and countless Infernals surged out of the water. Delphi revealed a sinister expression, completely forgetting that Hyuga Hoshino also had house-elves by her side, and that leaving would be easy for him.

"Give me directions"

A note bearing Regulus Black's name floated down and found him among the Infernals.

Since we're already here, let's collect Regulus's body and take Slytherin's locket while we're at it.

"Regulus Black, fly here."

Regulus's Shadow Corpse flew straight towards Hyuga Hoshino, knocking away countless other Shadow Corpses.

Regulus, the corpse, tried to pounce on Hyuga Hoshino, but was bound in place by Hyuga Hoshino's Wood Release.

Right in front of Delphi, Hyuga Hoshino plucked a hair from Regulus's corpse and pulled out a White Zetsu.

"Reincarnation of Dirt"

Under Delphi's incredulous gaze, Regulus was successfully half-resurrected. Regulus opened his eyes and scanned his surroundings. Not far away was the army of Infernals, and further away was Delphi, whose face resembled Voldemort and Bellatrix.

This left Regulus completely confused. How long had he been dead? Or was he still alive, just having a hallucination before his death?

When Regulus realized that the house-elf beside Delphi was Kreacher...

He came to his senses and realized that he was not dreaming; he was indeed dead, and as for his current situation, it was very likely that the wizard beside him had resurrected him.

Delphi recalled carefully and realized that he had never seen any information about Hyuga Hoshino possessing this kind of resurrection magic, which was similar to necromancy.

This surprised her greatly. She thought she had gathered enough information, but she was surprised by the unexpected surprise. If she could master this magic, resurrecting Voldemort would not be too difficult.

But then she thought again, this person's strength is already unfathomable, what makes her think she can get him to agree to teach her this magic? Not to mention, if he teaches her, she's sure she can learn it too?

From a distance, what appears to be a small lake isn't actually very deep. Moreover, it's a stagnant lake, its waters not connected to the outside world.
