She saw Mr. Pan, who was focused on eating. Although Yuta Kijima preferred to call him Panda, since he would definitely grow to that size in the future.

"Meow~"

While eating, she noticed that there was another strange human next to her, Mr. Pan, who called out to Eriri in a soft, sweet voice.

Eriri immediately forgot her anxiety about not seeing Kasumigaoka Utaha and carefully crouched down on Mr. Pan: "Mimi~"

A flock of crows flew overhead above Yuta Kijima's head.

Are all cat lovers in the world the same? They all name cats they don't even know "Mimi"...

Yuta Kijima explained, "It's called Mr. Pan, but you can also consider calling it Panda."

"Mr. Pan?" Eriri carefully picked up Mr. Pan, who was eating cat food, causing him to struggle in her arms. "Is he that Disney mascot?"

She picked up Mr. Pan with both hands and looked him over from left to right, and found that apart from his pure white belly, the rest of Mr. Pan's body was covered in black and white stripes.

He immediately understood and said, "Mr. Pan does indeed sound like Mr. Pan, but I also think Panda sounds very nice."

"But he's not fat enough." Eriri said with a smile, then picked up a small handful of cat food from the ground and put it in her palm to soothe the somewhat anxious Mr. Pan.

Upon seeing this, Yuta Kijima immediately knew that Panda had successfully captured another cat lover.

"Eri, you're here so early, haven't you eaten yet?" he asked gently.

"Hmm... no, not really..." Eriri touched her stomach with her fair hand when she heard Yuta Kijima's question. In order to see Kasumigaoka Utaha as soon as possible, she had made sure to keep things simple after getting up this morning.

Last night, after her mother found out she was coming to Yuta's house today, she planned to get up this morning and dress her up nicely.

"Does Eriri have any dietary restrictions?" Yuta Kijima asked. "If not, I'll go prepare breakfast."

Eriri shook her head: "No, thank you for your help, Yuta."

Yuta Kijima shook his head and smiled before walking into the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

……

After a while.

Yuta Kijima brought out breakfast.

Today he prepared cheese and seaweed rice balls, grilled salmon, and a bowl of delicious miso soup.

"Eri, breakfast is ready!"

"Ok."

Upon hearing this, Eriri put down Mr. Pan and went to the restaurant. When she saw the delicious-looking food on the table, her stomach, which wasn't hungry at first, suddenly felt empty.

I'm completely immersed in the aroma of the delicious food.

However, in order to maintain her usual image as a pampered young lady, she remained reserved and did not reveal any other side of herself.

Yuta Kijima said, "Let's start eating Eriri."

"Mmm," Eriri replied softly, "I'm starting."

She picked up the exquisitely-looking rice ball, parted her lips slightly, took a bite, and ate it.

Wow! Can rice balls be made this delicious? I took another bite of the salmon, it was so tender! The fresh, fragrant, and tender flavor melted in my mouth. Then I took a small sip of the miso soup, and suddenly I felt that getting up early was wonderful.

Eriri's eyebrows curved slightly with happiness, and she couldn't help but praise, "It's so delicious! I really don't understand why you, Yuta, are such a good cook."

"If I could have such a good breakfast every morning, waking up early wouldn't be so bad!"

Yuta Kijima smiled slightly: "These are just some simple breakfasts, Eriri, please don't flatter me."

"No way!" Eriri retorted, "It's really delicious!"

After saying that, she took another bite of the rice ball in her hand, her cheeks puffing out like a little squirrel.

Yuta Kijima couldn't help but smile and said, "I told you before, Eriri can come here anytime she wants to eat, and I'll cook for her for free."

After hearing this, Eriri slowed down her chewing and moved her lips, but ultimately did not respond to his words.

(Why did you say things like a male protagonist from a visual novel?! You jerk!)

(Even if you're incredibly kind, cook amazingly well, write great light novels, and can even help me draw manga... you already have Megumi by your side.)

Time goes by.

Eriri shyly wiped her lips with a tissue. It must be because she hadn't eaten breakfast this morning that she couldn't help but eat so much.

Seeing Yuta Kijima clearing the dishes, she felt restless and went back into the living room to hug Mr. Pan and take a deep breath.

Mr. Pan, who was dozing off, looked puzzled and asked, "Meow?"

Chapter 168 Sailing Off to Po Island

After a while, Yuta Kijima also returned to the living room. The harmonious atmosphere made Eriri's feelings about Utaha Kasumigaoka fade a lot.

She felt terrible just thinking about what Kasumigaoka Utaha had said last night.

Seeing Eriri gently stroking the cat but looking somewhat absent-minded, Yuta Kijima's words immediately snapped her out of her memories from last night.

"Eri, you... did you come here so early today because of something urgent?"

"Did you and Shiyu-senpai have another fight?"

Eriri unconsciously pursed her lips upon hearing this, unsure whether she should tell Yuta about it. After all, it might not mean much to him, but she valued it highly.

After a moment of silence, Eriri looked up at Yuta Kijima, her voice tinged with disappointment, and said, "Last night, that woman, Utaha Kasumigaoka, said that Tomoya has already found another illustrator..."

"And they even said I'm already a dumped loser..."

She glanced down at the soft, cuddly panda in her arms, then turned back to meet Yuta Kijima's eyes. Both of them were slightly taken aback, and Eriri forced a smile at the sight.

"..."

Yuta Kijima hadn't expected this reason, but upon reflection, it made perfect sense. Although Eriri had complained about Tomoya Aki the whole time at her house yesterday, the two were childhood friends after all.

Now that Eriri has heard what Kasumigaoka Utaha said, she's determined to get to the bottom of it no matter what.

"Eri, you..."

Yuta Kijima instinctively opened his mouth, unsure how to comfort Eriri.

"It's alright, Yuta."

Eriri interrupted his attempt at comforting words, a self-deprecating smile playing on her lips. Forcing herself to calm down, she lifted her delicate face as if she had regained her energy, pretending to be nonchalant.

“Rinya was never going to make up with me anyway. If what Kasumigaoka Utaha said is true, then this is perfect.”

"It doesn't matter anyway..."

Eriri lowered her head and fell silent before she could finish her sentence.

An eerie silence fell between the two, leaving only the panda in Eriri's arms wondering why the two humans had suddenly stopped talking.

After a long silence, just as Yuta Kijima was about to say something to comfort Eriri, the doorbell suddenly rang.

"It must be my senior classmate. I'll go open the door for her."

Yuta Kijima immediately stood up. He knew he would only find out what his senior knew after meeting her in person.

However, he can't help feeling intimidated when he sees Kasumigaoka Utaha now. There's no way around it; she already had his weakness in her hands, and now she's won over Eriri with just a few words.

He strongly suspected that the senior student had installed listening devices on everyone's phones.

so horrible.

"Yuta..."

Eriri's voice rang out, and she reached out her hand, intending to tell Kasumigaoka Utaha to greet her at the door, but seeing that Kijima Yuta had already stood up, she didn't continue.

His expression became a little tense, or perhaps it was the relief of knowing the outcome soon?

As the gate opened.

The senior student stood gracefully and calmly at the door.

A light blue dress paired with a dark coat.

She had long, straight, black hair that reached her shoulders, and two long, slender legs clad in black pantyhose.

Most importantly, when he saw Yuta Kijima open the door, his slightly narrowed, wine-red eyes were full of disdain: "Eh? I thought it would be our blond loser coming to greet me. I didn't expect it to be you, junior?"

Yuta Kijima ruthlessly remarked, "Sorry, it seems it was wrong of me to come and greet my senior."

"Huh? Junior." Kasumigaoka Utaha smiled, narrowing her eyes. "Have you already forgotten what you promised me?"

"..."

What is it? Is it about me becoming your slave?

Yuta Kijima took a deep breath and said with a gentle smile, "Senior, why don't you come in first?"

Kasumigaoka Utaha smiled slightly: "You're a promising young man."

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Upon entering the living room, Kasumigaoka Utaha saw Eriri, who seemed a little restless on the sofa, and immediately unleashed her sharp tongue.

"Sawamura-kun, I thought you were hiding in some corner, feeling sad. I didn't expect you to be in such a good mood."

"Enough with the nonsense!" Eriri wasn't in the mood to argue with her, and her expression was a little unpleasant.

"Didn't you say that Tomoya had found a new ally? What exactly happened?!"

Even at this point, you still come here to mock me. I was already planning to change your comic into an original pure love story, and you're trying to force me to change my mind!

"Oh, there really is a cat." Kasumigaoka Utaha didn't immediately mention what Eriri was interested in. Instead, she noticed the cat in Eriri's arms and sat down next to Eriri with a friendly look, completely ignoring Eriri's staring gaze.

There's no way to resist a kitten that keeps making soft, cute meows; you have to pet it first before you can do anything else.

"Sawamura-kun, don't worry. Whether this is true or false, there's nothing you can do about it now."

Kasumigaoka Utaha took the cat directly from Eriri's stunned arms.

Seeing that Eriri was still acting carelessly, she gave her a kind reminder.

If she didn't want to see her "deeply suffering," she wouldn't have revealed what she knew. Although even if she didn't say it now, I'm sure the ethics committee would have revealed it next time.

It's just a difference between long-term and short-term pain.

Sitting to the side, Yuta Kijima sipped his barley tea, quietly waiting for things to unfold. This feeling of silently watching the drama unfold was truly wonderful.

Unfortunately, this idea didn't last long. Kasumigaoka Utaha glanced at him with her phoenix eyes and said with a disdainful tone, "Junior, don't you know you should prepare drinks for the guests? I braved the scorching sun outside to get here..."
