A group of people were busy at work when a long-faced boy with thick eyebrows strode into the courtyard.

The visitor was Xu Damao, the son of Xu Fugui's family in the backyard.

Xu Damao and He Yuzhu have known each other since childhood, but they have never gotten along. Whenever they meet, they argue and make a scene, causing chaos in the yard.

It wasn't until later, when He Yuzhu went out to learn cooking and Xu Damao went out to attend junior high school, that things calmed down a bit.

Xu Damao is back from his holiday today, and these two sworn enemies happen to run into each other.

"Xu Damao, today is my father's big day, I won't hold it against you."

"Don't get in my way, or I'll beat you up."

He Yuzhu picked up a large ladle and gestured with it a couple of times, threateningly.

He Yuzhu was older than Xu Damao and much stronger.

Every time they got into a fight, Xu Damao was the one who got chased and beaten up.

"Hmph, just wait for me."

Xu Damao snorted coldly and quickly fled, his body behaving itself perfectly.

Xu Damao still vividly remembers the beatings he suffered in the past, and he doesn't want to suffer again.

Not long after Xu Damao left, Liu Haizhong's eldest son, Liu Guangqi, rushed to the Intermediate People's Court.

"Shazhu, your dad's back. Go out and see him quickly."

Upon hearing that his father had returned, He Yuzhu put down his work and rushed out.

I ran outside and saw He Daqing slowly riding his bicycle towards me from afar.

The bride in the back seat was perhaps shy, as she buried her face behind He Daqing, making it impossible to see her features and figure.

Children from the nearby alleys ran out and cheered for He Daqing.

He Daqing gripped the handlebars tightly with one hand and reached into his pocket with the other to pull out a handful of milk candies, which he then distributed to the children next to him.

"Today is my wedding day, may everyone share in the joy."

The children who received the candy thanked her and jumped away happily.

"Dad, you're back!"

He Yuzhu went to greet her, his eyes fixed on the bride in the back seat of the car.

He was very curious about what kind of person Aunt Qin was.

He Daqing stopped the car and gently lifted the bride out of the car.

The young men who were greeting Qin Huairu outside were stunned when they saw her true face.

I thought the bride would be an ordinary village girl.

Unexpectedly, she was a young and beautiful virgin.

The environment in the city is just different.

While her fellow villagers were still living in mud houses, Qin Huairu was about to move into a house with blue bricks and green tiles.

Thinking about the happy life ahead, all of Qin Huairu's doubts disappeared.
