A few months ago, Magellan first realized how painful it was to lose the Doctor. Even if she didn't say it out loud, even if she hid her grief in her heart, she could feel her movements becoming sluggish, aimless, and confused. Later, she finally managed to find herself again, but the scars left by the Doctor's death would never leave her.

She never imagined that she would be able to find the Doctor again, nor did she ever imagine that this guy actually left Rhodes Island by faking his death.

Thinking of this, Magellan couldn't help but press his fingers on Mike's waist. Even without making any movement, Mike felt a deep chill.

"Magellan, have you thought this through? I haven't done anything to wrong you."

"Of course you didn't do it. If you had, I would never have let you off the hook."

Magellan's threat was weak and lacked any real threat.

Seeing this, Mike immediately pressed his advantage: "But I want to do some, what should I do?"

"What? You actually dare to think about that?"

Magellan couldn't take it anymore. She suddenly raised her head and headbutted Mike's chin. It seemed that the headbutt caused Mike to bite his tongue. Mike covered his mouth and whimpered as he backed away, looking at the girl in disbelief.

Did John Nestham's death embolden her, or did she realize that failing to cherish those around her would only leave her with eternal regret?

Li Boli remained standing in the same spot, looking up at the man not far away with a very complicated expression.

She had already missed out once and didn't want to miss out a second time, nor did she want to leave herself with regrets, even though many of her sisters were drooling over this man.

Magellan took a deep breath and asked softly, "Doctor, I have a secret that I've kept in my heart for a long time. Can I share it with you?"

What's on your mind?

Magellan usually confided her secrets to the withered trees and the endless ice fields, and Magellan considered himself very lucky to be her confidant.

"Really? I promise I'll keep it a secret and won't tell anyone."

The man lowered his head, waiting for Li Boli's soft words.

Unfortunately, he didn't get to see it. Magellan stretched out his arms again, hugged Mike's neck tightly, and kissed his lips deeply.

In those two short seconds, Mike's mind went blank. He was the one who usually kissed girls; he never expected to be kissed by someone else today.

When the two parted, Magellan was slightly out of breath, and his pink lips were flushed.

Those bright eyes stared at the man before him: "Doctor, have you forgotten that I'm Colombian?"

Mike shook his head: "I want to experience it again."

"You greedy bastard."

Magellan sighed inwardly. Then, when she kissed the man for the second time, she found that the roles had reversed. Mac caught her and lifted her off the ground.

Losing her balance, Magellan quickly wrapped her legs tightly around the man's waist to prevent herself from falling. She clung to the doctor like a koala, her intense shyness making her use all her strength. Fortunately, Mac was physically strong and was not directly overwhelmed by Magellan.

The man's steps unconsciously circled in front of the grove of trees in front of the research station. The two of them were kissing and embracing when they accidentally bumped into a tree and fell directly onto the snow. Only then did they let each other go.

Magellan straddled Mike's waist, her hair falling down her sides, and the girl's rosy cheeks were almost pressed against Mike's eyes.

"Does the professor already have another girlfriend?"

Faced with such questioning, Mike neither denied nor admitted it, but simply said, "I am sincere to every girl."

"Really? Do you know how rude of you to say that?"

“Going too far is not my intention. As I just said, I love everyone, and my love is equal and equal. It's not like I'm going to be cut into more than a hundred pieces and then distributed among everyone, is it?”

Magellan suddenly grinned wickedly: "Who said that? One of the sisters suggested dividing you into equal parts, so everyone could have one, and that way everyone could have you."

Mike was horrified. Who was the genius who came up with this plan? He mustn't let him know, or he'd be fired. This was too terrifying. Was this still a 12+ mobile game?

Li Boli's expression suddenly relaxed, and she chuckled, "Just kidding, who would do something so terrifying? It's just that what the doctor said just now was really too much. No girl could tolerate what you said, right?"

Mike nodded in deep agreement: "That's what I think too, so we need to find a compromise that everyone can accept without it causing a fight or a united attack on me."

"Hmph, how could that be?"

Mike sighed: "I know it's impossible, that's why I'm trying to find a way."

Magellan lightly punched Mike's shoulder with his small fist, and the man pretended to be injured: "Seriously injured, I need to compensate you."

Do you really want compensation?

Li Boli swayed her hips slightly: "Doctor, what you just did..."

Mike blushed, probably because it was the first time he had encountered such a situation, and argued, "First of all, I must remind you that I am a normal man, and secondly, you are a very beautiful girl, so this is a normal phenomenon."

"Don't make it sound so easy to say you're taking advantage of someone else."

Magellan pressed down hard, causing Mike to arch his legs involuntarily. The two were in an ambiguous position, and even Liboli blushed a little.

“I refuse any rebuttal.”

She kissed Mike again, this time with great force. She seemed to be seeking solace from this man to make up for all the grievances she had suffered in the past.

Heaven and earth bear witness that we are outdoors, in freezing temperatures of minus ten degrees Celsius. It's not that Mike is taking pity on her and wants to let her go; Liberi is just too audacious. Is she trying to compete for the Liberi Conservation Association's bird of honor?

90. Grasslands and primeval forests

Muirsey is very busy.

How busy are they?

She was so busy that she split into six water clones to help her with all sorts of things.

Why is it that Mike's team has so few people capable of doing these professional tasks?

As the head of the Department of Ecology at Rhine Life Sciences, she could only do as much as she could and try her best to make up for the shortcomings within the team.

Of course, she wasn't without help, like that guy Horhaya.

The water sprite and she didn't get along, and even had some hatred towards each other, but that's all in the past. At least for Mike's sake, she can put it aside for now.

The water sprite was delighted, thinking that she wouldn't have to spend the night outdoors, and perhaps even more wonderful things would happen.

The demonic contamination within the research station has been largely eliminated, and the six heavy power armors have been returned to their original positions. After a simple test, no one believes that these items should be taken out for use, as that would only cause trouble and increase unnecessary losses.

After a busy afternoon, the work at hand has come to a temporary end.

Muirsey moved a chair and sat down, while her body doubled over to serve her tea and water, and massage her legs and shoulders.

Finally, I can enjoy myself.

However, she hadn't been dozing off with her eyes closed for long when footsteps came from the doorway. Holhaya, holding two cups of coffee, leaned against the doorframe, looking at her with a half-smile.

You can't hit someone who's smiling at you; you must hold back and not get angry.

Muirsey repeatedly told herself not to get angry, took a deep breath, and then said, "Please come in."

Hearing the call, the feathered serpent strode over with cat-like steps, swaying its voluptuous waist, and handed the coffee to the water sprite.

Muirsey, who always tries to get a good deal, never misses an opportunity. She accepted the coffee with a smile and said calmly, "I'm sorry, I can't give you a tip right now, but your service was excellent, and I'm very satisfied."

"really?"

Horhaia showed no anger whatsoever, still wearing a relaxed smile, making the water sprite feel as if she had punched thin air, which was extremely uncomfortable.

She remembered that Horhyth was not this kind of person. The two of them had not only fought in Tremont, but also had an unpleasant experience on Rhodes Island. How come the Feathered Serpent has changed its nature now? Faced with her provocation, it did not respond and even took a step back.

"Don't be nervous, don't be surprised, nothing has happened, or rather, nothing will happen. I have absolutely no interest in your little schemes."

Holhaya sat in another chair, picked up her coffee, took a sip, and her smile remained unchanged.

She looked around and said in surprise, "You've cleaned this place so neatly, it's become more like an office. I'm a little surprised you would do this. Shouldn't we be hurrying to set off for the Wall in the North, instead of lingering here for so long?"

Faced with the feathered serpent's questions, Muirsey had no intention of explaining herself; she had her own reasons, which she couldn't tell this woman.

Seeing that Muirsey did not react, Horhaia did not press the matter.

In her eyes, the water sprite was still a little girl, and such a simple and easy-to-understand method could not be kept a secret. She just wanted to find an opportunity to be alone with the doctor. How naive she was.

Holhaa thought to herself that she had already had close contact with the doctor, which was better than Muirsey trying to find an opportunity.

I have to say, the doctor's job is pretty good. It's just that he can't handle it alone. With the little water sprite's small body, it probably won't be long before she falls apart. Maybe then you'll see her crying and begging for help.

When Muirsey saw Horhaya's strange smile, her heart skipped a beat: "What are you laughing at?"

"It's nothing, I just remembered something happy."

Happy things?

The water sprite's expression immediately turned somewhat unpleasant. The thing that made Horhaiya so happy was probably related to her.

That despicable woman! She should be arrested and properly educated, and made to be my maid.

"By the way, have you seen the Doctor?"

Holhaya's question made Muirsays suddenly realize that something was wrong. They had been busy at the research station for so long, but the man was nowhere to be found. Where did he go?

"Didn't you notice someone's missing? Maybe this guy's whispering sweet nothings to the doctor."

"what?"

While surprised, Muirsey quickly calculated in her mind who the Doctor was most likely with right now.

Several names flashed through her mind: Astro, Adele, Magellan, and Typhon.

Magellan was the least likely candidate; the explorer was only focused on the ice field and didn't take the doctor seriously at all.

Could it be Typhon? The Demon Hunter is used to working alone, and she doesn't get along with the Doctor, so it probably isn't her.

The remaining choices are between Astro Blaster, Adele, and Destreet.

After thinking it over, Muirsey realized that she had no way to prove it, but even if she did have evidence, what could she do?

She secretly made up her mind to place a water clone next to the doctor, even if it was just a tiny person the size of a palm, it would be better than knowing nothing at all.

"Thank you for the reminder, I will pay attention."

The water sprite's words made the feathered serpent laugh, and even laugh out loud.

This silly girl actually thinks she's the mistress of the house. Isn't that a bit inappropriate?

She had never seen those crazy women pursuing a doctor.

The present-day Muirsey is like a refreshing meadow, making one want to lie down and take a nap, but those terrifying women are like a primeval forest, hiding all sorts of ferocious monsters that could devour the doctoral student alive at any moment, without exception, including Holhaya herself.

"Okay, whatever. I've been here long enough. When you're done, go to the lobby. We need to discuss what to do next."

The feathered serpent took the empty coffee cup.

Watching her swaying hips, Muirsey subconsciously gestured to herself, then came to a sad conclusion: at her current level, she was still a bit inferior to Quetzalcoatl. Who could blame her when that guy was just too good at it?
