Bai Miao didn't reply. Looking at the bloodstains on the tentacles, he stuck out his tongue and licked them.

The physical strength that was consumed was partially restored thanks to the nourishment from the blood.

As Bai Miao moved forward, more and more tentacles grew along the way.

But all of these eventually became Bai Miao's supplies.

"Would you be so kind as to warn me not to go to the surface?"

Bai Miao activated his Qi Observation Technique but did not detect any signs of human activity above.

After returning to the ground, Bai Miao entered the police station with his knife.

The officers who remained on duty immediately tried to notify others, but found that their walkie-talkies and other equipment were malfunctioning, and they could only hear explosions, burning, and cries coming from them.

Under the 3.14MHz blockade, all electronic equipment in the police station was rendered inoperable.

"Open the armory."

"I know about the person who knocked on the door, and I'll tell you everything I know :-)"

"You've come at the wrong time, but I really hope someone will knock on the door and get in before it's finished :-)"

"But you can't return with those memories; the gate will record everything :-)"

"You shouldn't limit your focus to this one instance; we can make a deal :-)"

The scene before Bai Miao suddenly changed. Lucia was still in his hands, and White's father's muscular hands were clinging to the eaves.

Lucia turned to Bai Miao and asked, "You've spoken to White?"

"We've talked, and it went very well, so you're no longer needed."

"boom!"

Bai Miao shot Lucia in the temple, pushing her body toward White's father.

White's father held Lucia in his arms, and in a few breaths, the two became one.

Bai Miao looked at White's father and smiled slightly: "Now, I will act as White's agent and help him improve the town of Hardman :-)

Chapter Fifty-Nine: The Door is the Enemy

Let's go back to the time when Bai Miao made the deal with White.

"Let me reintroduce myself. My name is White, and I'm the creator of the instance you're currently experiencing :-)"

"Can you stop always wearing a smiling face? It's making me really annoyed."

Bai Miao stood in front of a mirror and spoke to his reflection.

Lines of blood-red words appeared on the mirror; those were White's words.

"You can cancel temporarily if needed."

"Okay, first tell me what you mean by creating dungeons. Are all the dungeons behind the door created by people?"

Bai Miao felt that he was coming into contact with some taboo content.

Entering this instance was a mistake, but by sheer coincidence, I obtained information beyond what any of the other knockers had ever received!

This touches upon the essence of doors!

And what is the purpose of the person knocking on the door?

"After a certain condition is met, the person knocking on the door will become one with the door and gain the opportunity to create a dungeon behind the door. Although it is called an opportunity, the door will not give you a choice. The door has already built its stage and will only create the conditions required for this stage and let you complete them. Once completed, the dungeon will be automatically generated. During this process, the person knocking on the door will become one with the door."

"Until another knocker clears the dungeon, the reward will be drawn from the knocker who created the door, who will receive one of the highest-level items."

Does that mean the person knocking on the door is just a worker for the door, building according to the blueprints?

It seems that this condition is punitive in nature, and by no means a benefit.

The Abyss Street and the Shadow of Yar are clearly related in that they occurred before and after each other.

If it's White's theory, then it's clearly incorrect.

"Not all doors are created by humans. Man-made doors don't allow for any interconnectedness within their instances. Each person has their own unique door. Doors not created by humans come from anywhere in infinite spacetime. Time within a door is meaningless. I became a knocker in 2041, and this instance was created in 2042. What about you?"

Bai Miao paused for a moment, then said, "2029."

"In the early days of the door, everyone longed for the world inside and hoped to become a knocker. Indeed, among the knockers of that era, there were a few very powerful individuals, and their legends still circulate to this day."

When Bai Miao heard this guy talking about the future, he couldn't help but feel a sense of kinship.

It was my future self who sent me the letter, which enabled me to obtain the Aleph-level item and successfully surpass other knockers by a large margin.

Now I can even ask myself for some future strategies and such?

"After ten years of development, how is it going where you are? The world must have undergone dramatic changes because of the appearance of the door."

"Those who knock on the door can enter, and all powerful beings inside the door can also come in."

Bai Miao was not surprised by this. The fox only had a fragment of the Heavenly Dao and it could send him things directly through the system. What level would it be if it fully mastered the Heavenly Dao?
