The system's subtitles were very fast, with most subtitles consisting of only a short line for each year. However, He Ao seemed to see the entire year truly flowing through those short lines.

He Ao's vision gradually returned, and he saw pure white light and a nurse with long brown hair and a voluptuous figure. "Mr. Ander? You're awake. You're so lucky. That steel rod only went through your body and passed perfectly through the gap between your internal organs."

"are you awake?"

A somewhat cold and mature female voice came from beside the nurse.

He Ao turned his head and looked over. The first thing that caught his eye was her flowing golden hair, which was like a waterfall, followed by her beautiful and heroic face, and her curvaceous figure.

The plump and beautiful nurse standing beside this person looked like wildflowers by the roadside setting off a peony.

He Ao knew this person.

Selena.

Chapter 20 First Mission (Please add to your favorites, recommend, and continue reading)

The cold night wind whistled past He's ears.

He glanced down; the ground beneath his feet seemed so far away, and the wide eight-lane road stretched out like a long, thin golden thread under the streetlights.

He was now standing on the rooftop of a tall building, completely shrouded in a black combat suit.

He Ao estimated that the building must be at least two or three hundred meters tall.

He's fine, except he's a little afraid of heights.

"Relax, it's okay."

A gentle laugh came from behind. Selena seemed to sense his nervousness and patted him on the back.

Then she walked over to He Ao, stood on the edge of the rooftop, and pointed to a red pull ring on the left chest of He Ao's combat suit. "If anything unexpected happens later, pull this pull ring, and the automatic glider will deploy and take you safely to the ground."

"So, are you ready, little one?"

Selena turned around, her back to the two or three hundred meters above the ground.

Who would have thought that just thirty minutes ago, He Ao was wrapped up like a big rice dumpling in the hospital, being carefully cared for by a pretty nurse with big breasts and a curvy bottom.

Thirty minutes later, he was standing there, forced by Selena to work overtime and carry out his first mission in Dawn City.

Selena glanced at He Ao, a smile playing on her lips. She spread her arms wide, like a bird spreading its wings, then gently tiptoed and fell backward.

The girl's graceful body plummeted from hundreds of meters in the air, the howling wind blowing through her long golden hair and scraping against her delicate skin, like a canary flying around an elf.

He Ao took a deep breath, turned around, and closed his eyes.

We are born on the earth, grow up on the earth, and always have a sense of attachment to the earth.

When people leave the earth, all their experiences seem to lose their meaning, and their lives seem to slip out of their control, so they always feel fear.

He Ao disliked this feeling of being out of control.

But, there's always a first time for everything.

Just as a fledgling eagle will eventually spread its wings, people also dream of conquering the sky like birds.

He closed his eyes and leaned back slightly. He could hear the surging wind, the sound of the sky breathing.

The moment the center of gravity crosses a certain point, everything is out of control.

He Ao's feet left the rooftop, and the howling wind lashed his cheeks.

The earth will reach out its invisible hand to pull those who try to conquer the sky back into its embrace.

And He Ao continued to descend under such pulling force.

Faster and faster.

Until a certain limit is reached.

hum-

That was the trembling sound of a thin steel rope being stretched taut.

His body stopped and then slammed into the wall.

Selena was faster than him.

The young assistant inspector kicked the huge glass curtain wall directly.

Bang—Bang—

After a very short impact, the glass window, which glowed with a faint blue light, shattered, creating a huge hole. Selena followed the hole into the room, and the thin steel cable binding her snapped. She flew into the room, landing steadily on the ground with her feet slightly bent.

She raised her hands,

Two small silver pistols appeared in her hands, pointed at everyone in the room, and she said, "FBI, all of you, put your hands on your heads and squat down."

He Ao also rushed in through the breach at this moment. He didn't have Selena's strong braking force, and it took him a roll to dissipate the force.

He pulled out his pistol and stood next to Selena.

This appears to be a large suite in a luxury hotel. Two sofas are placed vertically in the center of the suite, with one person sitting on each sofa at the moment.

The man on the left looked extremely tall and strong, sitting there like a small mountain. He was wearing a gray vest, and his right hand was a huge mechanical arm, exposed, which looked full of a ferocious aura.

The person on the right is wearing a silver suit and looks very polite.

Between the two was a long coffee table, on which were several open silver briefcases.

"FBI."

After Heo and Selena appeared, the man on the left immediately reacted, quickly stood up, and looked at Selena.

It was only then that He Ao discovered that his left eye had also been modified into a mechanical camera.

At the same time, seven or eight men carrying guns rushed out from both sides and confronted Heo and Selena.

"I'll repeat myself, FBI, put your hands on your heads and squat down."

Selena looked at them and said coldly.

"You stinking woman."

The burly man spat, and his massive mechanical arm clenched into a fist as he slammed it down at Selena.

Selena chuckled, instantly putting away the two small pistols and pulling a thin steel rope from her waist.

Immediately afterward, He Ao leaned to the side, dodging the burly man's punch, and then lightly leaped onto his shoulder. The steel rope in her hand spun around and wrapped around his neck.

She gripped both ends of the steel cable, straddled the burly man's neck, and pulled hard. The man choked, his only remaining eye wide open, and he fell backward.

The movement looked intricate and complicated, but it actually happened in less than a second. In the blink of an eye, the burly man, who was as big as a small mountain, fell backward.

It crashed to the floor with a loud thud.

Only then did his men realize what was happening and were about to shoot Selena.

However, Selena had already disappeared when the burly man fell, and just as these men were about to pull the trigger, gunshots rang out right in their ears.

The men's wrists were pierced by the hot bullets, and their guns fell to the ground.

Upon hearing the gunshot, the man on the right who wasn't fighting instinctively wanted to fire, but the man in the silver suit immediately raised his hands, signaling his men not to act rashly.

Selena kicked the guns that had fallen to the ground to Heo's feet, put away her small pistol, turned around and stomped the burly man who was trying to get up back down, then looked at the silver briefcase on the table.

These suitcases were filled with black sponges, with narrow, elongated indentations carved out in the middle, each containing a similarly slender, transparent glass bottle in which a light green liquid flowed.

“IB-II?” Selena casually picked up a glass bottle, shook the liquid inside, looked at the man in the silver suit, and then instantly pulled out a pistol and pressed it against the man’s forehead. “I’ll make you squat down with your hands on your head.”
