I became light in American comics

After a passionate kiss reminiscent of classic romance between the male and female leads, Carol looked at him with concern: "The Lord of Fear that Hector spoke of, is it true?"
Hal nodded gravely: "Parallax, an extremely terrifying monster. Even the Legion can't handle it."
"Are you sure you can handle that thing?" Carol asked worriedly.
“No.” Hal smiled. “But you know, I like challenges.”
“This is different. With your previous planes, at least you could parachute; you were safe.” Carol lowered her head and said softly, “All these years I’ve never told you my thoughts, never even apologized. Now, finally… and you’re going to… this is unfair.”
Contrary to many superhero character archetypes, Hal is a penniless man who can't even afford rent, but his girlfriend is a young, beautiful, and incredibly wealthy woman. Carol is the new chairwoman of Ferris Aerospace, and the planes Hal flew during his military service belonged to her family.
Even the plane that Hal's father died in when it crashed belonged to the Carroll family.
Carole never told Hal in person, but she always felt guilty about it.
"There's nothing to apologize for, it wasn't your fault." Hal gently cupped her face. "It's okay, it's all in the past."
“Do you absolutely have to go? Why can't it be someone else?” Carol bit her lip. “Like Superman? Or Ultraman? Or... anyone else. Why does it have to be someone else?”
"Because this is my battle. I'm a Green Lantern, we never back down, and we never fear." Hal smiled confidently.
"I just wish we had more time."
Hal had known her since childhood, but in his memory, Carol was mostly a cold and unsmiling chairwoman. Seeing her genuine emotions now stirred his heart, and he couldn't help but reach out and hug her, giving her another kiss.
"It's okay, everything will be alright."
The two touched heads and remained silent for a few more minutes, as if the world was peaceful and serene.
After a moment, Carol finally broke the silence: "When is that parallax monster you mentioned coming?"
"Almost there. Strange, the ring radar just detected the Parallax's energy reaction near Mars. It should be there by now, given how close it is." Hal glanced at the ring. "Ring, where's the Parallax's energy reaction? Where is it?"
The lamp ring replied, "The parallax monster's energy reaction has disappeared."
Hal: "?"
Disappeared?
feint?
Hal was dumbfounded: "How could this be?"
"Radar scans detected extremely high-intensity energy reactions, and data reconstruction indicates that a fierce battle broke out between someone and the Parallax monster near Mars," Lantern Ring continued. "It is presumed that the Parallax monster has been killed."
Killed? Just in the last few minutes?
Hal was shocked.
That's a parallax monster! An enemy that the entire Green Lantern Corps couldn't defeat, which scared the usually arrogant Guardians into a bunch of turtles.
So it was done in a flash?
Isn't that person even more monstrous than Parallax?
"Radar identification, match found," the lamp ring continued. "It matches the energy characteristic reaction of the individual codenamed 'Ultraman'."
Hal's surprised expression vanished instantly.
Oh, that monster.
That's fine.
Hanging ratios are generally not within the scope of our discussion.
"What's wrong?" Carol nestled in his arms, asking with a worried expression.
"Yeah, there's been a little problem." Hal turned to look at her and said seriously, "The Parallax monster is gone."
Carol: "?"
She paused for a moment, then asked uncertainly, "That's it?"
"Yeah, it was gone in a flash, it was really sudden." Hal glanced at the beauty in his arms, couldn't help but smile, and casually wrapped his arm around her slender waist. "It's alright now, how about we go to my place for a bit? My bed is pretty big."
Carroll was stunned.
Hal's heroic rescue had already stirred her heart, and the thought that Hal was about to die moved her so much that she inadvertently revealed her feelings for him that she had kept hidden for many years.
So now, without even seeing a trace of the monster he was talking about, he suddenly says it's gone?
Thinking of this, Carol blushed.
Is this guy deliberately trying to fool me?
But in terms of sheer awe, no one was more shocked than the Almeric people and the mechanical superheroes watching from the front seats.
Especially when that gigascale Specium shot went off, and that huge parallax monster was gone in an instant.
The Almerek people trembled in fear, and even the mechanical superman fell silent for a moment.
Yeah, it was done in a flash.
The original plan was for Parallax Monster to be the main DPS, with Machine Hunter flanking from the side to secure victory. Now that the main DPS is dead, sending the rest in to feed seems pointless.
Meanwhile, Norland's mind raced.
Watching the terrifying monster blast into dust at the hands of the red-silver giant, whose body glowed and shrank, Norland immediately realized that the giant would likely be after his group next. This was their last chance to save themselves.
So Shen You, having regained his physique, turned around and immediately saw this scene.
Suddenly, Norland gave the order, and the Almeric warship in mid-air opened fire unexpectedly. An energy cannon shot slammed into the back of the mechanical superhero in mid-air, sending him spinning and flying, crashing face-first into the ground and creating a huge crater.
The mechanical superhero scrambled to his feet, furious: "What do you think you're doing?!"
"We Almerik have long disliked you terrorists!"
Norland shouted.
"Today we will rid the universe of this scourge!"
Chapter 224 Just burn it.
An energy cannon shot heralded the start of the decisive battle, and the Almeric warships and the machine hunter legion, who were on the same side just a second ago, suddenly became locked in combat.
The physical kind.
The machine hunters and the shipborne shuttle began exchanging fire, creating a dazzling display of laser effects. This unexpected turn of events caught even the mechanical superman off guard. Enraged, he turned and glared fiercely at Norland: "You! Traitor!"
As he spoke, his figure exploded forth, shattering the ground beneath his feet and sending up a cloud of dust behind him. His metallic body instantly propelled him at astonishing speed as he charged straight towards his plastic ally.
The Mechanical Superman isn't just someone who looks a bit like Superman. His mechanical half of his body is assembled from components based on Kryptonian technology and various other technological systems, while his organic parts are said to be of similar strength to Superman's. In terms of individual strength, he's certainly at the level of an average Kryptonian.
Of course, in Shen You's eyes now, Kryptonians are just one type of combat unit of measurement.
Even the mechanical superhero was caught completely off guard when the high-speed impact struck him from the side. He tumbled and flew a great distance, bouncing off the ground like a skipping stone, before crashing through the mountain and being buried beneath the rubble.
Surrounded by lightning, Shen You appeared out of thin air as if by teleportation, his footsteps leaving a long trail of cracks on the ground as he brought the car to a stop. Noland, who had just thought he was about to be instantly killed by the mechanical super, was still in a panicked position with his head in his hands when he looked up and saw that Shen You had already taken his place and flashed in front of him.
"Thank you, thank you," Norland said stiffly.
"No need, I just need you to go back and pass on a message for me later."
As Shen You spoke, he turned his head and saw that the rubble had exploded with a loud bang. The mechanical superman buried underneath soared into the air, let out a shout, and charged through the air at supersonic speed once again.
"Okay, wait a moment, let me take care of this."
Telepathic communication is much faster than verbal communication; Shen Youren had already gone to meet him the moment he spoke.
The mechanical superhero sprinted at full speed, his fiery red cloak trailing two white streaks. But Shen You remained unhurried, each step he took creating transparent ripples beneath his feet. The mechanical superhero's supersonic punch, moving at near-invisible speed, abruptly slowed as it entered the expanding area in front of him.
The accelerated operation of the quantum brain and the influence of the speed force energy on spacetime. Electric currents, like fine threads, wrapped around the mechanical superman's body, forcing his earth-shattering punches to slow down along with the stagnant spacetime.
Shen You slightly shifted his upper body to avoid the powerful punch. The mechanical superman's heavy punch, accompanied by a shockwave, missed its mark, then abruptly stopped, spinning around and throwing a 180-degree swinging punch back.
However, in terms of speed alone, he would struggle to keep up with Superman at this stage, and he was far inferior to Shen You at his current level. In addition, his attacks had long wind-up animations and large movements, which Shen You could see as full of loopholes. Just two of his opening moves had already exposed at least a dozen or twenty weaknesses.
Shen You leisurely glided along the outside of his body, leaning back slightly to avoid the huge arc of the swing punch. The super-speed-enhanced hook punch to the abdomen made the mechanical superman's body bend, and the transparent air ring exploded on his lower abdomen.
Shen You followed up with a hand chop to the shoulder. It was another powerful blow that shook the ground, and the mechanical superman slid backward, his body almost cracking from the shock.
By now, how could the mechanical superman not understand that he was no match for him? But Hank Henshaw had already experienced a cycle of death and rebirth, and now he was supported only by a burning desire for revenge. With red eyes, he charged forward at Shen You again without regard for anything else.
"Why are you stopping me!" he roared angrily. "I'm just demanding justice for my life!"
"You have made countless people pay the price for your revenge," Shen You said.
The mechanical superhero used a "Superman Punch" thrust—a move from free fighting, originally named for its striking motion resembling Superman's flight. In ring combat, it's a ground-pushing punch, but among these real superhuman characters, it's a literal Superman-style dash.
A technique that instantly unleashes a powerful punch at maximum flight speed.
But Shen You leaped into the air, using one palm to press down on the mechanical superman's forehead, and jumped behind him. Sprinting, a simple yet stylish parkour obstacle-crossing technique, transformed into the Flash's classic evasive maneuver with the added speed.
The mechanical superman roared and turned to throw a punch, but Shen You had anticipated this and grabbed him, slamming him to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw, followed by a punch to the face that shattered the ground beneath his iron skull.
Even the seemingly indestructible head of the mechanical superhero appeared to have cracked, with dents in the metal and flying debris.
"Your thinking has been disrupted, Hank Henshaw. Solar radiation has distorted your mind, and the loneliness of interstellar drifting has filled in the gaps in your imagination regarding that event."
Perhaps we should talk.
Shen You spoke calmly, a soft ball of light, dotted with sparkling points of light, already forming in his hand.
"No, I know exactly what happened!" the cyborg Superman yelled, trying to get up. "Superman killed them all, and he made me like this. I must..."
Bang.
Another punch landed on his nose, slamming his head back into the deep crater in the ground.
I said if we're going to talk, we have to talk.JPG.
He threw a punch, but Shen You's voice remained gentle.
"everything will get better."
Soft light streamed from his palm, enveloping Hank Henshaw.
Purify the light.
Shen You isn't Master Gao, and purification techniques aren't among his strongest light-based attacks. But now, with the added benefit of blue light possessing purification properties, he thinks it might be worth a try.
"No!" The cyborg Superman waved his hands wildly. "What are you doing to me? Let me go! I want revenge! It's all Superman's fault! I have to find Superman! I have to!"
The violent aura vanished from his last remaining eye, and Hank Henshaw's manic eyes briefly regained their clarity, reflecting a blue glow, a look of astonishment appearing in them.
"This...you're Terry?" he murmured incredulously. "But how is this possible?"
