"It's alright!" Aaron stretched and lay down on a bed. "I can finally relax before the holiday ends."
These past few days have been incredibly busy. I've been teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts to thirty wizards of varying skill levels—preparing lessons, training them, and sometimes even providing one-on-one tutoring.
"So that's why you feel justified in leaving all the homework to me?"
"You've misunderstood. There's no tutoring class, and the homework is still assigned to you."
"I thought so too," the thought entity said irritably, then transferred all its experience in inscribing magic circles this semester into the mind of the main body.
Aaron's face lit up with joy upon receiving the message.
With the experience gained over the past few months, the ultimate magic circle for the five elemental magics can now be completed in half a minute.
Advanced magic circles for light and dark magic can be cast almost instantly, but these two types of high-level magic consume more energy, so they should be used with caution.
Chapter 471 A Terrible Prophecy, Sending a Letter to Weasley
"Danger! Danger! Weasley's life is in danger..."
Aaron, who was fast asleep, almost rolled off the bed when he heard the sound.
"Damn it! What's going on?"
"Calm down, that's the warning from the prophecy." The thought entity took the prophecy from the throne and wrote today's date on it, a line of text appearing on the blank page.
Danger! Weasley's life is in danger.
"What the hell!" Aaron cursed in exasperation. "I thought I could finally get a few weeks of rest, but I can't even get a good night's sleep."
"For the past month or so, it has made a prediction every day, and now finally one of them is useful." The Thought-Body couldn't help but smile bitterly, "Unfortunately, it's not good news for us."
“Weasley.” Aaron sighed. “Arthur, Molly, Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, Ginny—they’re all Weasleys. How am I supposed to know which one it is?”
"Those at Hogwarts should be fine, but the remaining five are hard to say."
"The problem now is what to do? Should we intervene?" Aaron rubbed his forehead, looking at the clone of his thoughts opposite him, hoping it could give him some advice.
"Don't look at me like that. Although I have my own thoughts, I am still you at heart."
"What you worry about is what I worry about, and what you hesitate about is what I hesitate about." The Missing Body shrugged. "It wouldn't be fair to say we don't care, after all, we stayed at the slum for a few days. Although we stayed in our own tents, the family really did their best to be hospitable and were very polite and courteous to us."
If you try to get involved, it might not be a big deal, but you could unintentionally get caught up in the conflicts of the magical world.
Who knows what life-threatening danger he encountered?
If it were just a normal accident, saving a life wouldn't be a big deal.
But if it's a battle against Death Eaters, getting involved would be a violation of family rules, and I don't need to tell you the consequences!
A hint of helplessness flashed in Aaron's eyes. "I really regret buying this book now. If I didn't know it, I could at least get a good night's sleep."
"You might fool others with that, but why would you lie to me?"
“After all, they’re acquaintances. If we don’t help, it’s like watching someone die.” Aaron scratched his head, looking troubled. “But the problem is, how do we help? How can we resolve that so-called life-threatening danger without getting ourselves involved?”
"And this book of prophecy, couldn't the prophecies be a little more detailed?"
"If we go into more detail, it's not as simple as just 500 magic points."
How about approaching Dumbledore? The Weasleys work for him; he won't turn a blind eye.
“No.” Aaron refused decisively. “I can sense that our principal is under a lot of pressure. We absolutely cannot show up in front of him at this time.”
"Besides, he might not believe us even if we tell him. What if he finds out about the existence of the prophecy book..."
“Then this book is probably doomed,” Si Nian Ti chimed in.
“That’s what I mean,” Aaron said. As the battle between the White Demon King and the Black Demon King intensified, a book of prophecy became extremely important.
"Then send someone to deliver a letter there, anonymously."
"Send who?" Aaron retorted. "This is Hogwarts, not Gaius Castle. We can't order anyone around here."
“I’m talking about Transfiguration.” The psychic waved its wand, and a cup was transformed into a brown owl. “Let it deliver the letter.”
“This… is a solution, but I doubt the letter will get through,” Aaron said with a worried look. “Hogwarts’ communications are being monitored, with Dumbledore and Harry Potter being the main targets. If nothing unexpected happens, I’m being watched too.”
The owl would probably be intercepted before it even reaches Dumbledore's office, and if Umbridge intercepts the letter, the situation will become even more complicated.
Upon hearing this, the Missing Body was at a loss.
"This won't work, that won't work, we can't possibly take matters into our own hands!"
"Wait a minute," Aaron interrupted, "You mean you'll go personally?"
The thought-provoking entity paused for a moment, then quickly realized, "You don't really intend for me to deliver the letter, do you?"
“I’m not that stupid. I’ll definitely send the letter, but not to Dumbledore.”
"Then who should it be given to? Professor McGonagall?"
"No, no, no, at Hogwarts, besides the Headmaster and Vice-Headmaster, the people who care about Weasley the most are..."
“Weasley.” The thought suddenly realized, “Yes, sending a message to a Grand Magister or a Grand Magister at his peak is very risky, but sending a message to a mage is relatively easy.”
"What time is it now?" Aaron asked.
"It's just past midnight, and it's curfew time now."
"There's no time to lose, I need to go to the Gryffindor common room. You..."
“Ready.” The thought-form wrote the prophecy on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. “It’s written with my left hand, so no one will recognize it.”
Aaron secretly praised himself for his cleverness, then picked up the envelope and left the Temple of Divine Sound.
The door to the Slytherin common room quietly opened, and Aaron strode out, using the Disillusion Charm to conceal his form and the Silent Charm to mute his footsteps.
He jogged to the end of the corridor in the Gryffindor Tower, where a portrait blocked his way.
Looking at the plump lady dozing in the painting, Aaron's forehead creased with a few more black lines.
Damn it, I forgot there was a gatekeeper here, and he doesn't know the password to the Gryffindor common room.
After a moment's thought, Aaron removed the illusion spell and changed his appearance.
"Cough cough!"
A low cough was particularly clear in the quiet corridor.
The plump lady was still a little confused when she heard the voice, but she immediately came to her senses when she saw who was standing in front of her.
"Professor Dumbledore, is there something you need?"
“It’s extremely urgent, otherwise I wouldn’t want to disturb the young wizards’ rest,” Aaron said calmly in Dumbledore’s voice. “I don’t have time to explain, just open the door for me!”
"Okay, Principal."
The plump lady, unsuspecting, opened the circular entrance to the common lounge.
Others need a password to enter, but Dumbledore clearly has the privileges of being the headmaster.
Aaron raised an eyebrow at the sight. Although there were no portraits specifically guarding the Slytherin common room, the security was actually higher.
After all, their door only accepts passwords, and no one has special privileges.
Upon entering the common room, the fat lady closed the door behind her. Aaron used the Disillusionment Charm to conceal himself again, and then took out Captain Jack's compass.
He had been to the Gryffindor common room once, but he didn't really know where Ron's dormitory was, so he could only follow the signs.
He didn't use this magical item many times, but every time he did, he felt it was a waste of its potential.
Aaron quietly pushed open the door the compass indicated and tiptoed inside.
This dormitory is a five-person shared room; besides Ron, there are Harry, Seamus, Dean, and Neville.
Ignoring the snoring, Aaron walked to Ron's bedside, placed the anonymous letter on the bedside table, and cast a spell on the envelope so that it would automatically ring an alarm three minutes later.
Aaron breathed a sigh of relief after doing all this. It wasn't foolproof, but it was definitely the best he could do.
"what!"
A painful groan suddenly came from a few meters away.
Aaron glanced over instinctively and saw Harry convulsing on the bed, his face covered in cold sweat. Although he was asleep, he was still covering the scar on his forehead with his hands.
"I had a nightmare, and it was a nightmare about Voldemort," Aaron thought to himself, his brows furrowing involuntarily.
The Dark Lord's frequent activities are not a good sign, but it has little to do with him. The letter has been delivered, and leaving this place is the most urgent matter.
Aaron returned the way he came, but at a slower pace than when he came.
He returned to the Slytherin common room a dozen minutes later, and instead of going to the Hall of Shaking Gods, he went straight to his dormitory bed.
Shortly after he left, the letter rang like an alarm clock.
However, Ron was sleeping too soundly and only opened his eyes a few minutes later, filled with deep resentment.
He doesn't usually set an alarm clock, especially since Christmas is just around the corner and schools are closed, which would be perfect for a slacker like him to sleep in.
Now that his wish has been shattered, he's definitely not in a good mood.
"It's not over yet."
Ron angrily slammed his hand on the 'alarm clock' on the bedside table, already wondering whose prank it was.
It's best not to let him catch you, otherwise he'll definitely show the other person what a prefect's wrath is like.
However, the alarm clock stopped ringing, and the sensation in his hand felt different. He then realized that it wasn't an alarm clock at all, but an anonymous letter.
Ron was a little confused, and just as he was about to open the envelope, he heard Harry's painful cry.
This startled him greatly, and he immediately went to Harry, ignoring the envelope in his hand, and called out, "Harry, Harry."
Harry suddenly opened his eyes, gasping for breath.
Immediately afterwards, he felt a sharp tearing sensation in his forehead, which made his vision go black, and he vomited by the bedside.
“Harry, what’s wrong?” Ron asked worriedly. “Should we go to the school hospital to see Madam Pomfrey?”
“No.” Harry grabbed Ron’s arm quickly and said in a weak but very firm voice, “Your father, Mr. Weasley, is in trouble.”
"What?" Ron was stunned. "Dude, you're just dreaming."
“No!” Harry shouted anxiously, “It’s not a dream, it’s definitely not a dream.”
I saw it, that big snake. It was covered in blood from being bitten; it was very badly injured.
