"Yes, I will definitely learn this spell within a week," Sirin promised confidently.
"It's okay if you can't learn it. I'll probably be your temporary teacher for a long time. If you learn too fast, I won't have anything left to teach you."
Sirin left the Potions classroom happily, and Aaron restored the space, returning all the desks and chairs to their original positions.
"How do you feel?" Aaron teased. "Do you feel a strong sense of frustration?"
Draco nodded very reluctantly. "She really just comes from an ordinary wizarding family?"
"This is the prejudice of your Malfoy family."
"Bloodline does provide a talent boost, but it doesn't represent everything," Aaron said seriously. "Sirin comes from an ordinary background, but in the past hour or so, she went from being passively attacked to dodging attacks and then managing to launch a barely passable counterattack, to the point that even Malfoy found it strenuous."
Improving in combat sounds easy, but very few people can actually do it; at least in this respect, you can't compare to her.
Hermione is Muggle-born, but she consistently outperforms you academically and has mastered many useful spells.
Ron and Neville are purebloods, but they waste their talents even more than you do.
Draco was silent for a moment, then said seriously, "I'm certainly not inferior to them."
"Then you'll have to work hard. Set a small goal first: defeat Harry Potter."
Draco: ......
......
The second task has officially entered its initial stage, and Aaron feels much more relaxed.
By dedicating two hours to teaching each week, I can earn 500 magic points at the end of the school year, which is quite a good deal overall.
Aaron's school life returned to normal. Every day, besides signing in and attending classes, he practiced magic circles and steadily improved his strength.
But this peaceful period didn't last long; a few days later, Harry and his two friends cornered him in the library.
"Have you considered the Defense Against the Dark Arts class?" Hermione asked again.
call!
Aaron sighed helplessly. He hadn't expected these three to be so persistent, refusing to give up until they hit a brick wall.
"Well...you might be disappointed."
If there's anything you don't understand, feel free to ask me, but I won't be a teacher; it's too tiring.
“That’s unacceptable,” Ron complained. “You’d rather teach Slytherin than us?”
"Who told you?" Aaron frowned slightly. Apart from Draco and Sirin, only a few professors knew about this.
Draco and Celine would definitely not blab; Professor McGonagall would absolutely keep it a secret, as others might follow suit if word got out, which would put her in a difficult position as vice-principal; Umbridge was even less likely, as it would affect her authority; but it couldn't possibly be Professor Snape and Professor Flitwick, could it?
Just as Aaron was pondering this, Hermione suddenly asked, "Just tell us if this is true or not?"
"I am a Slytherin prefect, so it's perfectly reasonable for me to teach one or two students!"
"Okay! Let me put it another way."
"Would you rather teach Malfoy than us?"
"Draco told you?" Aaron looked at the three of them suspiciously. He didn't think Draco would be foolish enough to spread such a thing around.
“Malfoy is pretty arrogant, but he really didn’t snitch on us,” Harry said with a complicated expression. “You know him, he loves to see us looking curious but helpless. Why would he tell us this?”
The three of them exchanged a glance and fell into a brief silence.
“You might not believe it, but it’s Dobby,” Ron said hesitantly.
"Impossible, he's just a house-elf, how could he possibly know?"
“That just shows you underestimate house-elves,” Hermione said, annoyed. “Dobby was cleaning the school and happened to overhear Umbridge and Professor McGonagall talking when he passed by Professor McGonagall’s office. That old witch was very unhappy that you taught other students spells without permission!”
Dobby suspected Umbridge would try to target you, but since he couldn't get into the Slytherin common room, he asked Harry to warn you to be careful.
Aaron's lips twitched slightly, while a million thoughts raced through his mind.
An image of a weak, pitiful, and helpless house-elf appeared in his mind, but was torn to shreds in the next instant.
Isn't this just meddling in other people's business?
What could Umbridge do even if he disliked him? He still couldn't do anything about it.
But these three are different; their destructive power far surpasses that of the senior investigators, second only to Voldemort.
"So do you have anything to explain?" Hermione asked coldly.
"Ah this..."
A hint of embarrassment flashed across Aaron's face. He knew in his heart that it would be difficult to refuse this time, since he was in the wrong.
"Would you be willing to teach us?" Harry asked earnestly. "If not, that's fine too. We can try to figure it out ourselves."
"Hmm..." Aaron pursed his lips, forcing out a smile that looked more like a grimace. "Actually, it's not impossible."
“That means you agree,” Ron said, somewhat surprised.
Aaron nodded. Since he had already taught two, it shouldn't be a problem to teach three more!
Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all quite talented, so they shouldn't be too difficult to teach.
“Great! I knew you’d agree!” Hermione exclaimed excitedly.
Before Aaron could say anything, she continued, "Since you've already agreed, there's something I should tell you, but you can't lose your temper."
"You tell me first, and then I'll decide whether or not to lose my temper."
"You've been teaching two Slytherins for almost two weeks now."
“I only taught one lesson,” Aaron explained. “Okay! I won’t get angry.”
Hermione breathed a slight sigh of relief, and Harry and Ron also felt a sense of relief.
"That's right, we believe that we should not refuse anyone who wants to learn."
The magical world is no longer safe; we need to be able to protect ourselves, right?
"hehe!"
"Do you think what I said is wrong?" Hermione said with displeasure.
Aaron smiled without saying a word; he didn't think this ability could be improved through Defense Against the Dark Arts.
If a year of classes were enough to fight Voldemort and the Death Eater army, Dumbledore would have acted much earlier, and so many people wouldn't have died in the last Wizarding War.
"Tell me the truth! How many people did you hire?"
“It’s not certain yet, and we haven’t looked for him, but there certainly aren’t many,” Harry said confidently. “You know, not many people believe the Dark Lord is back. Even my roommates, except for Neville and Ron, all think I’m a fraud.”
Aaron nodded in agreement, then asked, "Approximately how many people?"
“Three or five would be ideal,” Hermione said thoughtfully. “That’s with you teaching. If it were Harry, probably none of them would come.”
Harry Potter: ......

"Three or five?" Aaron murmured. "Are you sure it's three or five?"
“I’m absolutely sure.” Hermione nodded firmly.
call!
Aaron took a deep breath and said in a deep voice, "Then let's say five. Add Draco, Sirin, and the three of you, that means I'll have to teach ten students!"
"is it hard?"
“Normally there would be no problem, but now Hogwarts has an extra senior investigator,” Aaron said with a half-smile. “Teaching two Slytherins is nothing, but with three more of you, it will be a lot of pressure. After all, Umbridge has been deliberately targeting Harry Potter, let alone three or five more.”
"As long as we don't get caught, that's fine," Ron said nonchalantly. He was just trying to avoid the teacher; they were too familiar with him.
"Haha! I really admire your mentality." Aaron slapped his forehead speechlessly. "What if you get caught? Umbridge is no pushover."
The three looked at each other, unsure of what to say.
The scar on Harry's hand is proof of Umbridge's cruelty; she shows no mercy when punishing her students.
"What I mean is, the more people there are, the more dangerous it is. If possible, don't involve other people..."
“No,” Hermione interrupted sternly. “That’s not fair to the others.”
"It's okay to be kind, but you have to think about the consequences!"
"At this point, it's good enough if we can even take care of ourselves," Aaron said earnestly. He could barely accept teaching five more than two, but teaching ten was not worthwhile.
Not only are the returns disproportionate to the efforts, but there are also certain risks involved.
"Just tell me if you'll say yes or no!" Hermione asked directly.
"I... I agree," Aaron said as if possessed, but he regretted it as soon as he finished speaking, and even wanted to slap himself twice.
“That’s great.” Hermione smiled and kissed Aaron on the cheek. “I knew you would say yes.”
"hehe!"
Aaron rolled his eyes, feeling inexplicably like he'd been taken advantage of.
"Let me make it clear beforehand that I am only responsible for teaching you Defense Against the Dark Arts, but I am not responsible for anything else."
Another issue is that I have limited time; I can only teach one class a week at most, and it cannot exceed two hours.
“No problem,” Harry said easily. “The homework assigned by the teacher, preparing for the regular wizarding exams, and Quidditch training all add up to a pretty tight schedule.”
“I’ll make all the arrangements,” Hermione said confidently. “We can spend the weekends at Hogsmeade starting in October and have our first meeting there.”
“Alright,” Aaron nodded. “Remember to find a secluded place.”
“I understand, we can’t let Umbridge notice this kind of gathering.”
......
Shenming Palace.
The thought entity stared speechlessly at its original form, wanting to curse but unable to utter a sound.
"Forget it, whether you're herding one sheep or a flock of sheep, it's all the same!"
