"Beautiful." Aaron's lips twitched, but he didn't say anything more.

With his current intermediate-level mage strength, he really couldn't do anything to Gaius. This butler was at least at the level of a mage, and might even be a grand mage.

But it doesn't matter. In public, he has to give Genes some face because he is Vico Gaius's bodyguard.

But once inside the castle, you are in charge and can do whatever you want without the steward's permission.

"May I try out Phantom Teleportation?"

"This?" Genes hesitated. "Young master, no, boss, you're really putting me in a difficult position. I can use Apparition on my own without any problem, and of course, I can bring another person with me, but I can't guarantee your safety 100%."

Just in case, I mean just in case!

If any damage is caused, I won't be able to explain it to the master.

Besides, you wouldn't like the feeling of apparition. Many wizards would rather use other modes of transportation than use this magic, even if they know it's convenient.

"Tch, this is so boring." Aaron said listlessly. "In that case, let's go back at six o'clock this afternoon! Otherwise, going back and forth like this all day is a waste of Floo Powder."

"Whatever makes you happy." Genes didn't care either.

......

For the next few days, Aaron continued his previous routine, but each day brought him more hope, because it meant that the dragon egg was one step closer to hatching.

On the seventh day, Aaron, for the first time ever, didn't go to Diagon Alley to check in. Instead, he stayed home staring at the pristine white dragon egg, afraid of missing the moment the little guy was born.

"Young...Young Master."

A soft call came from behind. Aaron turned around and saw a house-elf walking towards him with a letter.

"What a wonderful day! My parents have finally remembered that they even have a son like me?"

"No, young master."

This letter wasn't sent by the master and mistress, but it was sent specifically to you. When would you like to take a look at it?

"Sent to me?" Aaron was a little surprised, and laughed, "This is really interesting. I don't know who else but the two of them would send me a letter."

This doesn't mean Aaron is unpopular and doesn't know anyone except his parents.

He did have relatives, but if they wanted to send letters, they should have sent them directly to Vico Gaius or Lisanna Gaius, not to this eleven-year-old boy.

I do have friends, but most of them aren't close enough to exchange letters.

"Bring it here!"

“Yes, young master.” Yoby stepped forward and respectfully placed the letter in Aaron’s hand.

London

Gaius Castle

Mr. Aaron Gaius received

"Pretty simple." Aaron chuckled, turned the envelope over, and paused for a moment when he saw the logo on it.

The shield-shaped logo features a capital H in the center, with a lion, snake, badger, and eagle occupying the four corners of the shield.

That's not the most important thing. The most important thing is that the word 'Hogwarts' is written above the sign.

"Yorby, hurry, call Uncle Gene over here," Aaron said excitedly, tearing open the envelope with trembling hands.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Headmaster: Arbus Dumbledore (President of the International Federation of Wizarding Societies, Archmage of the Order of Merlin, Chief Wizard of Wizengamor)

Dear Mr. Gaius:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Attached is a list of required books and equipment.

The semester is scheduled to begin on September 1st, and we will be waiting for your reply by owl before July 31st.

principal

Sincerely, Abus Dumbledore

"Hahaha!"

After reading the letter word for word, Aaron wore a dazed smile. His laughter was somewhat eerie, but it didn't frighten people. Instead, it evoked a sense of sadness and sympathy.

"Young Master, you were looking for me?"

Genes suddenly appeared behind Aaron.

“Yes, that’s right.” Aaron composed himself, stood up stiffly, and slammed the ‘acceptance letter’ in his hand directly into his arms. “Take a good look, what is this?”

"A letter from Hogwarts?" Genes raised an eyebrow. "What are your thoughts, young master? To go or not to go?"

"Yes, of course I went."

My dad said that once I receive my acceptance letter from magic school, you guys won't be able to stay with me until I graduate. That's what I've always dreamed of!

Genes blinked and chuckled awkwardly, “The headmaster of Hogwarts is the strongest White Mage right now. The master believes he can protect the students’ safety, which is why he doesn’t let us follow. Of course, we can’t possibly play tricks under the nose of a Grand Magister.”

But the master actually prefers Durmstrang. It only admits pure-blood wizards, the teachers are quite good, and most importantly, the Gaius family can negotiate with the school, so you'll have someone to look after you.”

"What? Someone's taking care of you?" Aaron's eyes widened, and he said angrily, "No, I'm not going to Durmstrang, I'd rather die than go."

"Hogwarts, that's right, I'm going to Hogwarts! I'm going for freedom, and nobody can stop me!"

Genes' eye twitched slightly, and he kept thinking to himself: What do you mean you wouldn't go even if you killed me?

"Of course, the final decision rests with you, young master. Hogwarts it is!"

However, this matter is of great importance, so I must inform the master and mistress.

Aaron was silent for a moment before saying, "Alright! But I won't change my mind."

But we need to hurry. Today is July 24th. If they get carried away having fun on the other side of the world and don't make it back in time, they probably won't see their precious son for at least six months.

“Of course, I’ll go write a letter right away,” Genes said with a smile. He then glanced at the dragon egg on the table, sensing the faint magical fluctuations, life force, and inexplicable holiness emanating from it. “Young Master, shouldn’t the Master know about this dragon egg?”

“Okay.” Aaron nodded. After all, if they wanted to bring the little guy around openly in the future, they really needed their parents’ help. At the very least, they needed to get a legitimate permit.

"Yorby."

"Yes, sir." The house-elf immediately stood up straight. "What are your orders, young master?"

"Where's the owl that delivered the letter? I was planning to have it reply!"

“Yobby will bring it over right now,” the house-elf said, and quickly ran outside. When he returned, he was accompanied by a gray owl that was about half the size of him.

Aaron tore a piece of paper off the table, picked up a pen, and wrote a sentence:

I am honored to receive this admission letter, and I will report for duty on September 1st.

Sincerely, Aaron Gaius

“Isn’t this a bit too simple?” Genes said. This was the simplest letter he had ever seen, bar none.

“No need.” Aaron waved his hand and sealed the paper in the envelope. “First of all, I’m only eleven years old, a child, and I don’t have such sophisticated writing skills.”

Secondly, all Hogwarts wants is a reply. They won't give special treatment to anyone because of their writing skills, nor will they discriminate against anyone because of their poor writing skills.

If I were to write a long, rambling piece, people might not even have time to read it; instead, they might suspect that I had someone else write it for me.

Genes thought about it and it did seem to make sense, but he still secretly tapped his wand and changed the envelope to a more upscale one.

Chapter 5 The Mischievous and Adorable Baby Dragon

As dusk fell, Aaron's eyes, which were fixed on the dragon egg, became increasingly sore.

Just then, a ray of moonlight broke through the clouds and shone through the window onto the dragon egg, creating a tiny crack.

A faint white light diffused through the gap and shone on Aaron's face.

Feeling the holy and gentle light, Aaron felt incredibly calm, even suppressing the excitement of watching the little one hatch.

But deep down, I became even more curious about it.

The sheer wonder of its birth alone is enough to surpass most magical creatures.

The cracks on the eggshell slowly widened, and the radiance that shone through increased. The potted plants in the room were also affected, gaining vitality and blooming even more vigorously.

"This is..."

Genes suddenly sensed a strange magical power emanating from Aaron's room; though faint, it was of extremely high quality.

Without the slightest hesitation, he rushed to Aaron's bedroom. At this moment, he couldn't care less about etiquette. If anything happened to the young master, he would be held responsible to the death.

But when he opened the door, before he could even see what was inside, a white light blinded him, instantly calming him down.

Moreover, as he was bathed in these lights, he felt his energy rapidly recovering, and some of his old ailments were showing signs of improvement.

"What's going on?" Genes wondered to himself, then fixed his gaze on Aaron and the glowing dragon egg.

Click, click, click!

A small white claw emerged from the broken eggshell. The claw was not sharp and did not seem to have any offensive power, but it tugged at Aaron's heartstrings and made his heart beat faster.

A moment later, another identical claw emerged, waving wildly and causing even more violent impact on the already broken eggshell.

A soft whimpering sound came from the eggshell, and the eggshell shattered completely, revealing the little guy's appearance when he was born.

It has no sharp teeth or claws, and its entire body, including its hands and feet, is spotless white. Its two fluffy ears make you want to touch them.

In addition, the little guy has a white tail and a pair of small wings, with white on the outside and blue on the inside.

A few seconds later, the little guy opened his eyes and stared blankly at the boy in front of him with a pair of intelligent black eyes. His gaze was gentle and contained a hint of surprise, as if he wanted to imprint the boy's image in his heart.

Aaron felt the same way, but his heart was in turmoil.

He had naturally seen this kind of dragon before, the Holy Dragon from the Holy Dragon Knights.

And now it's become my pet, what incredible luck!

Then the little guy gave Aaron a smile, which almost melted his heart. He immediately reached out and touched its little head.

The little guy pressed his head against the shell, rubbed it gently a couple of times, and then walked over to the broken eggshell and started eating.

With the last fragment gone, the little guy let out a satisfied burp, lay quietly in Aaron's hand, and closed his eyes.

“Young Master,” Genes said softly.
