The werewolf opened its mouth wide and lunged to bite, but Aaron leaped high into the air and slammed his flaming right fist into the werewolf's chin.
boom!
The red flames drew an arc as the werewolf flew sideways for more than ten meters, crashing heavily into a tree. Several sharp teeth mixed with blood sprayed into the soil.
A moment later, the werewolf got up and roared madly at Aaron.
"Wow! Looks like I didn't hit him hard enough."
Aaron cracked his knuckles, and crimson flames surged from his hands.
He charged forward and unleashed a barrage of attacks on the werewolf.
The werewolf had virtually no ability to fight back and was pinned to a tree and brutally beaten.
The head, body, limbs, and every part of the front of the body came into close contact with the flames.
"Waaah, waaah..."
The werewolf lay on the ground, whimpering pitifully, looking even more miserable than a starving wild dog.
"roll."
Upon hearing this word, a glint flashed in the werewolf's eyes. He dragged his half-ripe body to his feet, staggering, and walked dejectedly into the depths of the forbidden forest.
Harry and Hermione stared at the scene in disbelief, completely dumbfounded.
They had wondered what powerful magic Aaron would use to subdue the werewolf, but they never expected him to simply and brutally use his fists, and even more unexpectedly, he actually won with his fists.
"Um... don't tell Professor Lupin," Aaron said somewhat embarrassedly. "He's a very responsible and good teacher, and it wouldn't sound good for him to be beaten up by his student."
The two looked at each other, then nodded blankly.
"Just now..." Hermione opened her mouth, "That definitely wasn't an ordinary punch, right?"
"Otherwise what?" Aaron rolled his eyes. "That's a werewolf! If we only rely on our fists without any magic, it'll probably take another half a minute to subdue him."
Hermione: ......
"What kind of magic is that? I've never seen it in any books."
“That’s right, you haven’t seen it.” Aaron waved his hand and said seriously, “This is magic that has disappeared from history. I also paid a great price to learn it.”
He spent countless magic points, sacrificed a ferocious dragon, and endured the agony of being burned alive before he barely managed to become a Dragon Slayer Mage.
This experience is enough to fill a book; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it a legend for most people.
“Poor Lupin, that was a tough night,” Harry remarked.
Suddenly, the three of them felt a chill and looked up to see swarms of Dementors flying over, blocking out the moonlight.
“Black.” Harry’s expression changed drastically as he thought of his godfather. “Let’s go.”
He ran at breakneck speed and brought the two of them to the lakeside.
On the other side of the lake was Sirius Black, who was in a coma, and Harry Potter, who was using the Patronus Charm to fend off Dementors.
However, the white, misty energy could only block the attacks of one or two Dementors. As more and more shadows appeared, the silver light grew dimmer and dimmed, eventually extinguishing.
A Dementor flew over Harry's head with a whooshing sound, followed by Harry's piercing scream.
"That's terrifying, isn't it?" Aaron clicked his tongue. "Harry, I have to admit that your father's generation was certainly not lacking in talent."
Sirius Black managed to remain conscious for twelve years in Azkaban; his willpower was truly remarkable.
“Because he is innocent,” Harry said.
"I don't deny it, but even the most innocent person couldn't withstand this situation, let alone the most virtuous one!"
“Don’t worry, someone will come. He will use the Patronus Charm to save you,” Hermione said bravely.
"Hurry up!" Harry muttered to himself, looking towards the spot where the figure from his memory had appeared.
Ah!
The Harry Potter of the past let out another scream and looked on the verge of collapse.
But Sirius Black fared even worse; the Dementors attacked him with far greater force than Harry did.
A fragile blue-white dot of light floated out of his mouth and slowly rose.
"Is that a soul?" Aaron asked in surprise. It was the first time he had ever seen this type of soul, which looked incredibly fragile.
Why aren't they here yet?
Hermione said anxiously, at this point she had lost all confidence.
If that wizard doesn't show up soon, Black's soul will be devoured by the Dementors, and even Harry is in grave danger.
Aaron was also conflicted about whether or not to intervene. It concerned the reward of 800 magic points, and he really couldn't bear to watch Sirius die.
"Fuck Fuck!"
In the moment when Harry fell into a coma, Aaron finally made his decision and leaped out of the woods.
"Call the gods to protect you!"
A silver raven flew from the tip of the wand, emitting a loud cry, and swiftly flew towards the unconscious Harry Potter and Sirius Black. Layers of dazzling silver light then spread in all directions, covering an area of hundreds of meters, visible even to those near the Whomping Willow.
Faced with this powerful and restraining magic, the Dementors were caught off guard and scattered in panic.
As the Dementors vanished, that fragile glimmer of light returned to Sirius's mouth.
Having completed its mission, the silver raven flew back and perched obediently on Aaron's shoulder.
Aaron stroked the raven's feathers, turned around and looked at the two people whose eyes were practically popping out of their sockets, "I knew this guardian spell seemed familiar before, it turns out it was me who released it."
"You...this..." Hermione opened her mouth as if to say something but hesitated, "How did you do that?"
"I already know the Guardian Charm, so isn't it only natural for me to drive away the Dementors?"
You absolutely must keep this a secret; I don't want everyone to know."
“But this isn’t just one or two Dementors!” Harry swallowed hard in disbelief. “You chased away hundreds of Dementors, and the Patronus Charm’s range is way too wide!”
“Dumbledore used the same Patronus Charm on the Quidditch pitch,” Hermione said with a complicated expression. “But he was the Headmaster, the undisputed strongest White Wizard, while you…”
Hermione wanted to say that this was not something a third-year wizard could do, but looking at the silver raven on Aaron's shoulder, she couldn't say anything.
Aaron then realized that he had gone too far this time. With a thought, the raven on his shoulder turned into specks of light and disappeared. He himself staggered and almost fell to the ground.
"Are you alright?" Hermione and Harry immediately helped him up.
"My magic power is severely depleted; I'll probably need to rest for a night," Aaron said weakly.
"Really?" A hint of doubt flashed in Hermione's eyes. Why did this seem like an act?
“Of course it’s true.” Aaron raised his right hand, looking exhausted. “Take a look if you don’t believe me.”
Hermione paused for a moment, then realized that Aaron wasn't wearing the Demon-Sealing Ring, which meant he had gone all out this time—a plausible explanation.
Chapter 328 The Prison Break, Snape's Notebook
The two helped Aaron into the woods, and a few minutes later, the Ministry of Magic arrived.
They had come with the Dementors, and although they didn't know why they had left in such a sorry state, seeing the unconscious Harry Potter and Sirius Black, nothing else seemed to matter.
The person we need to protect is still alive, and the person we need to capture is here. This is a stroke of good luck!
After they carried the two men away, the three of them breathed a sigh of relief.
Hermione glanced at her watch. "It's almost time. There are still forty-five minutes before Dumbledore closes the doors of the Colonel's Hospital."
Whether we can rescue Sirius depends on these 45 minutes. We can't be discovered by anyone, and we need to get back to the ward as soon as possible.
Harry untied the rope binding Buckbeak, climbed onto its back, and tied the end of the rope to the other end of the collar to use as reins.
"Come up here."
Hermione hesitated; she was a little scared and dared not ride the hippogriff.
Aaron immediately showed a look of disgust, "Forget it, I'm not used to riding a horse with other people."
"What time is it, and you're still thinking about this?" Harry said dejectedly. "Don't worry, I have experience in handling it, I guarantee it's safe."
"How about... we give it a try?" Hermione suggested tentatively.
Aaron remained silent and took the magic carpet out of the system space.
“I’d forgotten you had this.” Harry looked at the dark blue blanket floating several centimeters above the ground and felt a little relieved. “Stay close to me.”
After saying that, Harry glared at Buckbeak's belly and spurred it to fly towards the upper floors of the castle.
"Let's go!" Aaron pulled Hermione onto the magic carpet and followed behind Harry.
They stopped at the top of the Black Tower. Sirius, who was feeling hopeless in his cell, heard the sound of wings flapping outside.
He stared wide-eyed out the window, momentarily at a loss for what to do.
"Open the Alaho hole!"
Aaron opened the cell door and dragged him out. "This is your second escape attempt. Don't waste your time if you don't want your soul to be sucked by the Dementors."
Sirius immediately understood and quickly jumped onto the back of the hippogriff.
"Bakbick, let's go!"
The hippogriff spread its wings again, and Sirius Black reveled in the feeling of freedom, laughing heartily in the night sky.
They landed outside the clock tower, and the four of them landed smoothly.
"I will never forget your life-saving grace. Thank you."
"Forget about gratitude," Aaron said bluntly. "I only have one request: if we get caught again, please, please don't betray me."
Sirius: ......
“I want to go with you,” Harry said hesitantly.
"Later, I'll be wandering around for a while." Sirius hesitated for a moment. "How are Ron and Lupin?"
“They’ll be back to normal by tomorrow.” Aaron urged, pushing him toward the hippogriff. “You have to get out of here, and we have to get out of here too. If they find out we helped a heinous murderer escape, Genes will be criticizing me for days.”
"But he is innocent."
“That’s enough for you to know,” Sirius said, looking at Harry with satisfaction. “There’s one more thing, you’ve probably heard it all before: you really do look like your father, except for your eyes…”
