"If you want to know, I can tell you later."
Aaron knew that what Snape knew was the same version that most people knew.
Thinking of the grudges between Snape, Sirius, and Lupin, he forced a smile. "Professor, you certainly don't want to miss his struggle before he died."
It's quite interesting to see what other tricks he can come up with to justify his crimes, isn't it?
Snape's expression brightened. "That makes some sense."
Sirius stared in astonishment, his eyes widening, and felt inexplicably heartbroken.
He opened his mouth, as if to say something, but Lupin interrupted him first.
"Shut up, Blake."
Although explaining the truth in this way is somewhat difficult, it's quite remarkable that Snape, who captured them, was even allowed to finish what they had to say.
Snape cornered the two against the wall with his wand, and Aaron immediately wiped the chair clean. "Professor, please sit down."
Leave the rest to me. You can watch with peace of mind; I promise I won't let you down.
"You've never let me down."
Snape smirked and sat down smugly.
Seeing his two enemies cowering before him, he felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
Harry, Harry, and his two friends looked at each other in disbelief. "Can you even do this?"
Although something felt off, managing to keep Snape calm was enough to achieve the goal.
“Severus, I will never forget what happened today,” Sirius said, humiliated.
"That's wonderful, I won't forget it."
Lupin looked at Aaron, "Should we start from the beginning?"
"Uh... let's continue!"
"What did he say before?" Snape asked curiously.
He said Sirius, James, and Little Pettigrew are Animagus.
"It's ridiculous, only seven people registered."
"But I do hope it's true. An illegal Animagus is an even greater crime!" Snape said calmly, but as soon as he finished speaking, something occurred to him. "Is it true? So Black was able to avoid the Dementors?"
“If nothing unexpected happens,” Aaron shrugged, then pointed at Scabbers, “they also said that Peter Pettigrew isn’t dead, it’s that rat.”
“They have no evidence.” Ron hugged Scabbers nervously. “There are millions of rats in the world. Sirius is locked up in Azkaban. How would he know which one to catch?”
"I must say, Weasley, you've really impressed me!" Snape exclaimed.
He simply disliked Ron, but he harbored intense hatred for Sirius and Lupin.
“You should have some evidence, shouldn’t you?” Hermione said with a complicated expression. “Mr. Black wouldn’t have come to Hogwarts to kill a mouse just based on a gut feeling, would he?”
“Miss Granger,” Snape said irritably, “watch your language. One of them is a murderer and the other a werewolf. They are not worthy of being addressed as ‘sir’.”
“We’ll give you some proof right now. Give me Peter, and my wand.”
"Lupin, you want the wand, don't you?"
Do you think I'd be so stupid as to return your wand to you?
“Giving just that mouse is fine too,” Sirius said, a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes.
Banban immediately struggled violently, making squeaking noises, but was firmly suppressed by Ron's large hand.
“No, absolutely not.” Ron immediately refused. “You’ll kill Scabbers. Look how scared it is.”
“Blake, is there any other evidence?” Lupin said speechlessly. “Don’t we need to use Peter’s evidence directly?”
Sirius hesitated for a moment, then pulled a folded piece of paper from his robe and unfolded it to show everyone.
"The Daily Prophet?" Aaron looked at Ron. "If I'm not mistaken, it should be a Weasley family portrait!"
“These are photos from our family trip to Egypt,” Ron asked, puzzled. “Why did you take them out?”
“This is from Fudge, when he was inspecting Azkaban,” Sirius explained. “Peter probably never imagined I’d find him in a photograph; he was perched on your shoulder.”
Aaron took the photo and compared it to Banban. "It's true, Ron. You'd better keep a close eye on your rat."
"You also think it's a dwarf star?"
"That's him. Look at his front paw, isn't it missing a toe?"
Twelve years ago, only one of Peter's fingers was found at the crime scene.
“That coward cut it off and made people think he was dead,” Sirius said. “Just before he transformed, he yelled that I betrayed Lily and James, then he killed everyone within twenty feet and scurried into the gutter with the other rats.”
"What a talent! He's really ruthless to himself just to save his life," Aaron sighed. "I think we should just kill him now; keeping this kind of rat around is just asking for trouble."
"Let's draw up a contract afterwards, and keep what happened tonight a secret."
“I agree.” Sirius looked at Aaron with appreciation. “I am very grateful. Please let me do it.”
“Wait a minute,” Snape interrupted.
“Severus, we’ve already said all this, don’t you understand?” Lupin said speechlessly, “Is it really worth it just because of a grudge from our school days?”
Imprisoning innocent people in Azkaban while letting the real culprits go unpunished?
“I think I understand what’s going on, but as far as I know, Black is supposed to be their secret keeper,” Snape said disdainfully. “If he hadn’t betrayed them, the Void wouldn’t have been able to find them by crossing the Fidelity Charm.”
"It was because I persuaded them to change the Secret Agent at the last minute. I thought I could divert Voldemort's attention to me. No one would have thought that Little Star would become the Secret Agent."
But when I saw their bodies, I realized what Peter had done, and what I had done—it was as if I had killed them. Sirius's hoarse voice gradually choked up, as if revealing the truth had drained all his strength.
"Now you understand?" Lupin shrugged. "If you still don't understand, give me your wand and I'll make him reveal his true form."
Snape frowned and looked at Ron. "Give it to me."
"Can..."
"Don't make me say it a second time, Weasley."
“Ron, give him the mouse,” Harry said.
Ron was on the verge of tears. "Professor Snape, what are you going to do with it?"
“I just want to see if the truth is what they say.” Snape stood up, took the struggling rat from Ron, and pointed it at it with his wand.
A flash of blue light appeared, and the rat rapidly grew larger, undergoing tremendous changes in its body, head, and limbs.
This was a short, fat man with messy hair, a bald patch in the middle, rat-like features on his face, dirty and wrinkled skin, and an overall aura of sleazy demeanor.
Chapter 322 Please give me your autograph, I won't shed tears until I see the coffin.
"Tsk! I've really seen something new today," Aaron exclaimed, then took out his pen and paper for practicing magic circles from his pocket and walked up to Little Star. "Please be sure to sign this for me. Your survival instinct is something I've never seen before. Maybe if I encounter any insurmountable obstacles in the future, thinking of you might help me persevere."
Little Pettigrew was dumbfounded. Did this child not understand the situation?
I'm busy escaping for my life, how can I have time to sign autographs?
The others were also somewhat dumbfounded; Aaron's outrageous move had truly shocked them.
"An autograph? Yes, yes, that's fine," Little Star stammered, but his eyes swept over Aaron.
There are three mages in the room who are no weaker than him, so the chances of him escaping are slim. However, if there is a hostage, that would be a different story.
But after a moment's thought, he decisively abandoned the plan.
It was too dangerous. First, he didn't have a wand, and second, Black, Lupin, and Snape were all watching him closely, so he had no chance to make a move.
Peter Pettigrew shakily wrote his name on the paper, and Aaron smiled as he put away the signature, subtly flicking his wand.
Blood suddenly spurted out, Peter Pettigrew's left thumb fell to the floor, followed by his painful scream.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Aaron chuckled awkwardly, wrapped the severed finger in a signed note, and put it in his pocket. "I'm really curious about what it was like when you cut your finger twelve years ago."
"you..."
Little Pettigrew looked at Aaron with a hint of fear in his eyes and couldn't help but take two steps back.
At this moment, Aaron posed a danger to him no less than that of Blake and Lupin. His innate survival instinct told him that this kid might seem harmless, but when it came to killing, he would not hesitate.
"Well done," Sirius praised. "Although I personally don't like Slytherin wizards much, you seem to be an exception."
"Tch!" Snape scoffed, saying coldly, "I'll believe you for now."
"The facts are right in front of us, and it's no use if you don't believe us."
"Then you'd better not let him get away."
“No, absolutely not,” Lupin said, then looked at Peter Pettigrew, “Hello, Peter, it’s been a long time.”
“Limos, Black, my old friends.” Peter Pettigrew opened his arms as if to hug him, then rushed toward the door.
Lupin and Black were about to stop him when Aaron kicked him in the stomach.
Peter Pettigrew crashed heavily into the wall, with half of his body sticking out of the house.
Ignoring the physical pain, he quickly regained his composure, trying to leave the screaming shack through the hole he had created. "Come back," Aaron waved his wand, and Pettigrew's chubby body flew backward, landing in the center of the shack.
Peter Pettigrew glanced around, then quickly walked up to Harry Potter. "Harry, look at you! You're just like your father. We're best friends."
Before he could finish speaking, Sirius Black stepped in front of Harry and sternly rebuked him, "How dare you speak to Harry, how dare you mention James in front of him!"
Little Pettigrew hurriedly tried to back away, but Lupin blocked him again. He and Sirius, in perfect unison, forced him behind a piano.
“You betrayed James and Lily to Voldemort,” Lupin said, pointing his wand at Pettigrew.
"I didn't want to either!" Little Pettigrew said indignantly. "That Dark Lord, who knows what weapons he has? Ask yourself, what would you do?"
“I would rather die than betray my friends,” Sirius said.
Peter Pettigrew crawled under the piano, intending to rush towards the door.
But as soon as he looked up, he saw Aaron smiling at him.
"It's you again?" Little Pettigrew said speechlessly, "Why is it you again?"
Aaron patted him on the shoulder, gently pulled him out from under the piano, and patted the dust off him.
"Don't be nervous, I have a small question that I need your help with."
