"Yes, Sirius Black, son of Orion Black."

As a noble among pure-blooded individuals, he possesses powerful magical talent. If he works hard, he might even break through to become a Grand Magus at this age.

Unfortunately, he squandered his talent during his prime years and spent twelve years imprisoned in Azkaban, causing his abilities to regress rather than improve.

"A pure-blood wizard!" Aaron sighed inexplicably. "What did he do wrong?"

"Thirteen Muggles were killed."

"What? Has he gone mad?"

“Perhaps!” Genes shrugged. “When the Ministry of Magic arrested him, he just stood there laughing and didn’t even put up any resistance. He just obediently followed them away.”

However, Fudge's idea to use Muggle methods to issue a warrant for his arrest was truly a desperate measure.

"Muggles can't do anything to a wizard, let alone Sirius Black, who is a powerful wizard."

"Let the Ministry of Magic worry about it; this has nothing to do with me," Aaron said nonchalantly, then picked up Abe and headed towards the family's secret chamber.

Upon opening the door to the first secret chamber, Aaron found himself in the familiar forge.

With practiced ease, he placed his palm on the black stone pillar, and Arg's memories were summoned.

"Welcome home. How long have you been in another world?"

"About six months."

"Not too long, not too short," Alger commented fairly. "It's clear you've grown a lot, both in appearance and in character."

"Thank you for the compliment." Aaron smiled shyly. "Ancestor, I specifically came to you today to ask you to help me forge a weapon."

"This is interesting. Do you think I wouldn't want the weapons I forged in my lifetime?"

“No, I want my own weapon.” Aaron said, taking out the Heart of Lonely Mountain. “The Heart of Lonely Mountain was a gift from a friend in another world.”

It's priceless, but it would be beneath its value to merely display it, so I want to forge it into a weapon.

“A good idea.” Arg stared intently at the Heart of Lonely Mountain, which was emitting a milky white light. “Excellent material, it would rank in the top twenty even in my collection.”

"And they're only in the top twenty?"

"What do you think the Gaius family has accumulated over countless generations is?" Alger retorted. "This stone is very beautiful, but besides its beauty, its only advantage is its hardness."

Aaron pouted in disappointment, but had nothing to say.

"But that's just the surface; this stone has another purpose as well."

For example, strengthening one's mental power, if used properly, can, to some extent, resist attacks on the mind or soul.

Aaron immediately became interested. "Looks like it's not all show and no substance after all!"

"You have two choices. The first is to have some gorgeous jewelry made and give it to your future wife..."

“I’ll go with the second one.” Aaron’s lips twitched; he didn’t understand why so many people were interested in his life’s most important matters.

"The second is to forge a weapon according to your idea."

However, there are three different options. First, craft a dagger; this stone will be just enough.

Secondly, I can forge a sword for you. I can add some materials privately and have someone else enchant it, ensuring it's no weaker than the one you used last year.

"And the third one?" Aaron asked impatiently.

"The third is to forge a divine artifact. But don't get too excited yet, this stone alone is far from enough."

Aaron clicked his tongue in amazement, and after a long silence, he finally spoke: "Let's choose third place!"

"Have you thought this through? Forging a divine artifact requires a lot of resources and a lot of time."

Personally, I'd prefer you choose the second option; it would be much more helpful for you at this stage.

"This stage of development is for the future!" Aaron exclaimed. "What resources are needed?"

"Rare ores, all kinds of magical materials, the more the better."

Aaron immediately flashed a fawning smile. "Ancestor, what about your stockpiles?"

“Impossible.” Arger refused very seriously. “If you choose the second option, I can afford to pay a little, but the third is going too far.”

"If you lose one-tenth of your inventory, what are the descendants of the Gaius family supposed to do?"

Aaron: ......

You can't even bear to part with one-tenth of it?

Chapter 291 Early Retirement, A Murderer Escapes from Prison

Arg threw the Heart of Lonely Mountain into the furnace, but the Arkenstone did not change under the high temperature of thousands of degrees.

"Hmm...it might take a little longer, so you can use this time to gather other materials."

Aaron nodded slowly and then went to the seventh secret room.

As soon as he stepped into the secret room, Vicht floated in front of him with a look of relief on his face. "I knew you would come back safely."

"I almost didn't make it back alive."

“That makes me somewhat interested,” Vicht said thoughtfully, looking at Aaron. “He’s gotten quite strong.”

"Can you tell my current strength?" Aaron asked nervously. He hadn't brought the Demon-Sealing Ring this time, nor had he separated his thoughts; he hadn't made any attempt to conceal his abilities.

Vicht hesitated for a moment, then nodded blankly.

"You really wouldn't notice it if you didn't look closely. He's a high-level archmage, just one step away from being a grand archmage."

What exactly did you experience in that other world?

"That's my own secret, I don't want to talk about it."

"Never mind if you don't want to talk about it." Vicht curled his lip and said with amusement, "Are you interested in fighting me again? I can suppress my strength to the level of a mid-level Archmage."

Aaron decisively waved his hand in refusal. Having learned his lesson from being thoroughly humiliated once, he was determined not to fall into the same trap twice.

"What a pity, I was hoping to teach you some more advanced magic!"

"Heh!" Aaron rolled his eyes at him speechlessly. "I can't even cast advanced elemental magic instantly right now, and I've hardly ever used ultimate magic circles. Even if you taught me, I might not have time to learn!"

“Not bad.” Vicht raised an eyebrow, satisfied. “You know you shouldn’t aim too high.”

Aaron shrugged; he always preferred to be down-to-earth.

The reason why I didn't immediately use magic points to upgrade my strength to Grand Magister is this: no matter how good the hardware is, if the software can't keep up, it's just an empty shell.

"Ancestor, do you think Dumbledore can see through my current strength?"

"I won't shy away from your attitude. It's possible to sense things up close, unless you break through to the level of a Grand Magister."

Upon hearing this, Aaron felt a slight ripple in his heart and silently made a decision: he would wear the Demon-Sealing Ring when he wasn't using his Thought Body.

We need to play it safe and develop stealthily, then surprise that old geezer.

"Understood. I'll go talk to Ancestor Flo first. If nothing unexpected happens, I won't come here before the start of the semester."

“I understand.” Vicht gave him a knowing look, “I recommend you go to the library in Diat. Some of our predecessors recorded their stories there.”

You can take a look at it; it's good for broadening your horizons and relaxing.

“I’m more interested in the magic recorded there.” Aaron chuckled awkwardly and turned to walk into the twenty-eighth secret chamber.

“Ancestor Flo, your beloved descendant has returned.”

Flo's memories were summoned, and he looked Aaron up and down, a satisfied smile appearing on his lips. "Looks like you've had a good haul."

"I guess so! We fought a major war that concerned the safety of the world."

"I helped the side of justice win this war." Aaron scratched his head sheepishly, "Although I don't think they would have lost even without me."

“But having you will save many lives,” Flo said meaningfully. “Isn’t that right?”

Aaron was stunned for a moment, then gave Flo a thumbs up. "I knew you were a psychology expert, ancestor. I hadn't even said a word before you gave me this dose of chicken soup for the soul."

“It seems you’re mentally healthy.” Flo chuckled self-deprecatingly. “That puts my mind at ease.”

"If nothing unexpected happens, I won't be coming to see you before the start of the semester."

"Right now, what you need most is to relax. It's really not appropriate for you to be with us teachers."

If you're feeling bored, you can visit Diat's library; it records many interesting things that might be helpful.

Aaron frowned slightly, sensing that there was something more to what Wicht and Flo had said.

But he didn't care much; living in the moment was the most important thing.

......

After leaving the secret room, Aaron took Abe to his small shop in Diagon Alley.

Genes followed closely behind him, with two other bodyguards also secretly following. However, he understood that after running away from home several times, these people were now very easily frightened.

In other words, his strength is still somewhat lacking now, but in another year or two, these people will be unable to control him.

For a whole week, Aaron seemed to have entered into retirement life ahead of schedule.

Aside from collecting money when the shop closes at night, he spends the rest of his time either shopping or chatting and laughing with other shop owners, and occasionally goes to Ollivanders Wand Shop to play chess with his great-uncle.

The place I frequented most was the Leaky Cauldron. It was a mixed bag of people, but you could find out almost everything about the wizarding world there.

"Lying down is so pleasant!" Aaron was leisurely reading the newspaper in the store. Next to him was a neatly dressed baby dragon, but surprisingly, the baby dragon had a straw in its mouth, and a large bottle of milk was visibly decreasing as it sucked on it.

"Young Master, don't you get bored resting like this?" Genes said, both amused and exasperated. "You're still young, it's the perfect time for you to study hard."

"Hehe! I'm only fourteen this year, no, I should be thirteen."

What were you doing when you were thirteen?

"The old patriarch had me learn about Muggle knowledge and the history of the magical world."

Aaron: ......

Holy crap! The elite of the butler world!

"Ahem! It's not that I don't know my limits."

"I killed at least four figures of enemies in another world, and I need a lively and peaceful environment to dissipate the anger in my heart," Aaron said seriously. "Besides, lying down doesn't mean giving up; normal training will resume starting tomorrow."

Genes immediately felt relieved. "I'll start making the timetable right away."
