This was the first time Robin had ever sworn an insult, calling Spandam an idiot. Even the word "idiot" felt like an insult to him.

Spandam, however, didn't seem to care at all, and instead appeared to be in complete control.

"Ah, that's enough... It's no big deal for the World Government."

"That bastard Katie Fram burned the blueprints for Hades."

"So you've become the only clue to the ancient weapon!!"

"This is about combat power that could revolutionize an era!!"

"If only we could completely eliminate...those idiots who want to take you away!!"

"The sacrifice of several thousand soldiers was unavoidable for a brighter future!!"

Bai Yun really didn't understand how this guy became a superior officer, casually sending his subordinates to their deaths. Was it a case of following in his father's footsteps?

His smug expression went unnoticed; the Den Den Mushi was still on, and the soldiers on the island heard their commander's true colors through the radio.

"Huh? What is this guy saying? He wants to sacrifice us? Are you kidding me?!"

In response to Spandam's statement, Robin shouted angrily, "What do you think human lives are?!"

Upon hearing this, Bai Yun felt that Spandam should be cut into pieces of over a thousand before setting up the set.

"Don't forget, CP9 is the World Government's assassination agency. If saving 1000 people requires sacrificing 100!"

"Then we can kill 100 people without hesitation!! True justice is inevitably accompanied by ruthlessness!!"

"Besides, these incompetent soldiers can't even stop pirates, so what if they die?"

"What kind of dictator's dog...dog's speech!!"

Bai Yun originally wanted to swear, but thinking of his luck, he forced himself to change it.

The guards received shocking news once again.

They took it seriously.

"No wonder he stayed with Nico Robin all this time but didn't rescue him."

The Straw Hat Pirates, of course, knew that this was just Hakuyun playing tricks on Spandam.

Is Hakuyun a Navy spy? You could even say Luffy is the grandson of a Navy hero – that's highly plausible! (?ω?)

"You should worry about your own reputation first, because the Den Den Mushi is spreading your words."

Bai Yun pointed to the Den Den Mushi in Spandam's hand.

Spandam then realized what was happening.

"Huh!! What?! Oh no!! Did what I just said get out?!?"

"Um...actually...I'm Straw Hat Luffy..."

Spandam was trying to bury his head in the sand.

However, the guards weren't stupid.

"Who are you kidding?!"

Robin, disregarding everything else, went straight to the Den Den Mushi and shouted, hoping Luffy and the others could hear her.

"Everyone, get off this island immediately!!"

"Enies Lobby is about to be bombed by a Buster Call!!"

Everything on the island will be reduced to nothing!!!

Seeing this, Spandam gritted his teeth and slapped him, yelling, "Shut up!!!"

However, before he could strike, Bai Yun grabbed him. At the same time, Bai Yun swept the Den Den Mushi from Spandam's hand. The Den Den Mushi rolled down the stairs and broke, instantly cutting off the call.

"Bai Yun, you..."

"Snapped!"

Spandam was suddenly slapped by Bai Yun and fell down on the stairs.

He was stunned.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy?! Long-haired Bai Yun!!!"

"Don't think you can hit me just because you're one of Garp's people!!!"

Spandam shouted.

Bai Yun is the kind of person who listens to advice, and then he slaps him.

"Snapped!!"

"Otherwise, I'd say you're stupid, Spandam, CP9 commander."

"I do know Vice Admiral Garp, but unfortunately, I am not his spy. I am a genuine pirate, Long-Haired White Fortune."

"What!!!!"

Spandam didn't even know what he had said; his eyes were wide open, and he couldn't believe what he had just heard.

Chapter 505 Just a joke

"What?! This is impossible!!"

Bai Yun revealed that he wasn't actually an undercover agent but a genuine pirate, which Spandam found hard to believe. Was he really keeping a pirate by his side?

This is like strapping yourself to a time bomb!

"impossible!!"

Spandam turned around and started climbing up, using both his hands and feet.

"Don't come any closer!!!"

"Long hair, white luck!!!"

"Let me tell you, I work for the World Government. If you dare touch me, the World Government will not let you get away with it!!!"

Bai Yun strode over and smiled.

“You seem to overestimate yourself, Spandam.”

"Who do you think you are? Do you think the world government would go to war for you?"

"Besides, even if I don't touch you, our World Government has already formed a grudge against you. Taking action against you again would just be adding a little something extra."

Upon hearing this, Spandam immediately turned around and thrust out his elephant sword.

"Get out of my way!!"

"Ivory Assault!!"

Spandam thrust out his elephant sword, and Van Kefried's elephant head, along with its trunk which transformed into a long blade and tusks, extended towards Bai Yun.

Bai Yun simply raised his hand and slapped the elephant's head, causing it to tilt to the side.

The elephant's eyes, now only clear and innocent, seem foolish, as if it can't believe it's been slapped.

"Ha ha ha ha!!"

But Bai Yun suddenly smiled.

“Just kidding, Mr. Spandam, CP9 commander.”

Bai Yun's unpredictable moods left Spandam bewildered.

"Wha...what?!"

Bai Yun spread his hands, shrugged, and explained.

"As I've said before, I get very into character."

"Until the Straw Hat Pirates are dealt with, I am one of them. I will not allow you to attack Nico Robin at will."

"So, I'm just fulfilling my duty as a partner and reminding you not to resort to violence."

"Of course, if the Straw Hat Pirates are defeated, then you can do whatever you want with them."

After saying all that, Bai Yun just couldn't help wanting to hit Spandam to vent his anger.

"Do you understand, sir Spandam CP9?"

Bai Yun asked.

Spandam's mind was a mess; he couldn't figure out what was wrong with Bai Yun, but he thought, "I... I think I understand..."

"So, shall we... continue escorting Nico Robin?"

Bai Yun nodded, looking like he was a promising student.

"That's right, but you can't just act recklessly. However, once you're in the Justice League, it means the Straw Hat Pirates have lost, so I won't interfere then."

He then helped Spandam up.

"You can understand me, right? Everyone has a little quirk. Getting too into character is one of mine."

Spandam gave a forced smile and chuckled twice, "Haha..."

Thinking to myself, if I say I don't understand, I'm afraid you'll slap me again. Damn it, after this is all over, I'm going to report you and make you a lowly toilet cleaner in the navy!!
