It hit Garp squarely on the head, the resounding clang indicating that Garp's head was intact.

People sleep on the road, people come down from the sky.

Karp was sleeping soundly when he was hit so hard that one of his eyeballs bulged out. Bai Yun and the news bird rolled down his head and onto the front of him.

"Who dares to ambush me!"

Garp was jolted awake and immediately became alert. "Dare to ambush me in front of my grandson? Do you think my fists aren't strong enough?!"

But the "assassin" didn't see them; instead, he saw two creatures in front of him.

A child and a newsbird.

The two of them had circles under their eyes; they had probably fainted.

"Grandpa, they suddenly fell from the sky and hit you."

Little Luffy kindly reminded him.

Garp nodded. "How did this kid end up falling from the sky?"

"Uh..."

Bai Yun slowly opened his eyes, his vision gradually clearing from blurry to bright, revealing a wooden ceiling.

"Where is this?"

The standard lines after waking up from a coma.

Bai Yun felt his body was incredibly heavy, like a stone pressing down on him, and he didn't even feel like he belonged to anyone. Moving his body even slightly was incredibly painful, like his body was falling apart.

With all his might, he lifted his hands, which were covered in bandages.

I glanced around at the room. The layout was simple: a bed, a bedside table, and a clock on the opposite wall. There was nothing else.

"Who was the kind person who saved me?"

Turning his head back to the ceiling, Bai Yun stared at it again. With nothing to do and still lying in bed, it was the perfect time to contemplate life.

"That idiot system!"

Before he could even think about his future, Bai Yun heard the voice of that unique system echoing in his mind, and he was so angry that his teeth ached.

"He stopped mid-sentence!!"

"I'm so damn grateful to you for being so sickly!"

"The Replicate Fruit? If it can replicate other people's skills and abilities, and even Devil Fruit abilities can be replicated, then this skill is overpowered."

"And what about its real name? Could this fruit be the same as Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit?"

"The most crucial question is, what the hell is the third ability?!"

Bai Yun's obsessive-compulsive disorder—he'd only say half of what he was saying and then stop, he'd only understand half of what he was talking about and then stop believing—was absolutely awful.
