"Otherwise, we won't have time to set off!"

Under Kurikate's serious reminder, the Straw Hat crew embarked on the "Southward Bird Capture Plan".

........

Wow! It's so dark.

The group arrived in the forest, and Luffy exclaimed, unsure whether he was afraid or excited, but it was probably more excited.

Zoro just wanted to finish quickly and go back to drinking.

Chopper's tongue lolled out; he felt a bit bloated because he had eaten too much.

Nami was shocked by how suddenly things had happened.

Usopp clung tightly to Sanji's waist, "sticking" to his back.

"Don't stick to me!"

Sanji pushed Usopp with his hand.

Holding his waist, Usopp thought, "Never mind. Nami, Robin, please."

Usopp bit his finger, looking around at the pitch blackness, terrified.

"Honestly, they should have told us this during the day!"

"Also, that bastard Bai Yun is quite cunning. He said he had something to do and left Xiao Bai for us, saying that Xiao Bai is a secret weapon."

Usopp glanced at the little white thing that was lying in Luffy's hand and started complaining about it. Usopp also wanted to "have something to do" instead of being in this dark forest.

However, if he knew what battle Bai Yun was about to experience, he would probably rather come to this forest ten or a hundred times than fight this battle.

Bai Yun's bad luck is also partly due to his dislike of insects. Beetles and rhinoceros beetles are fine, but those wriggling, single caterpillars... well, forget about them.

"If Bai Yun has something to do, let him go."

"Let's be more concerned about where the birds are!"

Luffy replied.

"If we knew where it was, we wouldn't have had to send everyone out."

Zoro is a bit annoyed. Between drinking and catching birds, guess what he'll choose?

"The only clue is his strange cry and his golden sculpture-like appearance."

Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp huddled together to discuss a plan, but don't get your hopes up too high that they'll come up with anything good.

"Are there really such strangely shaped birds?"

Zoro replied.

Usopp picked up where he left off.

"Also, it's hard to define what constitutes a strange cry, since we've never heard one before. How are we supposed to know what's considered strange?"

As soon as Usopp finished speaking, a bird call came from the forest, which was very strange.

"Chirp..."

The strange Luffy and his crew, along with Chopper, couldn't help but exclaim, "Ah! What a weird sound!"

It has to be said that Usopp has a lot of luck.

"That should be it."

Robin said with a smile.

Luffy flashed a bright white smile.

"it is good!"

"Now that things have come to this, we must seize this opportunity!!"

"We have three networks, so let's split up into three groups."

"Let's go! Let's kick that weird bird away!!"

"Catch them! Catch them!!"

And so, Luffy and his crew split into three groups to capture the Southern Bird.

Sanji, Nami, and Usopp form a group.

Zoro and Robin, one group.

Luffy and Chopper, one group.

.........

Meanwhile, Bai Yun flew through the air and quickly arrived in Mogu Town, heading to the same tavern as before.

Push open the wooden door of the tavern.

Wooden door: What a kind person! I don't know how long it's been since anyone pushed me; I almost forgot I was a door.

Bai Yun walked in steadily. When the people drinking inside saw that it was Bai Yun, the scene instantly quieted down, and all eyes were fixed on him.

Bai Yun's expression remained unchanged, showing no concern whatsoever, as he continued walking towards the bar, the only sound in the tavern the clattering of his footsteps on the wooden floor.

Bai Yun sat down at the bar and said, "Boss, a glass of rum, please."

"Also, where are those Bellamy Pirates?"

The boss nodded, responding to Bai Yun's first question, and then began to answer the second.

"No."

Bai Yun simply nodded in response to the very concise answer.

Thinking to myself, "Have those things already set off for Uncle Chestnut's house? It seems their beating is destined. I'll just wait here for Luffy to arrive."

Waiting, and then all that's left is waiting.

Those who were watching Bai Yun naturally wouldn't keep watching, and when they heard Bai Yun refer to Bellamy and the others as "those guys," they couldn't help but marvel at Bai Yun's audacity.

There are always people who have nothing better to do than to "reopen" as soon as possible.

Chapter 209 The Night Has Only Just Begun

Luffy and his crew began searching for the south-flying bird in the forest south of Kurikate's house; their success in setting off depended on it.

Bai Yun then arrived at the tavern in Mogu Town.

Don't accuse me of being lazy; being a newbie is what makes me stand out.

This is Bai Yun's statement.

When they arrived at the tavern, Bellamy and the others were no longer there. It seemed that Kulikate and the ape were in for a beating.

Bai Yun decided to stay in the tavern and wait for Luffy to arrive. It wasn't because he was lazy; there was a reason for it.

But there are always people who interrupt the fun, eager to meet their maker.

.........

The tavern owner pushed the wine towards Bai Yun.

"Thank you."

Bai Yun smiled and replied. Just as he picked up his wine glass, a thug with a mogan hairstyle, a thin build, and a rather tall stature approached from behind.

In summary: Greyhound.

Bai Yun glanced at him, thinking that the stick insect had become a spirit, or that this guy had eaten a stick insect fruit.

"Aren't you one of those three idiotic outsiders who believed in the existence of Sky Island?"

"Where are that woman and that straw hat boy? Are they dead?"

"It's normal for them to die. After all, in Mogu Town, idiots like you can't survive."

"You're all alone now. Why don't you come work for me? You just insulted Bellamy and the others. If they find out, you're dead for sure!"

"Ah! Think it through yourself."

As the man spoke, he reached out to put his hand on Bai Yun's shoulder.

Bai Yun calmly took a sip of wine, just as the man's hand was about to fall.

He put down his wine glass, raised his hand, and the flintlock pistol appeared in his palm, spinning. Bai Yun stopped the flintlock pistol from spinning, gripped the barrel, and held the gun upside down, the butt blocking the man's palm.

Just as the man was stunned, Bai Yun pulled out a gun from somewhere.

Bai Yong forcefully shook off his hand, then swung the gun like a club, the butt striking the man in the abdomen. The impact sent the man flying, crashing through the double wooden doors on the middle floor of the tavern.

The moment the man flew out, the flintlock pistol spun again in Bai Yun's hand. Gripping the stock, Bai Yun didn't turn his body, but bent his hand ninety degrees behind his back and fired without hesitation.

The bullet flew out and, as it bounced off the wooden door, struck the man squarely between the eyebrows.

The man who had been flying through the air died without uttering a sound, crashing into the wall and sliding down helplessly. All of this happened in just a few seconds.

If Beckman were here, he'd probably be smiling and saying, with a cigarette in his mouth, "You've got a bit of my style, kid."

Then Bai Yun rolled his eyes at him.

........

The tavern fell silent again, with only the creaking of the wooden door rattling back and forth as evidence of what had just happened.

The other drinkers gaped in disbelief at what had happened in those few short seconds.

Bai Yun placed the gun on the table and smiled at the shopkeeper.

"Boss, this shouldn't be considered a fight in the store, right?"

The shopkeeper glanced at the flintlock pistol, then at Bai Yun, swallowed hard, and picked up the bottle to fill Bai Yun's glass with wine.

"Not counting."

The boss is quite knowledgeable and knows best, so he doesn't say much if he can avoid it.

Having witnessed Bai Yun's strength—killing one person in the blink of an eye—some people wanted to leave.

However, as soon as he got up, Bai Yun put the cup down with a little force.

"The night has only just begun."
