Bai Yun is an orphan in his own world. He came out of the orphanage as soon as he came of age and started working on his own. To save money, he usually doesn't cut his hair, only once every two years, and then he grows it out for two years after each haircut.

Even though he traveled back in time to his childhood, his hair remained the same; he now wears a ponytail, which is why Ace mistook him for a girl.

"I'm a boy."

Bai Yun returned home.

“Eh!!!”

Realizing what was happening, Ace exclaimed in surprise.

"Your stamina is really terrible!"

Ace retorted, while Bai Yun thought to himself, "So you're really brave! No ordinary kid can compare to you!!"

"But this strength is enough!"

"I acknowledge you."

"If you want to come along, then come along."

Ace turned and continued on his way to his meeting with Sabo.

Bai Yun glanced at Luffy, then followed him.

Luffy immediately followed.

But the wild beasts on the road were fierce and the terrain was complex, and Luffy soon couldn't keep up.

Seeing his good friend being taken away by someone else, Luffy was still a little disappointed.

"Ahhh!"

"Bai Yun, I will definitely follow you and bring you back!"

Hearing Luffy's shout from behind, Bai Yun broke out in a cold sweat. Why did this make him sound like the kind of woman whose boyfriend was broke and ran off with a rich man?

"You go first, Ace."

"Hmm? Wait for that kid? If he can't even cross the forest on his own, why should he come with me to the Uncertain Terminal?"

Ace said dismissively, not taking Luffy, this little weakling, seriously at all.

"Ace, how long did it take you to cross the forest?"

Bai Yun put on a smile; it's always more polite that way.

"One month."

Ace said calmly.

"Alright, shall we make a bet?"

"Let's bet on whether Luffy can cross the forest within a month."

"I lost, I'll give you this bracelet."

"You lost. Just try to accept Luffy."

"So, are you willing to bet?"

Bai Yun held out the bracelet to Ace and made a bet.

What kind of bracelet can't be removed? Ace doesn't know.

Ace glanced at the bracelet.

"What's there to be afraid of!"

"Let's bet!"

"I hope you won't regret losing such a good weapon."

Bai Yun withdrew his hand and smiled, "Don't underestimate Luffy, he's a very resilient person."

"Then let's meet at the Uncertain Terminal Station a month from now!"

Ace was confident, and so was Bai Yun. He turned back to Luffy, ready to cross the forest with him. Of course, he wouldn't break the bet.

"Luffy!"

Just as Luffy was feeling completely disoriented, Bai Yun returned.

Luffy looked up and saw him, and immediately smiled.

"Ah! Bai Yun, I'm lost."

"Me too, Luffy."

"Ace just said that if we can cross the forest within a month, he will try to be friends with us."

"Let's keep going!"

Bai Yun knows Luffy's personality. If you set a goal for him, he will work hard to move towards that goal, except for joining the Navy.

"Really? Then we need to do our best!"

"Let's go! We can't let Ace underestimate us!"

Luffy was instantly filled with energy and walked ahead, with Bai Yun following behind with a smile. "A little kid is just a little kid."

However, their confidence stemmed from safety, but the ensuing obstacles slowly eroded their confidence.

Bai Yun's physique was a perfect replica of Luffy's, otherwise he would have been gone halfway through.

Finally, on the last day of the one-month bet, Luffy and Bai Yun perfectly caught up with Ace and crossed the forest.

They arrived at the dark side of the Goa Kingdom, a pristine country hailed as the most beautiful in the East Blue, a garbage dump called the Uncertain Terminal!

Chapter 15: What about Bai Yun?

Unwanted items are gathered here, whether they are objects or people...

Of course, this is a lawless zone, with no doctors and rampant crime and disease.

This place reeks of a foul stench year-round, and mountains of garbage spontaneously combust under the sun, creating a perpetual haze of smoke. This is the final destination for uncertain objects!

"Ugh! It stinks! There's so much trash! Where am I?"

Upon arrival, the pervasive stench made even Luffy want to complain.

"Ace told me that this place is called the Uncertainty Terminal."

Bai Yun explained, covering his nose tightly. Compared to the stench here, what were stinky tofu and canned herring? It was quite an eye-opener; it was the first time he had ever seen such a huge garbage dump.

Suddenly, Luffy noticed Ace's figure ahead and immediately rushed out, wanting to prove himself to Ace.

Bai Yun immediately followed, "Luffy, wait for me!"

But not long after Bai Yun ran out, his foot suddenly sank into a hole under the garbage.

"Holy crap! What the hell?!"

But Luffy didn't hear that; he was too eager to prove himself to Ace.

On a large tree, Ace and Sabo were counting the money they had accumulated over the years, the funds they would use to buy a pirate ship when they became pirates.

"Pirate ship?"

"You guys want to be pirates too?! Hahaha."

Upon hearing that Ace shared the same wish, Luffy shouted excitedly, but this startled Ace and Sabo, who immediately jumped down from the tree.

"Tsk, it just so happens to be the last day, and you guys caught up. What a pity."

Ace looked at Luffy and Bai Yun, and said with a hint of disappointment.

"This is the Luffy and White Luck you were talking about."

Sabo echoed this.

"Of course, Bai Yun and I are very powerful. Now we can be friends, right? Your name is Sabo? You're Ace's friend, so can we be friends too?"

Luffy grinned, showing off his white teeth.

Sabo didn't answer, but instead pulled Luffy around.

"What do we do, Ace? They've discovered our secret."
