I finally finished writing it. The original plan was to finish it by the end of January, but later I felt that there might be too many chapters, so I have added more updates and changed it to four updates a day.

As a result, it still failed to be completed before the year. Fortunately, it only took two or three days more. It can be regarded as a link between the past and the future. We will seize the tail of 2021 and move into 2022.

In more than a year, there are more than 3.8 million words, and the average number of words updated every month is more than 200,000.

This is the novel that I have been most diligent in updating and also the longest one I have written.

Originally, I planned to write about 3 million words, but as I continued writing, I was running for 4 million. Fortunately... I didn't write it badly. There may be some problems in the later stage, but the basic structure is not messed up.

Every time you surpass yourself and write a longer novel, it is actually a kind of tempering for yourself. The tempering of your writing skills is also the tempering of your spirit.

To be honest, I felt a little exhausted when I wrote the next few hundred thousand words. You should also be able to see that there are more typos, wrong team names, wrong player names, etc...

In fact, every time I finished writing, I would check it before updating, but I was really exhausted mentally and physically. The fatigue became heavier and heavier towards the end, and I knew I had to finish it.

This is my third basketball novel, and it is also the one that I feel is the most mature. It retains my own style and has added some other attempts. Generally speaking, I am satisfied with it.

However, the subject matter of basketball novels is very limited, such as NBA stars, James, Curry, Durant, Kobe...

Each of them is familiar to everyone, and everyone has their own definition of them. Their characters are already fixed. I can't just change them into villains to set off the protagonist for the sake of drama and plot conflict.

Correspondingly, some plots are difficult to develop further and can only be stopped at the beginning, because writing it down may make readers disgusted. Why do you write XXX like this?

I'm actually a little regretful. Within a fixed framework, I can't splash out as much as I want, and I can only maintain restraint even in character creation.
