Chapter 198 Gu Yue, you are not human!
Gu Yue and Su Qiu talked for a long time.

However, just a second before Su Qiu spoke.

"Su Qiu! You brat! You've forgotten about me!"

A mournful dragon roar, like muffled thunder, rolled in from the other end of the spatial portal that had not yet completely dissipated, even mixed with the rumbling and trembling sound of a major earthquake.

Leap's roar pierced through the space, clearly exploding in the ears of the three.

Su Qiu: "."

A hint of helplessness flashed quickly across Gu Yue's calm, unwavering silver eyes.

She tilted her head slightly, seemingly annoyed by the Mountain Dragon King's untimely harassment.

But she quickly suppressed this subtle emotional fluctuation and returned to calm.

"How about we bring him out first?" Su Qiu looked at Gu Yue, seeking her opinion.

Gu Yue didn't speak, but simply raised her hand and gently tapped the spot where the spatial portal had disappeared.

A much smaller silver rift, barely wide enough for one person to pass through, quietly opened. As soon as the rift opened, a dark golden stream of light impatiently shot out with a "whoosh," landing and transforming into a miniature, huffy phantom of a dragon soul.

"You little rascal, you're not being fair." Yue stopped halfway through his curse, looking at Su Qiu, then at Gu Yue and Na'er.

The atmosphere is wrong.

Su Qiu scratched his head: "Don't be angry, you're out now."

Leaping over to Su Qiu's side, it circled him twice more, carefully sensing his surroundings.

"Guang really isn't afraid of death." He muttered to himself, then looked at Gu Yue and Na'er, and said as he ran away, "You two keep talking. I'm going to wander around, I'm so bored."

Gu Yue nodded slightly in response.

Her attention was clearly not on that; her gaze returned to Su Qiu, as if silently urging him on.

Now, we can continue.

Su Qiu steadied herself and, taking advantage of the brief respite brought about by Yue's interruption, cleared her thoughts.

He looked at Gu Yue and shouted, "Gu Yue!"

I knew you weren't human a long time ago!

Gu Yue: "?"

Na'er: "?"

The air suddenly became stagnant.

The calm in Gu Yue's silver eyes shattered for a moment, and the elemental power flowing around her paused for a beat, as if she hadn't expected Su Qiu to blurt out such a sentence after holding back for so long.

Na'er tilted her head and tugged at Su Qiu's sleeve, asking softly, "Brother Su Qiu, what did Gu Yue do to offend you? Why did you call her inhuman?"

“What insult? I meant Gu Yue is a soul beast.” Su Qiu took a step forward, his joking tone gone, and his gaze became serious: “And he’s the legendary Silver Dragon King.”

The moment the words left his mouth, it seemed as if even the wind in the mountains and forests had stopped.

Na'er's smile froze slightly, her purple eyes widened, she looked at Su Qiu, and then nervously looked at Gu Yue.

She subconsciously took half a step closer to Su Qiu.

At this moment, Na'er's mind is racing.

What should we do? How should she react? Gu Yue has been exposed, so what about her?
Should she just sell Gu Yue to elevate her own status?

Before it had drifted far, Yue suddenly trembled, its vertical pupils staring in astonishment at Su Qiu, then quickly glancing at Gu Yue.

Yue instantly understood; it turned out they didn't know each other's identities before.
You couldn't tell at all; Yue thought they knew each other.

I'm outta here. Yue sped away; who knows what might happen next.

Gu Yue stood there quietly, sunlight filtering through the leaves and casting interplay of light and shadow on her exquisite profile.

She didn't react at all, as if Su Qiu had only said, "The weather is nice today."

But the surrounding space, where the elemental particles that were originally flowing merrily, was now frozen, solidified within three feet of her, and the air became thick and heavy.

This silence is far more oppressive than a violent reaction.

Despite the invisible pressure, Su Qiu continued speaking, her tone carrying a sense of sudden realization.

There was even a hint of perfectly timed, slightly annoyed feeling of being kept in the dark: "I've always thought you were special, Gu Yue. Your wisdom, your understanding of soul beasts and dragons, is far beyond what your peers can match. You brought me to Dragon Valley, and you know this place like your own backyard."

As she spoke, Su Qiu glanced at Na'er, who looked somewhat lost beside her.

A hint of guilt flashed in Na'er's purple eyes as she avoided his gaze.

"Your so-called reclusive family must also be composed of soul beasts. I had a guess before, but I wasn't sure, since it was too shocking."

Su Qiu spread his hands: "Until this trip to Dragon Valley, I learned a lot of information from the Dragon King seniors."

"The Dragon God's inheritance must be passed down by a Gold or Silver Dragon King. No other Dragon King is worthy of it. Let alone a human with a dragon-type martial soul."

"Gu Yue, now that things have come to this, are you still going to hide it from me?" Su Qiu's voice lowered, carrying a questioning tone as well as a sense of certainty.

"there is only one truth!"

"You are the Silver Dragon King, representing wisdom and elements, after the Dragon God split apart. And Na'er is the embodiment of the Golden Dragon King's power, right?"

The forest was quiet, with only the rustling of leaves in the wind.

Na'er was shocked. Oh no!

It turns out she was exposed too.

Na'er nervously grabbed Su Qiu's sleeve, her purple eyes pleadingly looking at Gu Yue.

Gu Yue finally moved.

She slowly raised her eyelids and gazed at Su Qiu calmly and earnestly.

In those eyes, there was a bottomless majesty and aloofness belonging to the Silver Dragon King himself.

But Su Qiu found it awkward no matter how she looked at it; Gu Yue had had the same eyes for several nights before.

"When did you start to have doubts?" She neither denied nor admitted it, but asked the question in a cold, emotionless voice.

This is almost equivalent to the default.

Su Qiu's face showed a complex expression, a mixture of relief and helplessness: "A long, long time ago. After all, we've known each other for so many years, so some differences are bound to emerge."

He met Gu Yue's gaze: "Gu Yue, or Silver Dragon King, it doesn't matter."

"Actually, in a sense, we are all in this together now."

Upon hearing Su Qiu's words, Na'er suddenly loosened her grip on his clothes, and the tension in her purple eyes subsided considerably.

Gu Yue lowered her silver eyes slightly, glanced at Na'er who had instantly relaxed beside her, and then looked up at Su Qiu.

"In cahoots?" Her voice was cold, with a hint of barely perceptible inquiry. "Su Qiu, you seem to have accepted this fact very easily."

Gu Yue stared at him, her eyes, capable of seeing through the flow of elements and the essence of the soul, now trying to penetrate Su Qiu's expression and seek something deeper. "Your classmate, your friend, is the ruler of all soul beasts, the Silver Dragon King who is an enemy of the God Realm. You haven't even shown the appropriate vigilance or fear?"

"Do you know that standing on my side means making an enemy of the entire human soul master world?"

Her words were soft, yet like icicles, they went straight to the heart of the matter.
