Hogwarts: A Chinese-Style Professor

Chapter 60 The Secret Chamber Opens

Chapter 60 The Secret Chamber Opens

Christmas dispelled the unease brought by the confinement of the room.

When spring arrives in January, Black Lake takes on a clear blue-green hue under the bright sunlight, while the black trees of the Forbidden Forest are still draped in silver, each branch laden with fluffy snowflakes. When an owl flies by, it stirs up a flurry of fine snow.

The students of Hogwarts returned to school in this cheerful atmosphere, and the tranquil Hogwarts became vibrant again.

Life after returning to school was pretty much as the students had imagined.

Professor Li Wei's assignments are still just as numerous, but his courses are just as interesting.

The dueling club he and Professor Snape founded began its exciting selection process, which brought new fun to the students.

Just when everyone thought that the main activities of this semester would be attending classes and playing Slytherin after class, the Chamber of Secrets incident, which had been brewing and fermenting over Christmas, finally erupted.

During the holiday, parents heard about what happened to their children at school.

They could hardly believe that a monster that attacked students existed at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! And their child had been studying in such a dangerous environment for three months!
Fueled by parental discontent and the machinations of certain individuals, Hogwarts students, shortly after returning to school, were alarmed to find that the school was undergoing a dramatic transformation.

First, Hagrid, the gamekeeper, had just returned from his vacation when Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge personally came to arrest him and take him away. Even with Principal Dumbledore by his side, he couldn't save him.

The students watched Hagrid, looking dejected, being led away from Hogwarts, and didn't understand what had happened.

Some say he was the murderer of the locked room mystery, and that he was caught by the Ministry of Magic after lying low for a long time.

Some people say that Hagrid made some mistake in the past, and it's only now that it's been discovered.

Most people weren't as close to Hagrid as Harry; they didn't care what happened to Hagrid, and were actually relieved that the Chamber of Secrets was finally over.
But what happened next stunned everyone.

On just the fifth day of school, Nick, who was nearly headless, was petrified—this was the third victim of the locked room mystery after Mrs. Lorris and Professor Bubbage. Even Hagrid's capture did not stop it from happening!

Not long after, in the first week of the new term, Hogwarts Headmaster Dumbledore was pressured by twelve members of the Board of Governors, led by Lucius Malfoy, and was forced to leave the school!

Because the locked-room murders have occurred three times in a row, and even professors have perished in the attacks, yet Dumbledore has remained silent, the Board of Governors has decided to send a more capable successor to stop the murders!
But that's Dumbledore!

If even he couldn't stop the locked-room murder, who could?

The young wizards were completely thrown into turmoil.

But before they could think it through, on the afternoon after Principal Dumbledore was taken away, Vice Principal Professor McGonagall immediately made another difficult decision.

She has decided to temporarily close Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
Before Harry and his friends even had a chance to discuss it, they received this devastating news!
"Harry!"

Hermione waved to Harry from a distance, her voice drowned out by the noise.

Hogwarts is about to close urgently. The express train to take the students home is on its way. The prefects are fulfilling their duties, shouting for students to assemble and searching for any stray students.

Hermione!

Harry shouted through the rioting crowd.

"Hogwarts is doomed!"

Peeves screech and roll on top of the armor, kicking a knight's helmet to the ground. The cold metal struck the hard ground with a chilling sound.

A Ravenclaw girl was startled by it, and the suitcase she was dragging suddenly tipped over with a crash, and the ink bottle rolled out of it, rolling three times before landing on the ground.

The air was filled with the hooting of owls. A student roughly locked his owl in its cage, and suppressed sobs could be heard from some corner.

Harry and Hermione reunited, their expressions more serious than ever before—even he himself was surprised that he had remained absolutely calm at this moment!
His chest was burning like fire, but his mind was exceptionally clear.

"Harry, what should we do? I can't find Cedric!"

The girl's face had lost its usual composure. Her peaceful life had suddenly undergone a dramatic change in just a few days, leaving her feeling unfamiliar and confused.

The sun on the horizon was as red as blood, gradually sinking below the horizon.

Gryffindor had never felt so crowded yet so quiet. Harry's emotions had never been so complex—a mixture of dejection and anger at being deceived, yet a surge of determination coursing through him!

"Li Wei! Professor Li Wei must know everything! Let's go find him!"

Harry's mind flashed back to those eyes that always calmly observed everything.

"Harry, Professor Levy has disappeared!"

"What did you say?"

Harry looked at Hermione in disbelief.

"I went to Professor McGonagall's office the moment he announced the closure of the university—he was gone! Everything in his office had vanished, as if he had evaporated into thin air!"

"how can that be"

Harry's eyes widened, and he suddenly ran back to his dormitory like a madman!
"Harry, where are you going—Harry!"

Hermione shouted loudly behind him, but Harry remained unmoved.

He ran back to his dorm, took out the invisibility cloak, and put it on without stopping. Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something Cedric had said before.

"Place the flying broom in a fixed location so that we can summon it with the Summoning Charm when we need it."

He has done so ever since.

"Nimbus 2000, come flying!"

Harry chanted a spell and flew out of the common room on his magical broomstick—his figure moved at high speed through the castle, and every student in his line of sight looked so flustered and dazed—"Harry Potter!"

Harry suddenly heard someone calling him.

He instinctively turned his head and saw the ghostly lady Grey waving at him.

"He's in the girls' restroom right now, sneak over there! You have to stop him!"

Harry knew without asking who it was—he was absolutely certain that the person Mrs. Grey was referring to was Levi!
"Me? Am I enough on my own?"

"No, others will only alert him. Only you can do this—don't you have an invisibility cloak? Ambush him from behind, and a sleeping spell will do the trick!"

"Hurry! Headmaster Dumbledore isn't at school right now. If he releases the Basilisk, everyone at Hogwarts will die!"

Mrs. Grey's words deeply affected Harry.

He had no time to think further and quickly flew to the vicinity of the washroom on the second floor of the castle, where he donned an invisibility cloak.

At that very moment, he heard an extremely evil voice.

"(Open)"

At this time, only one person would speak the Snake Language in this place.
Harry, wearing an invisibility cloak, carefully entered the bathroom and saw Professor Levy standing directly in front of the bathroom tap.

As he spoke, the faucet emitted a dazzling white light and began to spin rapidly.

Then, the pool started moving.

Harry watched as the pool slowly disappeared from sight, revealing a very thick water pipe, large enough for a person to crawl into.

Li Wei then walked in with ease.

Harry felt a chill run through him, and he became acutely aware of something.

The secret room has been opened.
