Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 284 Membership Application

Chapter 284 Membership Application
"You are the Restoration Society of Eldaria, right? Is there still a chance to join you?" Caesar asked with a smile.

"Join us, join us?"

"Yes, I'd like to know if you can still apply for membership now. If so, I'd like to give it a try."

The five people there were stunned by what he said, and then the two ladies behind him burst out laughing.

The person in charge paused for a moment, then laughed and said:

"We appreciate your enthusiasm, but you are too young and do not meet our age requirement."

“However, I am truly interested in Eldaria. I’ve seen a lot of news about the Restoration Society, and when I hear you talk about reviving Eldaria’s glory, I wholeheartedly agree,” Caesar said.
"So, could you grant my wish and let me join? I'll try my best to participate in the activities and help you guys out."

The person in charge exchanged glances with his companions behind him, then asked, "Where are your parents?"

“They’re not here; I came with my classmates today,” Caesar said.

"However, I have talked to my family about this, and they will support me in joining."

The person in charge nodded slowly. He could tell that Caesar was no ordinary person; at the very least, he was a young scion of a family. If they could get to know the family behind him through him, it wouldn't be a bad thing for the Restoration Society at present.

Then the person in charge laughed heartily and said to Caesar:
"Alright, little brother, I'll make the decision this time and give you a chance. Fill out the application form, and we'll notify you after we approve it."

“Thank you so much. May I ask your name?” Caesar asked.

“Boose Brutus,” the person in charge on the other end said.

Caesar immediately remembered the name.

Isn't this the person who currently manages the Restoration Society that he overheard from the Restoration Society members during a break at the ball that day?
I never expected that the other party would appear in front of me now.

But this also shows that there are really not many people left in the Restoration Society, and even the managers have to come out and campaign for votes themselves.

Booth looked younger than expected, not yet forty, with curly hair, and didn't resemble the stereotypical senator; rather, he looked like an artist.

Caesar quickly filled out the application form they had brought him on the street, and Booth picked it up and looked at it.
"Caesar Thranduil. His elders are elves?" He was somewhat surprised, but when he saw that the section for his father was blank, and that his only relative was an employee of a botanical garden who lived in an apartment building on an ordinary street, he clearly showed a disappointed expression.

"I originally planned to make contact with his family, but it turns out there is none at all. He's just a child adopted by elves, and his elders are working class."

Booth felt that his expression just now was a bit of a waste.

Seeing that Caesar had filled in the information that he was a student of Saint Illustrious made him somewhat satisfied.

"Well, Mr. Booth, am I qualified to join the Restoration Society?" Caesar asked.

Booth's attitude had changed noticeably. He said calmly, "We'll discuss it and make a decision. If it's approved, we'll send you a reply."

“Is that so? Then I’ll trouble you,” Caesar said politely.

He gave a slight expression of respect, then turned and left.

But as soon as he left, someone came up to Booth and said, "Hey, Booth, I want to feel that the kid from earlier, like the boy who danced the opening dance with the princess at the ball and was approached by Enrid."

“Impossible,” Booth said. “The woman at the ball is rumored to be someone with a very complicated background. She herself said she only works at a botanical garden.”

“But what if he’s the kind of person who needs to hide his identity?” the person behind him said.

Booth fell silent. He had indeed met people of extremely high status who even needed to hide their identities from the outside world, but how could they possibly run into such people directly?

But what if it really is true?
“I remember, that man at the ball seemed to have an elven elder, and like him, he had black hair,” someone else said.

Elves are already few in number, and this alone is enough to confirm their identity.

"If that's true, why would such a young master want to join us?" Booth was quite self-aware of the internal workings of the Restoration Society. Why would someone of such high status want to join them?

After thinking for a while, he shook his head.

"Never mind, whether it's true or not, it's not a big deal if a kid joins in."

Caesar, walking back, was unaware of the many speculations they had about him. He had only intended to test the waters, but unexpectedly, they actually made him fill out the application.

"If I can really pass this time, it will save me a lot of trouble," he thought to himself.

He had barely stepped back and was standing still when he suddenly heard shouts again, this time directly calling his name. "Caesar! Over here, over here!"

He looked over and saw Leon, along with several students from Saint-Yallo, waving at him. Among them was Tess. They were sitting around a round table outside the café, as if they were having a party.

"What are you doing here?" Caesar walked up to them.

"It's just a get-together, isn't that what holidays are for—going out and having fun together?" Leon said with a grin.
“That’s right, we even invited you, but you didn’t reply at all, and instead came out to have fun by yourself,” Tess said to him.

“You invited me? I haven’t been back for the last two days, so I haven’t seen it,” Caesar said.

They've been staying at Ita's house for the past two days, so if they were to send a letter, they would definitely send it to the apartment building.

"Hey Caesar, I heard you got first place in your grade in the final exams? Even the princess has to be your foil?" Leon said to him with a grin.

“Yeah, I got it by accident.” Caesar shrugged.

"You really are quite low-key."

"I did terribly on all my tests this time. I only got passing grades in Classical Philosophy and Geography, and my ranking dropped a lot. My dad was furious and canceled my holiday trip in a fit of anger," Tess said sullenly.

"So now the young lady can only keep us company while we drink coffee by the roadside," Leon said with a chuckle.

"And you, Leon? It seems you did quite well this time?" Caesar asked.

“Me?” Leon tilted his head back smugly and held up one finger:
"All passed!"

That's wonderful!

“Since we’ve run into each other, would you like to come with us, Caesar? We were planning to visit the zoo later,” Tess asked him.

"I have something to do later,"

"What's the matter?"

"I"

He was speaking when a voice suddenly came from the side. He turned his head and was so frightened that he immediately shut his mouth.

Not only him, but several classmates nearby, following his gaze, were also too frightened to utter a word.

"No, no, why is she here too?"

Caesar turned his head and saw the source of everyone's horror: Ita was jogging towards him.

But halfway through the run, Ita noticed the group of classmates around her. Her smiling face immediately fell, and she calmly walked past them, as if the person she was looking for was still ahead.

As they passed by, Ita glanced at them.

"Oh, it's you guys. The holidays have started, so are you going out to have some fun together?"

"Ah, yes, yes, teacher," they said timidly.

"Well, have fun then." Ita turned and left without saying a word.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was terrifying! By the way, was she calling out to someone just now?" someone asked.

"Who knows if that great evil dragon's friend is actually an even bigger and fiercer dragon?" Leon muttered.

“Ha, yeah,” Caesar said, his lips twitching.

"By the way, Caesar, you said you had something to say?" Leon asked again.

"I have to go home in a bit; some relatives are coming over," Caesar replied casually.

"Alright then, we'll make an appointment when you have time," Leon had no choice but to say.
