Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 267 Island Territory

Chapter 267 Island Territory
Late at night, the hands on the clock face had already pointed to the number four.

Caesar looked out the car window at the deep blue night, where dawn was just beginning to break on the distant horizon.

Ita, wrapped in his coat, nestled in his arms and trembled slightly.

"Are you alright?" Caesar asked softly.

"It's alright, I just used up a lot of magic power and am a little tired now," Ita said softly.

The storm formed by the fifth-tier Wind Source Sea will continuously drain the magic power of the victim. Caesar on the dragon's back is alright, but Ita, who is directly in the storm, is not so lucky. After turning back into human form, she has been very weak and is curled up in his arms. Caesar has used snow to restore her strength, but she still needs to recover her magic power on her own.

They were now in a car, following the military truck ahead, heading towards what they called the territory of the Hellanells family.

Caesar had no idea how such an organization with a large number of sorcerers could remain hidden within the kingdom. They also seemed to have a strained relationship with Finn. The elf named Williamson only told him to come along.

If you want to know the truth, you have to follow him.

To be honest, Caesar is still wary of them. It's too difficult for him to trust these guys he's only met a few hours ago and who seem so mysterious. The only thing that made him make that decision was what the fortune teller Marlene showed him that day.

If that was a deliberate scheme by them, then who would be the mastermind behind it all?
His mind was a bit muddled, and he even felt a little nervous and uneasy.

If it really is as I think...
The military truck in front suddenly stopped, and Doruvan, who was driving, stepped on the gas.

He saw Williamson get out of the car and walk towards him.

He knocked on the car window and said to Caesar, "We're about to pass through the portal. Get ready and don't lose us. This is no joke. If you get lost inside, you'll never get out."

"I know. Is there anything else you need to tell me?" Caesar asked.

“No, that’s all. Oh, have a pleasant journey.” Williamson smiled at him and then got back into the car.

A portal.
This is a new, conceptual thing. Caesar had seen a description of it in Clorin's report on his magical experiments. Simply put, it's a large teleportation device that can connect the gates located on opposite sides of the world, greatly shortening the journey.

Have they already produced these conceptual works?
The military truck ahead started moving, and their cars followed closely behind.

Then Caesar saw the large truck suddenly drive onto a side road, and Doruvan followed.

The trees on both sides kept scraping against the car, and the rough road made the ride extremely bumpy.
After driving for about ten minutes, a lake suddenly appeared directly in front of us.
But the truck didn't stop; instead, it accelerated and rushed towards the lake. With a splash, water sprayed everywhere, and the vehicle disappeared into the lake in the blink of an eye.

"This"

Doruvan stopped the car, not daring to go any further, and turned to look at Caesar questioningly.

“Keep up,” Caesar said.

He could tell something was wrong; the water surface wasn't normal, it had been tampered with.

Doruvin had no choice but to start the vehicle and follow the military truck, but the front of the truck plunged into the water.

The expected floating sensation and water ingress did not occur. The vehicle was still moving normally underwater and entered a straight underwater tunnel after entering the water.

But the darkness in the water made it impossible to see the surroundings clearly. Caesar could only notice a dark red circle of light flashing by every now and then, as if they had entered some kind of viewing tunnel.

A few minutes later, the surrounding environment changed. The dark red halo was stretched out, leaving a long trail that extended infinitely behind the vehicle.

The surrounding space also began to fluctuate, and Caesar began to find that his senses were no longer working, as if a shielding device had been installed.

Apart from that, there were no other changes.

The whole process lasted for more than ten minutes. The elongated red light returned to its original state and became intermittently passing halos.

With a splash, the vehicle finally broke through the water, and the blinding sunlight illuminated the interior.

Once his eyes adjusted to the light, Caesar was able to see where they were.

This is a vast ocean, with only one road leading to the central island, where a magnificent, castle-like complex stands atop the island's summit.

Caesar turned around and saw behind them a tunnel entrance extending from the seabed, the very tunnel they had just emerged from.

The sun was shining brightly overhead, and their journey had crossed at least several time zones, resulting in a significant change in climate compared to Fein.

Caesar speculated on the location of this place in the Southern Ocean.

Led by military trucks, they headed towards the isolated island. After navigating winding mountain roads, they finally stopped in front of the gates of the hilltop castle.

Upon reaching the main gate, one can truly appreciate the sheer size of this territory; visually, it even surpasses the scale of Finn's palace.

Two guards in military uniforms, armed with guns, opened the iron gate for them, then stood at attention, saluted, and watched the vehicle pass by.

In the front garden, he saw rows of anti-aircraft guns standing tall, their muzzles pointing upwards, like guards protecting the country.

There were many people coming and going here. In addition to soldiers in military uniforms, he also saw a group of researchers in white lab coats, who were having a heated discussion around a bunch of mechanical creations.

After passing through a spacious courtyard the size of a football field, Williamson did not lead him to the main castle building, but instead brought him to the foot of a tall tower on the edge.

Williamson got out of the car, and Marlene and Wendy got out as well.

Caesar and Ithaca also got out of the carriage.

A bespectacled, seemingly refined man ran down the steps.

“Williamson, the head of the family is already waiting,” he said.

“Okay, we’ll be right there,” Williamson replied.

Then the bespectacled man looked toward Caesar.

"This is him."

“Yes, that’s him.” Williamson nodded.

"Oh my god... this is my first time." The bespectacled man seemed to realize he had misspoke and quickly shut his mouth.

Caesar seemed to notice that the other person looked at him with a certain excitement and awe?

Williamson turned to Caesar and said, “The head of the family is already waiting for you inside, but you can only go to see her alone; none of us can follow.”

“No, I want to stay with Caesar,” Itha said immediately.

“Ita, be good, you wait for me here,” Caesar said.

Ita noticed Caesar's gaze, and finally nodded.
Just as Caesar was about to leave, Itha grabbed his sleeve.

"Caesar."

She called out softly.
Caesar turned back.

Ita looked at him, a forced smile appearing on her lips.

"I will stay with you, no matter what happens."

Caesar smiled gently and touched her cheek.
"Wait for me here."

Ita nodded obediently and took a step back.

Caesar glanced at Williamson and his group, then walked alone through the tower doors.

From the outside, it looks like a retro tower, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and bright, with a winding staircase leading up to the top of the tower.

Directly below was a courtyard room, with a round table in the center, and a woman sitting at the table.

The woman seemed to know he was coming; she slowly rose and turned to face Caesar.

She had long, sky-blue hair that reached her calves, wore an elegant floor-length gown, and had eyes like the azure sky. She was graceful in demeanor and had exquisite features.

Caesar stopped and silently watched her.

"Good afternoon. I am Matilda Hylanels, the acting administrator of this island, the current head of the Hylanels family, and the president of the Aldaria Alliance."

The woman spoke in a soft voice, then lifted the hems of her skirts and gave Caesar a slight bow.

"Welcome, Your Majesty Rean Tempest."
