Chapter 254 Screw your rules
Chapter 254 Screw your rules
An overwhelming pressure crushed the entire tavern, and Tai Feng's blood left a long trail on the floor. All eyes were once again drawn to the outsider.
Pida stared at Caesar, who suddenly burst into action, and froze in place.
There was silence.
"Rotten fish!! He dared to lay a hand on someone in the bedroom! Kill him!"
Someone shouted, and the shocked silence turned into an explosive rage. Everyone in the tavern roared, grabbed weapons and chairs, and charged at Caesar.
Caesar snorted coldly and made his move. The light blade flashed across the tavern, and in an instant, the glass shattered, and a surge of blood light shot into the sky. The people at the forefront were directly cut into pieces and scattered all over the ground.
"Screw your rules, you're really giving me face!"
Caesar finally understood why he had to follow the bullshit rules set by these lunatics.
In this lawless land, whoever speaks the loudest is the one who rules!
Isn't it said that there are no law enforcement officers and no regulations here?
Let them experience the crushing power of unrestrained absolute strength.
kill!
With a wave of his hand, four tall, heavily armored knights instantly materialized behind Caesar, like cold executioners, wielding their swords of judgment upon these madmen.
In an instant, the tavern was filled with screams and splattered with blood, turning into a one-sided slaughterhouse.
pat, pat.
Surrounded by fragments of limbs, Caesar trudged through the blood-soaked ground toward the bar.
The sheep-man bartender, Tora, was huddled behind the bar, completely terrified. He heard footsteps approaching, looked up, and saw the polite young man, now covered in blood, walking naturally to him and slowly squatting down.
"Please go and tell Mr. Martini to meet with me as soon as possible, is that alright?"
His tone was gentle, exactly the same as before, but to Tora it sounded like a whisper from hell.
He had been working at the Bull Horn Tavern for over ten years and had seen gang fights and bloodshed, but this one-sided massacre was beyond his comprehension. In just a few minutes, more than a hundred people were crushed to pieces. Only a few lucky ones managed to escape as soon as they realized something was wrong.
The culprit was squatting in front of him, his handsome, youthful face splattered with blood, yet still displaying an indifferent expression.
"I... I'll take you to see him right now," Tora stammered, then quickly got up and knelt before Caesar.
"That's troublesome." Caesar stood up, as if nothing had happened.
He turned to Pida, who stood frozen in the pool of blood, and said, "Wait for me here. We'll leave together once this is done."
"Okay," Pida nodded mechanically.
Tora bowed slightly, gesturing for him to enter, and cautiously led him into the inner room.
They walked past the shattered portrait of Hypnor on the ground and entered the tavern's courtyard, where the stench of blood in the air subsided.
Tora opened a door that led to an underground passage, at the end of which was another iron door with a microphone device on it.
Tora pressed the microphone, glanced at Caesar, and then said shakily into the microphone, "Lockhead, someone wants to see you. There's no wind blowing, you should still go see them."
Only one loud shout came from the microphone:
"roll!"
"Step aside."
Caesar pushed Tora aside, then raised his hand and slashed the heavy iron gate in half, the cut surface melting into molten iron.
With a loud crash, the broken iron gate was kicked open, revealing a luxuriously decorated living room inside.
Caesar walked straight in and, relying on his senses, headed directly towards the bedroom.
With a bang, the bedroom door was kicked open, and on the four-poster bed, a human man with a full beard, who had just put on his pants, looked on in astonishment, while two hairy beast women lay on the bed.
"Ha, is this the important matter you spoke of?" Caesar sneered.
"What the hell do you want to do?!" Martini roared, grabbing the pistol from the bedside table and firing at Caesar.
But the gun exploded before it could fire a bullet.
Martini spat, realizing that the person opposite him was also a sorcerer. He immediately took a deep breath and exhaled a cloud of dark green mist, which instantly enveloped the entire room.
“Poison? No, it also has some effects on the domain,” Caesar immediately noticed.
But to pull these tricks in front of yourself is really laughable.
Caesar snapped his fingers, and the oppressive force of divine wrath descended suddenly. The mist in the room instantly dissipated, and Martini felt his heart stop. He let out a painful scream and collapsed to the ground.
Martini was a sorcerer, but only an ordinary one, no different from an ordinary person in front of Caesar.
Faced with Caesar's overwhelming pressure that transcended his personal status, he instantly lost all will to resist.
Only then did he realize that he seemed to be in big trouble today.
Caesar came up to him and looked down at him.
Where is Wendy Carroll?
“What? Wendy, I don’t know.” Martini said with difficulty, his hands on the ground.
"It's alright, I'll help you remember." Caesar reached out and placed his hand on his shoulder.
A piercing pain erupted from within his body, causing him to instantly go limp, collapse to the ground, writhe in agony, and let out a bloodcurdling scream.
The Bone-Melting Curse has a simple effect: it inflicts unimaginable pain. In the past, it was a spell used for torture.
The Bone-Melting Curse lasted for ten seconds before Caesar withdrew it and continued to ask:
Where is Wendy Carroll?
“She hasn’t been here for a long time, I really didn’t know,” Martini said weakly after a long pause.
“It seems you’re still a bit forgetful.” Caesar patted his shoulder again, and another agonizing wail echoed.
"Did this help you remember anything?" Caesar asked softly.
“She came to see me a few days ago. I don’t know her exact location, but we’re in contact. I can help you arrange to meet her.”
Martini now dared not hold back any longer and told everything he knew.
Caesar looked at him and said coldly, "If you dare to play any tricks next, I will make you beg me to kill you."
As he spoke, he grabbed Martini and dragged him out.
They arrived at the tavern and spoke to Pida, who was still standing there.
"Get the car ready, we should go."
Pida slowly looked at him, swallowed hard,
"Well, it seems like it's not so easy now."
He pointed out the window.
Caesar dragged the martini along, kicked open the tavern door, and found that thousands of people had already gathered outside.
Members of various gangs gathered together, all armed and with ferocious expressions, completely surrounding the Bull Horn Tavern.
Faced with an encirclement of thousands, Caesar coldly said:
"If you don't want to die, get out now."
Four heavily armored knights materialized behind him. Although there were only four, their combined aura completely overwhelmed the thousands of people on the other side.
At that moment, the crowd parted slightly, and an elderly man with a white beard, leaning on a cane, emerged, supported by a burly man.
Caesar had seen that man before; just now, in that portrait.
He is Hypnor, the creator of District 8, and the godfather of everyone here.
