The Star Train's Journey Through the Heavens

Chapter 85 Blade: Dan Heng? No, that's not right.

Chapter 85 Blade: Dan Heng? No, that's not right...

“Evidence…” Jepard’s voice suddenly became hoarse.

“I’ll be the evidence, I wonder if you agree, brother?” Hiluva and Yinyue walked over from a distance.

“Cocolia’s personality has changed drastically. She canceled my research on the star core, abandoned the lower city, frequently failed in her command, and talked to herself when no one was around… Aren’t all these abnormalities enough to prove it?” Hilva threw a stack of documents into Jepard’s arms. These were the data and evidence she had collected overnight to verify the pioneer team’s words.

Jepard skimmed through the documents Hiluva had thrown at him, his expression growing increasingly grim.

“Brother, do you remember the question I asked you before? If one day the High Warden abandoned the people of Beloborg just to achieve some goal of hers, what would you do?” Hilva pressed down on Jepard’s shoulders.

It turns out that Hilva had suspected Cocolia a long time ago, but due to a lack of information, there were many things she couldn't understand. The information brought by the pioneer team made everything connect for her instantly, which is the real reason why Hilva trusted the pioneer team so easily.

“If one day protecting the people means disobeying the orders of the Great Protector, and if either choice would put me in danger, I would still choose the former,” Jepard recalled.

"So, now it's time for you to make a choice."

Jepard turned to face the camp, his powerful voice echoing throughout: "Silvermane Iron Guards, assemble!"

Leave some men to defend the city, while the rest, carrying supplies, rush out of Beloborg.

……

Fort Clipper.

"Cocolia, you idiot!"

The familiar voice rang in Cocolia's mind once again.

Cocolia looked stunned and said with a grim expression, "Look at those two people fighting in the sky. Their power is far beyond what I can contend with. How can I kill them?"

"Ha, that's not what I meant. Your daughter has already led most of the Silvermane Iron Guards out of the city, and you idiot still don't know anything!"

There are no Rifts in the military camp, so the Star Core cannot know what is happening in the camp at any time. However, when the main force leaves the city, there are Rifts and Rift creatures everywhere outside the city, so the Star Core naturally finds out.

"What? How is this possible?" Cocolia exclaimed in shock. How could such a large-scale military operation have occurred without her consent?

“Useless. I don’t see any ability in you to create a new world. Your daughter and Belloberg are destined to be buried in the old world.”

"No! Please give me another chance! I will persuade Bronya," Cocolia pleaded urgently.

"This is the last time, I hope you won't let me down."

Cocolia hurriedly left Kripper Castle and chose a rift to enter.

Outside Belloberg.

Although the Rift was created by the Star Core, the Star Core does not seem to have the means to control the Rift and its creatures. Otherwise, the Star Core would have already controlled the creatures to destroy the devices binding it and annihilate Beloberg.

However, it seems to have a way to slightly influence the gathering of rift creatures in a certain place.

Realizing that the pioneering team had come to seal it away, the Star Core did not hesitate to exert its influence, causing as many Rift creatures as possible to gather towards the pioneering team.

Once the creatures from the rift are lured over, they will naturally launch an attack upon sensing the presence of a large number of living beings.

Gradually, the main force was surrounded by countless rift creatures, including elite monsters such as the Shadow of the Guardian, the Shadow of the Devourer, the Ice of the Outer Universe, the Flame of the Outer Universe, and the Wanderer.

“There are more and more creatures from the Rift.” March 7th said with a rare serious expression.

"This means Star is in a panic. It's afraid of us. Charge!" Star charged ahead, hitting one of the Eternal Winter Disaster Shadows with a baseball bat.

"This is a crucial battle that will determine our future. After this battle, we will see the light of hope. My fellow countrymen, to protect and defend, we must crush them!" Bronya's spear condensed a surge of harmonious power, which spread to everyone as she pointed forward.

With the blessing of Bronya's Harmony, the Silvermane Iron Guards fearlessly clashed heavily with the Rift creatures.

With her scythe in hand, Seele weaved through the rift's creatures, beheading the elite monsters among them one by one to relieve the pressure on the Silvermane Iron Guards.

Most of the Rift creatures came from the direction of Beloborg, while there were relatively few Rift creatures coming from the Star Core direction. After all, only Beloborg remained as a living being on this planet, and since Rift creatures were created by the Rift absorbing human memories, most of them gathered near Beloborg.

The Rift Creatures that had surrounded the Star Core were quickly wiped out by Star and March 7, leaving only an endless expanse of Rift Creatures behind them.

"Silvermane Iron Guards, listen to my command! Stop these Rift creatures. We'll leave this to the Silvermane Iron Guards and deal with the Star Core first," Bronya said decisively.

She brought her army here for this very moment.

She didn't know if the Star Core could control the Rift Creatures. If it could, with the help of a large army to stop these Rift Creatures coming to their aid, they could concentrate on dealing with the Star Core.

As for the city, she wasn't too worried.

It's impossible for the Star Core itself to be on the verge of collapse, yet still guide the Rift Creatures to attack the city, right?

If Star Core were blindly confident, that might indeed be possible, but looking at the two figures fighting fiercely in the air, Star Core felt it couldn't be confident at all. Rift creatures, come to the rescue!

If they can't be controlled, that would be even better. Even if some scattered Rift creatures attack the city, the Silvermane Iron Guards who remain can hold them off for a while, enough time for them to deal with the Star Core and lead their troops back to reinforce.

"Are you sure? There are so many beings from different realms." March 7 asked with some concern.

“Don’t underestimate the Silvermane Iron Guards,” Hiluva said.

“Leave it to me. I will not let them get past me even a step before I die. You can focus on dealing with the Star Core,” Jepard said.

“Hey, you’re making me more worried. Bronya, I think I should stay and help my little brother out. He hasn’t rested for two days and two nights.” Hilva looked at Bronya.

“Alright, you staying here will help reduce some casualties.” Bronya nodded. “Before I leave, I'll ease the pressure on you all. Azure Dragon Cleanses the World!”

Yin Yue's strength was limited by Meng Huaifeng's strength, and the special techniques she used were not as powerful as Dan Heng's, but they were more than enough to deal with most of the creatures from the Rift Realm.

Near the star core, Blade suddenly looked up in the direction of Belloborg.

"I sensed it! You used the power of the Dragon Lord! Hahahaha! Didn't you say you weren't him? Why did you use his power? You are him! Hahahaha!" Blade laughed maniacally.

Before leaving on March 7th, he unleashed a powerful attack, freezing a large number of Rift creatures. Xing looked at his baseball bat and thought, "So what if I have long arms? I'm a warrior, and I'm proud of it!"
Xing charged headlong toward the star core, determined to be the first to deliver a blow to it.

The Silvermane Iron Guards turned around and formed a long, straight line, blocking all the Rift creatures in front of them to cover Xing and the others' rear.

In the very center of the army, Jepard swung his heavy violin case and slammed it down on the ground.

"After going through the ice and snow, I have forged this ambition, which will never end!"

An ice wall imbued with protective power rose up in front of the Silver Mane Iron Guard formation!
Hiluva leaps onto the ice wall, where electric lights dance wildly to the passionate guitar music.

"Haha, let's get this party started!"

One by one, the rift creatures turned to ashes before the raging lightning!

……

"Uncle Yang's battle with the Star Core Hunter has altered the terrain, but the approximate location is around here," Yin Yue confirmed, looking around.

“Look over there, isn’t that it?” March 7th pointed to a platform.

Sam's heavenly fire melted much of the nearby snow, revealing the platform. In one corner of the platform stood a tall restraint device, with a small ball that occasionally emitted golden arcs of electricity floating in its center.

It's the star core!

This restraint device was pitifully rudimentary; it could only suppress the energy of the star core and restrict its movement, but it was completely unable to restrain the characteristics of the star core and continue to exert influence on the planet.

"Hahaha, you've come, you've finally come! It's time to pay the price!" A maniacal laugh rang out from the right, and Ren's figure appeared on a cliff face on the right.

Everyone turned to look, and Ren finally saw Yin Yue's appearance clearly, and he was immediately stunned.

"You're not him? No, that's not right, you are him! Your auras are exactly the same!" Blade shook his head vigorously, suspecting that he was hallucinating from being trapped in the demonic body.

Kafka, behind the blade, helplessly rubbed her forehead. "Sigh, how many times have I told you that he's not the one you're waiting for, but you just won't believe me."

“Star Core Hunter, Blade!” March 7 exclaimed.

"I'll deal with him, you guys take care of the Star Core," Yin Yue said calmly, knowing perfectly well who the Blade was after.

"Can it be done?"

"At worst, I'll just delete the account."

After finishing her sentence, Yin Yue walked towards the blade.

On the train, although Danheng had rid himself of his inner demons and no longer had any psychological trauma towards Ren, he still couldn't help but frown when he saw Ren. He was worried that this madman would hurt his companion.

Dan Heng stepped out of the train and floated in the vacuum, a small water dragon constantly swirling in his palm.

"You are him! It is him! I won't mistake you! Do you think you can escape looking like this?" The blade's eyes flashed red, and he said with a ferocious expression.

“You always say I am him, but my understanding of you is all what others have told me. I have neither his nor your memories, nor his identity as the Dragon Lord. We have different names and different genders. Just because I was born from the Wisdom Egg after he shed his scales and was reborn, does that mean I have to bear his sins? Why? If this doesn’t count as two people, then what does?” Yin Yue was not afraid of the blade that could go berserk at any moment. Instead, she approached the blade step by step.

"Do you think that changing your hair color, adopting a different identity, or changing your name will erase all your past sins? You... you've even preserved your memories perfectly!" Yin Yue glared at Ren.

"No, this shouldn't be like this." Ren looked at Yin Yue's gentle face, which was completely different from Dan Feng's angular face, and couldn't help but cover his head and shake it wildly.

Also, this seems to be what I wanted to say, so why did it come out of her mouth? Ren couldn't understand it, he really couldn't understand it.

He could rightfully say that Dan Heng is Dan Feng, but now that their genders are different, can he still say that she is Dan Feng?
Ren couldn't understand it for a moment; his mind was in complete chaos, and the boundless pain made his demonic body restless.

"So what if you die many times? No matter how many times you die, your memories will be complete, and you will still be the same person! Only when even your memories disappear is it true death! You have never truly died! You are just deceiving yourself!"

"What right do you have to say I haven't experienced death? He endured the torture of being reborn after his scales were removed, and he has no memories of you. If that doesn't count as death, then what does?" Yin Yue persisted, taking a sudden step forward.

Ren took a step back amidst Yin Yue's roar, because he knew that Yin Yue was right. He had never truly died, but he had always been searching for true death, yet he had never succeeded.

"Ah~ Kill me, quick, kill me!" Blade roared madly, shoving the broken sword into Yinyue's hand. His mind was too chaotic; all he wanted now was to die and find a moment of peace.

Yin Yue knew that Ren was not going to die, so she didn't hold back and stabbed Ren in the heart with her sword.

Dan Heng, standing in the vacuum, was dumbfounded. "There's...there's such a thing? That's so satisfying!"

"I must say, that stab was really powerful." Dan Heng unconsciously gestured slightly in emulation.

Thinking that Danheng could empathize with Yinyue's perception, Meng Huaifeng controlled Yinyue to slash a few times with his sword, to vent his anger.

"Alright, buddy, that's enough. Don't go too far with our Ah Ren," Kafka said lazily, stepping forward to stop them.

This is my first time listing a product; I've been figuring out how to list it.

The fates of player characters and story characters may differ. If it is explainable, prioritize the player character's fate, as more people will agree with it. For characters like Sambo and Hanabi, whose fates are confirmed, choose the story's fate.
