"Shakyamuni!"

When Heaven bestowed this name upon Xuan Yin, he sensed that his ranking in the line of Buddhist successors had dropped by one place.

When he first entered the Solitary Garden, he was ranked thirty-sixth in the line of Buddhist successors, but now he has fallen to thirty-seventh.

All of this is simply because the chosen one of destiny from the Western lands has been born!

Xuan Yin wanted to investigate, but Mount Sumeru was a sacred site, and the two Western Saints had activated the protective array of Mount Sumeru, blocking all prying eyes. He had no way of understanding Jie Jia's situation.

The only thing he knew was that the name Shakyamuni was bestowed by the Heavenly Dao itself, and it caused the fortune of the Western land to surge like a tide.

In the Garden of Solitude, Shakyamuni is the source of the Buddhist path. Whoever's Dharma is profound and whoever can convince all Buddhas is the new Shakyamuni!
It does have a bit of the feel of a rotating Heavenly Emperor.

In fact, the reason why Xuan Yin suggested that Fu Xi open up the source of his own Dao Fruit and also suggested that Yaochi open up the source of the Heavenly Emperor's Dao Fruit was because he had listened to Shakyamuni preach in the Lonely Garden.

Since the number of Buddhas is not fixed, then Fuxi and the Heavenly Emperor can naturally take turns in power.

"Shakyamuni, Shakyamuni..."

Two names appeared in Xuan Yin's mind in turn, and the next moment, a mysterious message came from the Buddhist and Taoist holy land of the Lonely Garden.

After the birth of Shakyamuni, he directly became the first successor to the title of Shakyamuni, and the thirty-five successors before him followed in turn.

Although the current situation of Shakyamuni is unclear, Xuan Yin is certain that in the eyes of the two Western Saints, his status is no less than that of the Three Buddhas!
Even worse!

At the same time, looking at the newly born Shakyamuni surrounded by endless wisdom light, the Guide also couldn't help but show a look of shock.

Born a Greatly Enlightened Golden Immortal!
When Prajnaparamita was conceiving Shakyamuni, he preached to her day and night, and he and Cundi invested countless resources in her!

But it was all worth it!
The Great Luo Realm was created by Dao Ancestor Hongjun. Before Hongjun, there were no Great Luo Golden Immortals, only spiritual roots and spiritual treasures possessing Great Luo characteristics.

Even the Three Pure Ones, when they transformed into human form, although they possessed the characteristics of a Great Luo Immortal, were not truly Great Luo Immortals; they were merely beings whose foundations far surpassed those of ordinary innate deities!
The Great Awakening Golden Immortal, as the realm they both pioneered, is said to be comparable to the Great Luo Immortal, but it also requires sudden enlightenment and some fortuitous encounters!

But at this moment, Shakyamuni had just been born and had already cultivated the Four Wisdoms and Eight Consciousnesses. He was a naturally born Great Enlightened Golden Immortal, and his comprehension far surpassed that of ordinary Great Enlightened Golden Immortals.

He seemed to be born with all knowledge, and his whole being shone with boundless wisdom.

Zhunti Daoist's eyes lit up.

He knew very well that when he was at the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, and even after he became a saint and opened up the Great Awakening Golden Immortal realm by drawing on the Great Luo Immortal system, he did not possess the astonishing wisdom of Shakyamuni.

"I have met the Buddha, I have met the Mother Buddha!"

As soon as Shakyamuni was born, he understood the cause and effect between himself and the Amitabha and the Cundi, and immediately bowed respectfully to the two of them.

His gaze was then drawn to the Buddhist principles, Zen sounds, and Taoist essence on Mount Sumeru, and he entered the Western Religion's library to peruse the scriptures.

He could understand many legal principles at a glance, and he could readily use the various supernatural powers created by Jieyin and Zhunti for the Western religion.

In less than ten thousand years, he mastered most of the teachings of Western religion.

Jieyin and Zhunti were both happy and worried.

The good news is that the chosen one of the West possesses exceptional intelligence and the potential to become a sage.

What worries him is that the eight hundred unorthodox sects of Western Buddhism are not enough to satisfy Shakyamuni, who seems to have been born for spiritual practice.

Furthermore, deep affection is short-lived, and extreme wisdom is bound to bring harm. Although Huiguang, who far surpasses ordinary Great Enlightened Golden Immortals, can learn various supernatural powers almost instantly, Western methods alone cannot satisfy his needs, let alone allow him to advance further.

It's not that the methods of Western religions are ineffective, but rather that in the primordial true world, the more intelligent a being is, the more they like to learn from others and then forge their own unique path. Those top-tier supernatural beings almost always bring several cultivation systems to their extremes.

Shakyamuni has already comprehended all the Western supernatural powers that he can currently cultivate. What remains are those that he feels are not suitable for his own cultivation, as well as some supernatural powers that require the severing of the three bodies or even sainthood to master.

Therefore, he set his sights on the Multiverse Trading Platform and the Universal Knowledge Space, both of which contained the teachings of the three schools of Xuanmen.

Within a single epoch, he mastered the first six swords of the Nine Heavenly Swords, the first six seals of the Nine Primordial Seals, and six of the Nine Secrets of Taoism.

……

"Is this Shakyamuni truly so defying the heavens?"

When Xuan Yin learned of this news from Ksitigarbha, he was somewhat incredulous, thinking that this person's comprehension was even more impressive than his own.

"Even I find it hard to believe, but it is indeed an indisputable fact!"

Ksitigarbha did not feel any jealousy; he only had expectations for the future of the West, but there was always a trace of worry between his brows.

Heaven abhors perfection, and humanity abhors fullness. The moon wanes when it is full, and water overflows when it is full. Sometimes, being too perfect is not a good thing.

Xuan Yin also fell silent.

During this time, he had been trying to learn about Shakyamuni through various means, but he had not gained much information under the cover of the two Western Saints, until now... when he communicated with Ksitigarbha!

According to Ksitigarbha, Shakyamuni was born with all ten orifices open, possessing astonishing wisdom, and in some Buddhist philosophical thinking, he was even comparable to the two Western Saints.

Xuan Yin was born with a seven-aperture exquisite mind, which is already considered to be amazing wisdom. In the long river of time, there have been several beings who were proficient in all nine apertures, but because they were too perfect, they suffered calamities before they could grow up!

As for Shakyamuni, he was unprecedented and unparalleled in the world, possessing the ability to open all ten orifices. It is not surprising that Ksitigarbha would have such concerns.

The two Western Saints were also aware of this, and dared not let Shakyamuni leave Mount Sumeru.

Xuan Yin frowned deeply: "Goddess Nuwa, what kind of being have you created?" In his view, it was not surprising that a being with astonishing talent could be created by combining the essence of two saints with the fortune of the entire West.

But this is way too much!

In Xuan Yin's opinion, if we only consider wisdom, perhaps only the God of Wisdom can rival him!
But now, it has appeared in the body of a Great Enlightened Golden Immortal, a being created by a sage.

This is not the primordial era!

Xuan Yin's seven-aperture exquisite mind has undergone two transformations, and his wisdom is also quite astonishing, but he is still slightly inferior to Shakyamuni.

Therefore, he was quite certain that some changes had occurred in Shakyamuni that were difficult for ordinary people to understand.

The reason why the Ksitigarbha Taoist approached Xuan Yin was quite simple: he wanted Xuan Yin to take him to see the Goddess Nuwa of Tai Su Tian!
To understand the problems surrounding Buddha, one cannot bypass Nuwa, the instigator.

"Why don't you go yourself, fellow Daoist?"

Xuan Yin looked at Dizang. At the same time that his cultivation was advancing by leaps and bounds, Dizang, as a direct disciple of the Western Sect, also became a Great Awakened Golden Immortal.

Moreover, he was a practitioner of both immortals and Buddhas, being both a Great Immortal of the Immortal Path and a Great Enlightened Golden Immortal of the Buddha Path.

The newly created Tai Su Heaven by the Goddess Nuwa is located above the Heavenly Realm, very close to the Primordial True Realm. With Ksitigarbha's cultivation level, he could easily go there.

Upon hearing this, Ksitigarbha sighed softly and then said, "Because of some previous events, Goddess Nuwa doesn't treat our Western Sect disciples and the two saints very well. If I were to go by myself, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to enter the gates of Nuwa's Palace!"

"Fellow Daoist, you also have a part in the cause and effect of Shakyamuni's birth. If I hadn't kept my mouth shut, my Uncle-Master Zhunti would have inevitably caused you trouble!"

Hearing Ksitigarbha's words, Xuan Yin's lips twitched involuntarily. Although he had latched onto the Dao Ancestor's coattails and was no longer particularly wary of the Sage, it would still be troublesome if the Sage wanted to settle the karmic debts.

Especially since the Daoist Zhunti's attainments in the Dao of Cause and Effect are second only to the Primordial Heavenly Venerable, if he were to retaliate in kind and make me experience the same fate as the Prajna Buddha Mother, then things would be troublesome!

"Let's go!"

Helpless, Xuan Yin had no choice but to temporarily put aside the affairs of the Heavenly Court. He then concealed the secrets of heaven and the cause and effect, and quietly led the Ksitigarbha Daoist to the Tai Su Heaven.

Before long, he and the Taoist Ksitigarbha arrived at the Tai Su Heaven created by the Goddess Nuwa.

"Xuan Yin of the Jie Sect requests an audience with the Holy Mother!"

"Western Buddhist Ksitigarbha requests an audience with the Goddess Nuwa!"

As soon as they finished speaking, a spatial force descended from the void, and the two of them were transported to Nuwa's Palace under the light of creation. They quickly paid their respects to the goddess Nuwa.

"No need to be polite!"

Nuwa smiled slightly: "You two, you've come for Shakyamuni, haven't you!"

"However, I am not entirely clear about the changes in him. I simply incorporated some of the mysteries of humanity when I created him!"

"As we all know, humanity is nourished by the wisdom of all beings, and the Prajna Buddha Mother who gave birth to him, as the evil corpse of that guy Zhunti, can, to a certain extent, represent the wisdom of the Heavenly Way. It is understandable that his wisdom surpasses that of ordinary innate beings!"

"As for the reason why he was born with all ten orifices open, it may be because of the unity of man and nature!"

Nuwa's meaning was clear: although Shakyamuni was a being she created, the changes in him were something she had not anticipated.

In the beginning, Shakyamuni was just an experiment. She created him to scheme against the Western religion and the Cundi Daoist, in order to gain an opportunity for herself to attain enlightenment.

As for what happened later, she could only offer some guesses.

"Unity of man and nature?"

Hearing Nuwa's explanation, Ksitigarbha's brows relaxed slightly: "Doesn't that mean that Shakyamuni and the Devas have a karmic connection?"

That's how it is in theory!

Nuwa chuckled upon hearing this, "But Heaven abhors perfection, and humanity abhors excess, let alone both! Your concerns are not without merit!"

"He's likely to be robbed!"

As she spoke, her gaze swept over Xuan Yin: "The Way of Heaven has a dark side, and the Way of Man is a gathering place for the desires of all living beings. People who are too pure sometimes tend to go to extremes!"

Upon hearing this, Xuan Yin was immediately alarmed: "Does Your Majesty mean that Shakyamuni might fall into the demonic path in the future?"

"I never said that!"

Nuwa shook her head: "The difference between Buddha and demon is merely a possibility!"

As a sage of the Heavenly Dao, she can see a glimmer of possibility in the river of time and space, but this glimmer of possibility may not necessarily turn into reality!
However, the principle that prosperity must eventually decline and decline must eventually rise is a fundamental truth of nature. If Buddhism and the West were to flourish prematurely because of Shakyamuni, then that would be possible, since the source of Shakyamuni's influence would decline prematurely.

Everything in the universe has its predetermined destiny.

Ksitigarbha's face instantly turned extremely ugly. He had finally managed to make Kinnara the Western Ghost Emperor of the Underworld, freeing him from his original fate. How could he possibly want to see Shakyamuni fall into the demonic path?

But Xuan Yin was overjoyed!

Falling into demonhood is good!

If Shakyamuni were to fall into demonic possession, the fortunes of the demonic path might surge dramatically!
This is to his advantage!
