If the Buddhas of the past and present were to break off relations and engage in a fierce battle, it would undoubtedly damage the fortune of Buddhism and affect its reputation in the primordial world.

It does a hundred harms and no benefits.

The Bodhisattva of Sunlight sighed, then looked at Maitreya, the future Buddha: "Brother Maitreya, now, only you can stop them!"

Although Maitreya is one of the Buddhas of the Three Worlds, his strength may not be comparable to that of Dipankara Buddha and Tathagata, but he is still qualified to intervene in their battle.

Furthermore, the treasure that the Sage Zhunti attained enlightenment was usually kept by Maitreya!

Let them fight!

Maitreya remained unmoved and slowly said, "The truth cannot be revealed without debate! Since the two of you have already disregarded all pretense of saving face, even if you forcibly stop the fighting, it will only be a temporary suppression of your resentment!"

"It's completely meaningless!"

Of course, he also had his own ideas. If Dipankara Buddha did not fight with Tathagata, how would he, the future Buddha, have the opportunity to take the throne?

If Dipankara is defeated, I can win him over and together we can compete with the Buddha for the right to speak in Buddhism!
If the Tathagata were to be defeated, a present Buddha would not be able to suppress a past Buddha, and his prestige in Buddhism and the primordial world would certainly suffer a great blow.

That was also the opportunity for him to rise to power!

The Buddha has been in charge of the Buddhist community for three hundred years, yet he shows no intention of stepping down or yielding the position to a more capable person. How can the Buddhist community possibly have a future Buddha for the three hundred years?
"If the Buddhas of the past do not perish, and the Buddhas of the present do not decline, then how can there be an opportunity for the Buddhas of the future?"

In the endless void, the great battle between Tathagata and Dipankara continued, but overall, Tathagata, as the present Buddha, firmly held the upper hand.

With the twelve-petaled golden lotus of merit, the Tathagata can be said to be invincible.

And the Twenty-Four Devas gave Tathagata powerful offensive capabilities.

Given this ebb and flow, even if Dipankara Buddha cultivated for several hundred more eons than Tathagata, and his mastery of the Great Dao of Nirvana allowed him to continuously eliminate his own injuries through Nirvana, he still could not defeat the World-Honored One Tathagata.

"Ugh!"

Just as Dipankara Buddha was about to be defeated, a great force suddenly came from the boundless void, forcibly separating Dipankara Buddha and the World Honored One Tathagata.

It was Amitabha Buddha who intervened!

Although a debate arose within Buddhism between Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism, the Guide and the Sage Zhunti, for the sake of the overall stability of Buddhism, made an agreement that neither of them would interfere, but instead would allow their disciples to conduct their own debates…

Whoever wins will be the one to attain Mahayana enlightenment!

Even if you win, you should not ruthlessly kill the other side, as that would only needlessly deplete the Buddhist community's resources!

Fight without breaking apart!
This is what the two sages wanted to see.

"Stop it!"

Amitabha Buddha looked at the two with some helplessness and sighed, "If we continue fighting, it will only make us a laughing stock for the fellow Daoists of the Three Teachings of Xuanmen!"

Although his gaze was fixed on Dipankara Buddha and Tathagata Buddha, his peripheral vision inadvertently glanced at Lingji Bodhisattva and others!

There is Taoism within Buddhism, and Buddhism within Taoism. In order to strengthen Buddhism, from its very inception, Buddhism has never prohibited practitioners from the Xuanmen (Taoist) schools from joining...

Therefore, many of the bodhisattvas in the Lonely Garden are actually aliases of powerful figures from the Xuanmen sect!
Dipankara Buddha, however, was unwilling to accept this and immediately bowed, saying, "Duobao stole my opportunity; we are irreconcilable enemies. I beg the Holy One to uphold justice for me!"

Before Amitabha Buddha could speak, the World-Honored One Tathagata sneered, "This Sea-Stabilizing Pearl was given to me by Master Lingbao. How did it become an opportunity for the Ancient Buddha?"

"Then may I also say that the Qiankun Ruler in your hand, and the coffin lamp... were originally my own destiny?"

"This is absolutely ridiculous!"

Upon hearing this, Amitabha Buddha looked at Dipankara Buddha and said, "Of the fifty Great Daos, one is missing. The opportunities in the primordial world are not fixed. Those twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls were indeed a karmic arrangement set by Fellow Daoist Tongtian, and he voluntarily bestowed them upon Duobao!"

In this matter, Tathagata Duobao was indeed in the right, and Dipankara Buddha, despite suffering a great loss, could only swallow his anger.

But seeing the appearance of the lamp, he couldn't just ignore it. So he took out a top-grade acquired spiritual treasure that he had refined himself.

"This is the Wheel of Nirvana, which I forged 30,000 years ago by fusing the twelve broken Great Thousand Worlds using the Great Dao of Nirvana!"

"Although it is not as powerful as the Twenty-Four Heavens, it still possesses the power of the Twelve Great Thousand Worlds!"

"Today, I will give it to you, fellow Daoist!"

The sage incarnate spoke, defining the nature of the matter. No matter how unwilling the Buddha Dipankara was, he could only accept the sage's judgment.

A great battle was thus averted by the incarnation of a saint, but the rift in the heart of Dipankara Buddha was one that no one could mend.

He could only accept the Wheel of Nirvana, bow and say, "Thank you for the Holy One's grace in bestowing this treasure!"

"It's boring!"

However, the Victorious Fighting Buddha and others watching the play in the Lonely Garden found it very boring, thinking that the great battle started by the two Buddhas was a half-hearted affair.

Only Maitreya Buddha, upon witnessing this scene, couldn't help but let a glint of light flash in his eyes.

When Dipankara left the Garden of Solitude and returned to the mortal world, he was extremely depressed. Although the Dharma Wheel of Nirvana was good, how could it compare to the Twenty-Four Devas?

Moreover, at the current juncture, the Sage of Guidance has not yet refined the Wheel of Nirvana. If he wants to truly grasp the Wheel of Nirvana, he must wait until Buddhism flourishes and Duobao ascends to power!
How could he not be angry?
At this moment, he even thought about personally taking action to kill Duobao Daoist in this time and space, so as to prevent Duobao Tathagata from competing with him for opportunities in the future.

Ke Duobao has already attained the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, a realm that is eternally attained. If I were to make a move against him, the World Honored One Tathagata would certainly not stand idly by.

Besides, how could that sage on Jin'ao Island stand by and watch me attack Duobao?
This is a dead end!

Even if he was unwilling, he could only suffer this great loss unless he could become a saint and open up a new possibility in this dead end.

Meanwhile, on Jin'ao Island, after experiencing the profound mysteries of the Great Luo Realm, Daoist Duobao once again turned his gaze to Xuan Yin. He looked at Xuan Yin with great anticipation: "Junior brother, you have many clever ideas. Is there still an opportunity for me to obtain in this Primordial True World?"

"Yes, I have!"

Xuan Yin looked at Daoist Duobao and laughed, "Senior Brother Duobao, who else but you can revitalize the West! Although the Dragon Clan has repaid a considerable amount of its debt to the West, aren't there still the Phoenix Clan and the Qilin Clan?"

"The corpses of the dragon race can transform into dragon veins in the West, and the corpses of the Qilin race should be able to transform into several sacred mountains in the West without any problem!"

The physical body of the Primordial Qilin can evolve into Qilin Cliff, and by analogy, the physical bodies of other Great Luo Qilin can also evolve into several sacred mountains.

Duobao's eyes lit up: "Junior brother, do you perhaps have connections with the Qilin clan?"

Upon hearing this, Xuan Yin couldn't help but laugh and said, "Senior Brother, have you forgotten that Senior Brother Shui Huo's parents once protected me for a period of time? Although they are now following the Four No-Forms, there is still a bond of kinship between them and the disciples of our Jie Sect! Senior Brother, you can take Senior Brother Shui Huo to visit them!"

After Xuan Yin said that, Duo Bao also remembered this cause and effect: "That merit..."

"Senior brother, you decide what to do!"

Xuan Yin thought for a moment and said, "However, it would be best to give the lion's share of the merit to the Qilin clan! But it would be best to do so in a discreet way!"

"Just like I used to be!"

Daoist Duobao immediately nodded: "In that case, let's give them 70%, and the remaining 30% will be divided equally between you and me, and the Water and Fire Boy! I'll go find the Water and Fire Boy now!"

Soon, Daoist Duobao drafted a Heavenly Dao Divine Contract. He took the lead and asked the Four-Unlikes of the Qilin Clan to provide the materials. He, Xuan Yin, and the Water and Fire Boys would then profit from the price difference.

The West, being the private domain of those two sages, is steeped in karma, making Duobao the only one suitable to undertake such a great undertaking as revitalizing the West!

After watching Daoist Duobao leave with the Water and Fire Boy, Xuan Yin continued to cultivate in peace. After absorbing the cultivation insights of the Nine Golden Crows, his Golden Immortal Dao Fruit was almost complete!

Meanwhile, under the management of tens of thousands of dragon people, the spirit world has become well-organized.

Although there is still a long way to go before he can ascend to the Great Thousand World, with so many dragon people who govern the Dao sorting out the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and replenishing the rules of heaven and earth for him, a solid foundation has already been laid.

"The true nature is inherently empty!"

Xuan Yin sat cross-legged under the Five Needle Pine, patiently sensing the spirituality of each particle.

When he was comprehending the Dao Evolution Divine Body at the Profound Immortal realm, he grasped the Dao of transforming his body into the void. At the True Immortal realm, he thoroughly understood the principle of existence and non-existence. With the cultivation insights gained from the Nine Golden Crows, the two stages of emptiness and nothingness at the Golden Immortal realm were not a problem for him, thanks to his ability to draw inferences from one instance to another.

Only when one's true nature is empty can one truly understand emptiness. This requires a considerable amount of time, and since everyone's true nature is different, their understanding of emptiness will naturally differ as well.

What is emptiness?
For Buddhist and Taoist practitioners, seeing one's true nature is Buddhahood, and their concept of emptiness is about letting go.

For Sun Wukong, breaking free from stubbornness is Wukong; letting go of the monkey and letting the horse run wild means revealing his true nature.

But Xuan Yin is not a Buddhist or Taoist cultivator, so he cannot let go of everything; nor is he Sun Wukong, so he cannot pursue everything he wants regardless of the consequences.

As a human, he was very attached to his own beliefs. As a human with a keen mind, he possessed wisdom far exceeding that of ordinary people. However, this wisdom also made him hesitant and cautious, unable to always follow his nature.

He has a flexible bottom line and almost no principles. He weighs the pros and cons when doing things and will give up when things are not in his best interest.

But he holds grudges!

Even if he gives up temporarily, when he has the strength to settle all scores, he will find his true self again from the river of time.

He is like a seed.

Before becoming a towering tree, it will choose to lie low and lie dormant. Once it has strength, its former ambitions will turn into a prairie fire, burning away its former cowardice and sweeping across the entire Primordial True Realm.

"A single spark can start a prairie fire!"

At this moment, Xuan Yin had already tempered the Immortal Gold Nature into every particle of his physical body, and his Undying Immortal Consciousness was also approaching perfection.

He is using the methods of the Shangqing lineage to constantly temper himself, seemingly to burn everything away and turn his Dao body into ashes.

The primordial spirit vanished into nothingness, the physical body turned into particles, the immortal consciousness merged into the void, and the magical power merged into heaven and earth, leaving only a single thought, like a spark.

At this moment, he seemed to be in a state of annihilation, or perhaps in the process of rebirth. In just a short while, he felt that his life level had undergone a transformation.

Now, he is neither a living being nor matter, but a piece of information, yet he can transform into all living beings and matter according to his will.

Boom!

In an instant, his consciousness transformed into a raging inferno, melting everything as if to forge a completely new Dao body for himself from nothing.

The primordial essence, primordial qi, and primordial spirit merged into one, reflecting the long river of time and space, reflecting the Yu Yu Heaven, allowing him to glimpse a wisp of primordial yellow qi in a trance.

In an instant, the primordial yellow energy transformed into the Lingbao Heavenly Venerable, demonstrating the phenomena of the birth and death of the Great Dao, guiding his consciousness toward the Great Luo Heaven of the Sages.

The Taoist worldview has thirty-six heavens, of which twenty-eight are within the Three Realms and eight are outside the Three Realms.

The heavens within the Three Realms can be further divided into the Desire Realm, the Form Realm, and the Formless Realm.

In the Desire Realm, people have desires and physical bodies; in the Form Realm, people have no desires but physical bodies; and in the Formless Realm, people have neither desires nor physical bodies.

The journey from the Desire Realm to the Formless Realm is, in fact, the process of pursuing the inherent emptiness of one's true nature.

As Xuan Yin's consciousness grew higher and higher, he traversed the Desire Realm, the Form Realm, and the Formless Realm, finally arriving at the Four Brahma Heavens below the Great Luo Heaven of the Sage. His Golden Immortal Dao Fruit also reached its complete perfection.

Furthermore, as the Golden Immortal Dao Fruit reached its perfect state, at the moment of merging with the Dao, he also comprehended a divine power from endless space and time.

[A Wildfire]

This is not the Samadhi True Fire that all living beings can cultivate, nor is it the divine fire that is innate to all living beings, such as the True Fire of the Sun or the Divine Fire of the Moon.

Rather, it is his Great Dao, which interacts with all other Daos, evolving into a unique fire-based divine power that belongs only to him; as long as his thoughts are not extinguished, the prairie fire will never go out.
