Chapter 24 Spiritual Artifacts
The library has many books, and the texts are written in several different languages. Mo Yu found some that she could understand, mostly personal records and secrets of medieval nobles.

Among these, he discovered many records about witchers.

Just as Mo Yu was engrossed in watching, a voice rang out from behind him.

The author was incredibly powerful, having captured many demon hunters and conducted in-depth dissections and various research tests on them, attempting to unravel the secrets of their bodies' magical energy storage. The records were tedious, involving numerous theories and studies, making them quite challenging to read, but Mo Yu found them fascinating. With his research and theoretical skills, he could quickly understand and memorize these materials.

Faint footsteps came from the doorway.

Mo Yu looked up and saw a maid carrying an exquisite tray with teacups and a teapot on it.

When the maid noticed Mo Yu, a hint of surprise flashed across her face, but she quickly concealed it. Without uttering a word, she simply carried the tray to Iris's side, put the tray down, and stood quietly behind Iris.

The library was very quiet.

After an unknown amount of time, just as Mo Yu was engrossed in his work, Elise's voice rang in his ear, very close, and he could feel the cold air blowing against it: "You want to be a demon hunter?"

Mo Yu turned around.

Elise squatted down beside him, tilting her head to look at the book in his hand.

They were very close, almost touching.

Mo Yu replied, "I am very interested in their cultivation methods."

"You are an Awakened One, and you should focus on developing your abilities. Humans, your lifespan and energy are limited, so you must concentrate on developing your abilities," Elise advised.

Mo Yu smiled and said, "I'm just curious. Are there any books here about magic cultivation methods?"

Elise shook her head and said, "No, magic cultivation is a human method of cultivation; non-humans cannot cultivate it. This kind of thing is not spread casually. After many demon hunter families perished, magic cultivation also ended up being lost."

The maid bowed her head and said, "Yes, Miss, the last time we fought the Witcher was 19 years ago." She then explained to Mo Yu, "This is the warehouse where we store the spoils of war."

Mo Yu pressed further: "What happened 19 years ago?"

The maid replied, "Nothing happened. The young lady has grown up and become more careful. Since then, no witcher has been able to track us."

The maid went into the warehouse first and lit the candles. The flames lit up from all directions, illuminating the dark warehouse.

There are many iron shelves here, each displaying items, mostly weapons and various armors, as well as some books, pendants and other miscellaneous items.

Elise walked in, looked around as if reminiscing, and finally said to Mo Yu:

"Take any you like and use them. Vampires cannot use these weapons. Remember to erase your family mark and don't cause trouble."

"Thank you for your kindness, young lady."

Mo Yu placed one hand on his chest and answered with his head down. Then, he saw a small, fair hand, the back of which was facing upwards. He looked up in confusion and met Elise's gaze, then instantly understood what she meant.

A hand kiss.

It's cool to the touch, lacking the body temperature of a human, but it's soft and bouncy.

This is the magic described in the book.

He picked up the longsword and brandished it.

Although these weapons lack magic and cannot unleash their full power, they are still quite effective when used purely by brute force. Weapons imbued with magic deal increased damage to monsters, similar to the effects of Confession, only not as ridiculously powerful.
