Chapter 238 Rain Village, a Land of Outstanding People and Abundant Resources
Chapter 238 Rain Village, a Land of Outstanding People and Abundant Resources
In the center of the training field, the battle was nearing its end.
Sweat soaked through the clothes of the four boys, and their heavy breathing was clearly audible.
Despite their best efforts and increasingly seamless teamwork, they still found themselves outmatched by Uchiha Hikaru's artistic taijutsu and combat experience.
Uchiha Hikaru's figure was like a ghost, each movement precisely cutting into the gaps in their coordination.
She didn't use any fancy ninjutsu; she simply used her chakra reserves, which were suppressed to the level of a Chunin, and her unparalleled taijutsu to corner them.
The first to fall was Sato Sayun.
After a fierce fire-style attack, he attempted to close the distance, but his lower body was exposed.
As predicted, Uchiha Hikaru approached and gently hooked his toe. Zuo Yun felt a sharp pain in his ankle, lost his balance, and fell heavily to the ground, unable to get up for a moment.
"Your offensive is fierce, but your lower body is weak and has too many openings. You need to improve your basic physical fitness and the stability of your taijutsu." Uchiha Hikaru's cool voice rang in his ears, pointing out his shortcomings and, like a cold spring, extinguishing the anxiety in his heart.
Almost simultaneously, in order to protect Suzuhara Ai who was nearly hit by the palm strike, Itada Suke forcefully blocked the attack. His training short sword was flicked away by Uchiha Hikaru's finger, leaving him wide open.
Uchiha Hikaru gently placed his palm on his chest, and a soft yet irresistible force pushed him backward, causing him to fall to the ground with a thud, his blood churning.
"His swordsmanship is sharp and overly aggressive, which is good for deadly combat but not for infiltration and assassination missions. He needs to learn to temper his sharpness and sheath his sword." Her comments directly addressed the core problem with Itada's fighting style.
His swordsmanship is too murderous; he needs to learn to conceal that murderous intent.
Suzuhara Ai exclaimed in surprise and tried to use medical ninjutsu to relieve her companion's pain, but Uchiha Hikaru's figure had already appeared in front of her like a shadow.
Those calm, unwavering black eyes looked at her without attacking, but the invisible pressure made Suzuhara Ai freeze, and the green chakra she had gathered in her hand instantly dissipated.
"Having compassion and being good at rescue is a good thing. But the battlefield is ever-changing, and excessive hesitation and cowardice may put you and your teammates in greater danger. Sometimes, you need to be bolder and trust your own judgment." Uchiha Hikaru's words carried a hint of guidance.
Finally, only Otsutsuki Toneri remained, his Byakugan activated, trying to capture every detail of Uchiha Hikaru's every move.
His insightful observations did cause some minor trouble for Uchiha Hikaru, but that was all.
When he tried to predict Uchiha Hikaru's next landing point and launch an attack in advance, Uchiha Hikaru changed direction at a speed far exceeding his expectations and gently touched his forehead with her fingertips.
"The Byakugan is a powerful tool, but relying too much on the insight gained from the bloodline limit can lead to neglecting the accumulation of physical instincts and combat experience. Your basic taijutsu and on-the-spot adaptability are far inferior to the other three. You need to strengthen your training and not just be an observer." Uchiha Hikaru's evaluation was incisive, pointing out the sense of superiority and alienation that Toneri possessed due to his background.
The battle ended, and the four of them sat or lay on the ground, panting.
Uchiha Hikaru acted with great restraint. Although the four were physically unharmed, their sense of defeat was palpable.
They tried their best, but couldn't even touch the edge of the bell.
"We... are still too weak." Itada Suke gritted his teeth and punched the ground in frustration.
Sato Sakumo collapsed to the ground, panting as he looked up at the sky: "Master Hikaru... he's too strong... there's absolutely no hope of winning..."
Suzuhara Ai whispered comfortingly, "After all... that's Lord Mitsu..."
Shiro remained silent, simply closing his eyes, Uchiha Hikaru's words echoing in his mind.
Ever since he got those white eyes, he has become too dependent on them.
Looking at the four dejected boys, Uchiha Hikaru softened his tone slightly: "Don't be discouraged. Your performance far surpasses that of ordinary genin. Your teamwork and on-the-spot adaptability are commendable. What I'm pointing out are simply directions you need to work on in the future. Remember how you felt today; it will become your motivation to become stronger."
Soon, several medical ninjas stepped forward and used healing ninjutsu to relieve the four people's fatigue and some bruises.
Although the depletion of chakra and mental exhaustion cannot be recovered immediately, at least the ability to move is not impaired.
Then, a grand awards ceremony began.
Including the four of them, a total of nineteen trainees successfully passed the assessment and became the new batch of genin in the Land of Stars.
Menma personally stepped to the front of the stage and presented each new genin with a five-pointed red star headband symbolizing their status as star ninjas, and shook hands with them briefly.
When it was Toneri, Itadasuke, Suzuhara Ai, and Sato Sagumo's turn, Menma's gaze lingered on them for a few more moments.
"Congratulations on your official graduation." His voice, steady and powerful, resounded throughout the venue through the loudspeaker.
"From today onward, you are no longer students, but ninjas of the Star Country, the cornerstones of peace and the future. The road ahead may be full of challenges, but remember, you are not alone. The Star Country will be your strongest support. We look forward to your future performance."
His words were concise, yet carried a powerful and awe-inspiring force, filling the new genin with a sense of honor and responsibility.
Menma also announced that the specific rewards for the top nine and the list of mentors to be assigned will be officially announced tomorrow at the Ninja Academy.
Furthermore, the names of the top four in this year's graduation assessment—Otsutsuki Toneri, Itada Susuke, Suzuhara Ai, and Sato Sagumo—will be engraved on the Ninja Academy's Hall of Fame as an inspiration to future generations.
The grand graduation assessment concluded amidst cheers and applause.
The trainees and audience members gradually dispersed with mixed feelings, many of them still excitedly discussing the spectacular "bell-grabbing" test they had just witnessed.
On the high platform, the high-ranking officials of the Star Kingdom did not leave immediately.
Uchiha Hikaru, Yakushi Nono, Uzumaki Kaoru, Hoshigaki Kisame, Gota, Natsumi, Hotaru, and others came to Menma's side and whispered their observations and suggestions about the new genin.
Mianma listened carefully and quickly made arrangements.
"Wota, Hotaru," he called out, "you two each select three outstanding and resilient new genin to form a team, and you will personally lead the team to train them."
"Yes, sir!" Wu Tai and Ying Huo accepted the order. One of them was in charge of construction and the other had been leading the team for many years. They were experienced and were good at training new people.
Menma roughly assigned the remaining new genin based on the availability and areas of expertise of the jonin and special jonin, ensuring that everyone could receive relatively suitable guidance.
Finally, his gaze fell on the last four names.
“Toneri, Suzuhara Ai, Sato Sagumo,” Menma said, looking at Uchiha Hikaru. “Hikaru, these three children are in your hands.”
Uchiha Hikaru seemed to have expected this, a barely perceptible smile playing on his lips as he nodded: "Yes. I will 'train' them properly."
Her gaze swept over the three teenagers who were whispering to each other in the distance, sending a chill down their spines.
Then, Menma left Kisame Hoshigaki alone.
"Kisame," Menma's voice deepened, "I want that kid named Ita-suke to join the Anbu."
Kisame Hoshigaki's shark-like eyes flickered, revealing a hint of interest: "Anbu? Does the master want him... to be exposed to the dark side as soon as possible?"
He knew that the missions carried out by the Anbu were completely different from those of regular ninjas, filled with shadows, bloodshed, and unavoidable choices.
Menma nodded slowly, his gaze deep: "Only by truly gazing into the darkness and personally understanding what darkness is can one more profoundly understand the meaning of protecting the light, and only then can one more firmly wield the sword in one's hand."
"Ida Suke has outstanding talent in physical combat and swordsmanship. What's even more remarkable is that he possesses a composure and the potential for on-the-spot command far beyond his peers. He is a rough gem that needs the most rigorous polishing. If you let him follow you, he can learn many things that he cannot learn in the light, and these things may save him and his teammates in the future."
Kisame Hoshigaki grinned, revealing his signature shark-tooth smile: "Understood, sir. I will carefully 'polish' this rough gem."
He also developed a strong interest in the silver-haired, black-eyed, and determined-looking boy.
That evening, inside a bustling barbecue restaurant in Xingzhidu.
"Boss! Five more plates of top-quality beef tongue! It's on me today!" Morishita Toshito slammed his hand on the table, his voice booming, his face beaming with the joy of receiving his bonus.
He, Kimimaro, Haku, Yukimi, Chino, Hazuki, and other classmates are celebrating together.
"Oh ho! Junren is being so generous today? Looks like the rewards for that A-level mission and the S-level team mission in the You Kingdom campaign were quite substantial!" Xuejian teased with a smile, picking up a sizzling piece of grilled meat and putting it in her mouth.
Morishita Toshihito raised his chin smugly, glancing at Kimimaro, who sat quietly opposite him, sipping water. There was a hint of competition in his eyes: "That's right! You've seen your share of big events! So, Kimimaro, how's your mission going lately? Want to have a chat?"
Kimimaro raised his eyelids, glanced at him, and said in a flat tone, "Not bad. I completed two S-rank missions and five A-rank missions."
"Pfft—!" Morishita Toshito almost choked on the meat in his mouth, coughing violently and widening his eyes.
"How many?! Two S-ranks?! Five A-ranks?! You...you're a mission machine?!"
He originally thought he had made rapid progress and had narrowed the gap, but he did not expect that his opponent not only did not stop, but instead left him far behind at an even more terrifying speed!
This feeling of being completely crushed is both frustrating and unacceptable, but more than anything, it's a sense of resignation.
Kimimaro's strength and efficiency far surpassed theirs.
Bai smiled gently and smoothed things over, "Alright, alright, the number of missions doesn't matter, as long as everyone is back safe and sound. Hurry up and eat the meat, it's almost burnt."
The atmosphere at the dinner party became lively again, but Morishita Toshito's gaze towards Kimimaro held a newfound respect and a determination to catch up.
On the other side, in the territory of the Otsutsuki clan.
This is a mansion located in a quiet area of Star City, with a rustic and mysterious style.
When Toneri returned home, his father, Ōtsutsuki Sakuto, was sitting on the veranda. Although he was still old, his expression was much more peaceful than before.
He lost most of his power, but his perception of "Mind's Eye" remained.
“Father, I’m back,” the servant said softly.
"Hmm. How was today's assessment?" Shuo Ren asked in a hoarse voice.
Sheren paused for a moment, then truthfully recounted the process and how he was defeated and criticized, without concealing anything.
After listening, Shuo Ren remained silent for a moment before slowly saying, "Lord Uchiha Hikaru... your assessment is quite accurate. Since the destruction of the main family, our branch family has indeed relied too much on bloodline and eye techniques for a long time, and has lacked real training."
"It's good that you've been guided to this point. The Star Kingdom... is different from the Moon. It's more vibrant, and also more brutal. Follow that person and hone your skills. This is good for you."
Sheren looked at his father and nodded solemnly: "I understand, Father."
The next morning, the nineteen new genin who had passed the test arrived early at the stands of the first training ground, waiting with nervous anticipation for their fate to be decided.
Soon, one by one, special Jonin or Jonin arrived at the sidelines, called out names, and the Genin who were called immediately stood up excitedly or nervously and left with their future mentors.
The crowd gradually decreased.
In the end, only four people remained in the audience: Toneri Otsutsuki, Susuke Ita, Ai Suzuhara, and Saoto Sagumo.
Sato Sakumo shifted uncomfortably, muttering under his breath, "What's going on? Are there only four of us left? Does no one want us?"
Suzuhara Ai also seemed a little nervous, her hands twisting together.
The attendant closed his eyes to rest, seemingly unmoved.
Itada Suke sat upright, his eyes calm beneath his short silver hair, simply waiting silently.
Just then, the branches of a large tree nearby swayed gently, and Uchiha Hikaru's figure appeared silently on the trunk like a falling leaf, looking down at them.
“Otsutsuki Toneri, Suzuhara Ai, Sato Sakumo.” She read out the three names in a cool voice: “Come with me to the second training ground.”
The three of them were taken aback, then immediately stood up, feeling both excited and apprehensive.
Zuo Yun and Suzuhara Ai glanced subconsciously at Ita Suke, who was still sitting in the same spot, with a hint of doubt in their eyes, but they still quickly followed Uchiha Hikaru and disappeared from the sidelines.
Now, only Ita Suke remains in the empty stands.
The sun gradually rose higher, and time passed little by little.
From early morning until nearly noon, Itada remained sitting upright, motionless, like a silent sculpture.
Only his stomach, which occasionally rumbled slightly from hunger, betrayed a hint of his inner anxiety.
But he waited patiently, his gaze unwavering.
Just as the midday sun was at its most intense, a tall, imposing figure appeared out of nowhere, like a ghost, in the shadows behind Itada Suke, completely blocking out the light behind him.
An indescribable sense of oppression, a mixture of blood and powerful chakra, instantly enveloped Ita-suke!
Itada Suke's muscles tensed instantly, and almost instinctively, his hand reached for the hilt of the training short sword at his waist, and he turned around abruptly!
What came into view was a fierce face like a shark, with serrated teeth in its open mouth, and a huge, bizarre ninja sword tightly wrapped in bandages on its back.
Kisame Hoshigaki looked down at the silver-haired boy who had instantly become alert, a hint of barely perceptible satisfaction flashing in his eyes.
He grinned, his voice low and hoarse:
"Kid, getting impatient, huh?"
"My name is Kisame Hoshigaki. From today onwards, I will be your Jonin instructor." "At the same time, I will also be your direct superior in the Anbu."
"Now, stop standing there and come with me to where you're supposed to be."
Ida's pupils contract slightly; darkness falls!
Their full name is the Assassination Tactical Special Forces. They are the most elite and most responsible units in each ninja village!
Itada instantly understood the meaning of his waiting and felt the stark contrast of heaviness and darkness ahead.
Without the slightest hesitation, he released his grip on the sword hilt, stood up, and solemnly bowed to Kisame Hoshigaki.
"Yes, Lord Kisame!"
There were no unnecessary questions, no cowardly retreats, only absolute calm and obedience.
This composure made Kisame Hoshigaki's smile widen even further.
"Heh...that's interesting. Let's go, newbie."
------
The second training ground is smaller than the first, but the environment is more complex, with forests, water areas, and small rocky areas.
After bringing Otsutsuki Toneri, Suzuhara Ai, and Sato Sagumo here, Uchiha Hikaru didn't exchange any pleasantries and directly took out a scroll from his ninja tool bag.
“This is your team’s first mission.” She tossed the scroll to Sato Sayun, who was standing at the front: “Class C extermination mission. The objective is to clear out a group of armed men in the deep mountains of northern Oni County.”
Sato Sakumo caught the scroll somewhat clumsily and quickly joined Suzuhara Ai and Toneri to open it and take a look.
The scroll contained detailed mission information:
This group of armed men were remnants of the former Daimyo of Oni Kingdom. After the Daimyo Prefecture was overthrown, they fled into the treacherous deep mountains and forests of the north with some of their wealth and loyal followers. Thanks to their familiarity with the terrain, they evaded the raids organized by the Oni County police on several occasions.
They had been lying in wait, but the lack of food during the recent winter forced them to come out of the mountains and raid two outlying villages, causing casualties and material losses.
The police in Oni County initially thought they were ordinary bandits and dispatched special police units to surround and eliminate them. However, during the firefight, they discovered that the bandits were exceptionally difficult to deal with, well-equipped, and experienced in combat.
After several engagements, the police paid a considerable price to kill several people and capture one.
According to the prisoners, the leader of this remnant group was the illegitimate son of the former daimyo of the Land of Demons. He was guarded by at least three powerful wandering samurai, and it was highly likely that he had also hired wandering ninjas.
"Therefore, the mission difficulty falls into the higher category of Rank C," Uchiha Hikaru's cool voice rang out, explaining to them.
"If multiple wandering ninjas are confirmed to exist, the mission level may be temporarily raised to B. This is perfect for you three greenhorns, allowing you to experience real combat without facing an enemy you can't possibly defeat."
This mission is the only one that Uchiha Hikaru found among many missions that is below rank B, but still challenging.
Without the wandering ninja, there would be no need for her to take action against the wandering samurai and some bandits.
Sato Sakumo stared at the words "attack on the village" and "casualties" described on the scroll, his crimson eyes blazing with fury, his fists clenching: "These damned remnants of the nobility! How dare they come out and harm people!"
Suzuhara Ai's face also turned a little pale, not from fear, but from sadness and anger for the victim. She subconsciously touched her medical kit.
Otsutsuki Toneri frowned slightly, his Byakugan unconsciously activating as he scanned his surroundings, seemingly simulating reconnaissance in a mountainous environment: "The mountainous environment is complex, unfavorable for large-scale searches, but advantageous for small, elite raids and covert operations. A detailed infiltration and attack plan needs to be developed."
Uchiha Hikaru, observing the three's reactions, was fairly satisfied: "You have half an hour to familiarize yourselves with the scroll's information and discuss preliminary tactics. We'll depart for the Demon County in half an hour. During the mission, I won't easily intervene unless an unexpected event occurs that's beyond your capabilities. Understand?"
"Understood!" the three replied in unison, their expressions becoming serious and focused, and they immediately gathered together to begin their discussion.
On the other side, Kisame Hoshigaki led Ida Suke through the bustling streets of the Star City and arrived at a seemingly ordinary supply warehouse on the outskirts of the military zone.
There were two seemingly lazy but actually sharp-eyed guards at the entrance. Upon seeing Kisame, they immediately bowed silently and opened the warehouse door.
Inside the warehouse were some ordinary building materials. Kisame walked to the innermost wall, casually formed a few hand seals, and then pressed his palm against a spot on the wall.
After a slight fluctuation of chakra, the wall silently slid open to the side, revealing a downward-facing, brightly lit metal staircase.
"Follow me." Kisame walked down without looking back.
Itada took a deep breath, suppressing his curiosity and nervousness, and followed closely behind.
The stairs are long and go deep underground.
Upon reaching the bottom, a breathtaking view suddenly opened up before me.
This is an extremely spacious underground space with an astonishingly high ceiling. The overall style is austere and efficient, mainly using metal and reinforced stone.
Soft chakra lamps are embedded in the ceiling and walls to provide illumination.
The space is divided into several areas: training ground, equipment depot, intelligence analysis room, rest area, mission briefing room, etc.
Many figures were bustling about, mostly dressed in black spies uniforms or casual clothes. Although most of them wore animal masks, many did not completely cover their faces, or pushed their masks up to their heads. They would also whisper to each other. Although the atmosphere was serious, it was not lifeless. Instead, there was a sense of tension from efficient operation.
This was completely different from the dark base that Itada had imagined, a place filled with oppression and bloodshed.
"Kisame-sama!"
"Captain!"
"Sir, you are back."
When passing members of the Anbu saw Kisame Hoshigaki, they all stopped or nodded in greeting, their tone filled with awe.
Their gazes also curiously swept over the silver-haired boy behind Kisame, whose face was youthful but whose eyes were calm.
Itada tried hard to suppress his urge to look around, and followed Kisame without glancing to the side.
Kisame seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, and his hoarse voice rang out: "Don't be so tense, rookie. Now that you're here, just look around openly. From today onwards, you're also a member of the Anbu, with Level 1 access here. You have the right to use most of the equipment and areas, as long as you don't mess with those marked as dangerous restricted areas."
Itada was taken aback by what he heard, then relaxed a little and began to cautiously observe his surroundings.
He saw people practicing high-speed moving target shooting, silent assassination techniques, and even adapting to wearing chakra-powered armor that was more advanced than his own.
In the intelligence analysis room, complex data streams and map information scroll across a huge screen.
"The Dark Side is the shield of the Land of Stars, and also the blade hidden in the shadows," Kisame explained in his unique voice as he walked.
"The main responsibilities are to protect important national figures, prevent and eliminate external threats from infiltrating, gather intelligence on enemy countries, and... carry out some special missions that cannot be made public, including assassinations."
He paused, then added, “Unlike the Anbu in other ninja villages who only obey orders and become mere tools of slaughter, Lord Shura said that Anbu ninjas are first and foremost human beings, ninjas of the Land of Stars. Therefore, here, for every mission, we will clearly understand why we are carrying it out, who the target is, and what the cause and effect are. What we need to do is understand the meaning behind the mission and then carry it out, instead of becoming blindfolded puppets wielding swords. Remember this.”
Ita listened attentively and took those words to heart.
This idea gave him a sense of inexplicable peace and acceptance.
The two arrived at a door marked "Equipment Department".
Kisame pushed open the door and entered, saying to a staff member inside who was wiping ninja tools and wearing a tanuki mask, "Same as always, give the newbie a set of standard equipment."
"Yo, Captain-Commander, you've recruited another newcomer?" A slightly aged but powerful voice came from behind the tanuki mask. He sized up Ita-suke.
"Kid, you're lucky to have been brought here personally by Lord Kisame. Come here and let me take your measurements."
Soon, a brand-new set of matte black chakra-powered armor (Type II) along with a matching tight-fitting combat suit, ninja tool bag, communicator and other equipment was handed over to Ita.
After he put it on, he felt much lighter and his strength seemed to have increased.
Finally, Kisame pointed to a row of various animal masks hanging on the wall: "Anbu members all have their own code names and masks. Pick one, rookie. From now on, it will be your face and name in many situations."
Itada's gaze swept over the ferocious, powerful, and cunning animal masks, finally settling on a bird mask that looked unremarkable and even somewhat plain.
It resembled a fledgling bird that had not yet grown up and was still somewhat immature.
He reached out and removed the mask, his voice calm yet firm: "Since you call me a rookie, then my code name will be 'Rookie'."
Kisame Hoshigaki paused for a moment, then let out a low laugh: "Heh... whatever you want."
From then on, the secret service had a new recruit codenamed "Rookie".
In the days that followed, Ida-suke, codenamed 'rookie,' began a high-intensity training and life in the Anbu that was completely different from that of ordinary ninjas.
Because of the heavy and dangerous nature of the ANBU missions, he was subjected to training far beyond what his peers could endure, even though he was a genin.
Initially, his missions mainly involved protecting important officials and escorting classified materials. However, even these "relatively safe" missions required him to maintain the highest level of vigilance at all times and be familiar with various emergency plans.
At the same time, he also had to undergo a lot of additional training: infiltration, tracking, counter-tracking, interrogation and counter-interrogation, cryptography, disguise, and mastering the various functions and applications of the chakra-powered armor.
Every day, his time and energy are squeezed to the limit.
But he never complained. His black pupils beneath his silver hair remained calm and focused as he eagerly absorbed all knowledge and honed all his skills.
He knew that here, slowing down meant certain death, and being weak enough meant he couldn't protect anything.
--------
In the Star City, on a certain underground floor of the military research zone, inside a heavily guarded laboratory.
Mianma was standing in front of a workbench, the metal surface of which was covered with various runes.
His fingertips were filled with highly concentrated chakra, which he carefully guided through the runes, ultimately perfectly inscribing an extremely complex technique containing powerful binding force—"Sealing in a Cage"—into a specially made blank scroll.
As the last rune fell, the entire scroll emitted a faint glow, which then subsided, making it look like an ordinary scroll.
Mianma let out a soft breath and picked up the scroll to examine it carefully.
"Success. It can be activated simply by injecting chakra, instantly forming a powerful sealing barrier... However, it's still far inferior to the scientific ninja tools in Boruto that ordinary people can use." He muttered to himself.
"Ultimately, it requires chakra as a key to activate it. Those who cannot obtain chakra will find it useless." The sealing technology that Menma developed based on the scientific ninja tool—chakra capacitor—researched by Katasuke Tono in Boruto is still far from being a true 'scientific ninja tool'.
But it's enough for now.
“Tono Katasuke is still too young…” His gaze deepened as he looked out the laboratory window at the seemingly endless underground passage, his eyes seemingly piercing through layers of rock walls and reaching towards the distant Land of Fire.
After his chance encounter with Katsuke Tono, he had considered whether to try and win him over, but he never had the chance.
However, as the night of the massacre drew closer, Menma thought that perhaps he could take advantage of the night to kidnap the Hyuga branch family and the Uchiha clan, and also try to kidnap Tono Katasuke.
"I remember, besides Katasuke Tono, there was another scientist in the 'Kara Organization,' what was his name again? Amado?" Menma rubbed his chin with his right hand, frowning and thinking hard, trying to recall his memories from more than 20 years ago.
Thinking of the Shell Organization, one can't help but think of Jigen, the 'Wedge' of Isshiki Otsutsuki.
I haven't watched much of Boruto, and only sporadically. All I know is that it's the story of Naruto's son, Boruto, and the villains are a group called the "Kara Organization," whose leader, Jigen, is the "Karma" of Isshiki Otsutsuki.
A thousand years ago, Isshiki was ambushed by Kaguya, and even half of his body was fed to the Ten-Tails. When Isshiki was on the verge of death, Jigen happened to pass by. Isshiki shrunk his body and entered Jigen's body through his ear. He gradually took control of Jigen's brain and body by parasitizing him, transforming him into his 'Karma'.
However, Jigen was even more cunning than Black Zetsu. It was only after the Fourth Shinobi World War that he gradually began to establish the Kara organization. Or perhaps he had established an organization before, but he had not found a suitable Karma like Kawaki.
So much so that after Menma founded the Star Country, his various intelligence agencies spent years collecting information on the 'Kara Organization' and Jigen, but they found absolutely nothing.
"How did Jigen find Amado again? It seems Amado's daughter died of illness, and Jigen used resurrection to bewitch Amado?" Menma continued to dig into the depths of his memories.
He vaguely remembered that Amado's secret base seemed to be in—Amegakure.
If Amado is in Amegakure, then Jigen, who has long been eyeing Amado, is most likely also lurking in Amegakure.
Even the death of Amado's daughter could very well be the work of Cixian.
"Isshiki still has a second Ten-Tails in his hands, which might be the key to my breakthrough to the Six Paths level..." Menma recalled more memories about Boruto and Otsutsuki Isshiki.
"Tsk, it seems I need to find an opportunity to go to Amegakure." Menma's mind conjured up a map of the ninja world.
Amegakure, located in the heart of the ninja world, is truly a place of outstanding people and abundant resources.
Nagato and Konan from the Akatsuki organization, Black Zetsu and Obito, along with Amado and Jigen, who was even more cunning than Black Zetsu...
