Manor Lord of the Elf World

Chapter 45 Forest Hot Spring

Chapter 45 Forest Hot Spring
Raven had some impression of Bictini.

When the original owner was young, he often played hide-and-seek with Victini in the castle of the Earth Sword.

When they set off for their fiefdom, Bictini came to see them off.

Raven was quietly pondering the events in the Unova region.

To be honest, he was very panicked.

From the current perspective, this war in the Unova region is simply unavoidable.

He didn't want to entrust his life to others, nor did he want to watch the territory he had painstakingly built be destroyed by war.

But with their current strength, they are simply unable to intervene in this war...

Raven closed his eyes and slowly exhaled a breath of stale air.

"We still don't have enough people..."

If he has enough people in his territory, he can gradually develop a large army of trainers to protect it.

There is also Kyurem, the third god of the Unova region, who is the embodiment of the dragon's body.

If Raven remembers correctly, Kyurem is located in the Giant's Cave near Kagome Town.

If he could subdue Kyurem or gain his approval, then they would possess power comparable to Zekrom and Reshiram.

However, they are currently trapped in this place by a blizzard, and given his still weak strength, gaining Kyurem's approval is an impossible task.

"Regarding this matter, I'm afraid we'll have to proceed cautiously and gradually."

Raven gazed at the swirling snowflakes outside the window and murmured to himself.

Around the territory, the knights, led by Ryan, were divided into two groups to patrol the perimeter of the territory as usual, in order to protect its safety.

After several encounters with magical beasts over the past few days, Ryan's impression of these creatures has changed significantly.

Both Prince Raven and Anna are proving that monsters can coexist peacefully with humans.

More importantly, humans can also command monsters to fight.

It is common knowledge how powerful Warcraft is.

If such magical beasts could cooperate with humans and obey their commands...

A fanatical look appeared in Ryan's eyes.

He saw Anna many times directing the little monster named Zoroia to use its power.

How wonderful it would be if he could have such an obedient magical beast by his side!

Of course, not a harmless-looking monster like Zoroya.

What Ryan wants to conquer is a humanoid monster with muscles all over its body, four arms, and immense strength!
Ryan had seen such a magical beast when he was in the royal city.

Even a boulder as tall as three people could be easily lifted by that magical beast.

Ryan couldn't help but start daydreaming.

The scene depicts him fighting alongside that incredibly strong magical beast, achieving countless merits, and being personally rewarded by Prince Raven with numerous gifts, including the title of Honorary Knight.

The image of himself half-buried in gold and silver treasures made Ryan grin from ear to ear in reality.

Just then, a voice suddenly interrupted his reverie.

"Lord Ryan! I've discovered a strange place in the forest on the other side of the territory!" a young knight rushed over to report, his voice filled with excitement.

"What's going on?" Ryan asked.

The little knight excitedly replied, "It's a steaming hot spring!"

spa? !
How come there are hot springs in this place? After all, there are no volcanoes here.

Ryan was taken aback, but seeing the little knight's excited expression, he felt it didn't seem fake.

Seeing this, he decisively said, "Take me there to take a look!"

"Yes, Lord Ryan!"

The two left the territory and headed south. Ryan surveyed the surroundings and realized that they were in the opposite direction from where they had started their investigation. They passed through a forest and soon came to several steaming springs in a clearing.

The snow fell heavily, drifting down slowly, and as far as the eye could see, the entire forest was enveloped in a blanket of white snow.

However, there was no trace of snow around those springs, as if it had been evaporated by the heat.

Ryan stepped forward and examined it carefully. Sure enough, the moment he got close, he immediately felt a warm current rushing towards him.

I reached out and touched it; the water was warm.

It really is a hot spring!
Ryan's eyes widened; he had to report this to Prince Raven immediately!
But just then, the little knight beside him suddenly showed a look of horror.

He pointed to a hot spring and exclaimed in terror, "Sir! There's a monster!"

Ryan looked in the direction he was pointing and, sure enough, saw several magical beasts on the water.

A monster with a yellow body, a silly-looking appearance, and an appearance that resembles a combination of a duck and a kappa.

There are also tiny monsters with blue, spherical bodies and large, round ears.

They were soaking in the hot spring in twos and threes, looking quite content.

Several magical beasts noticed their arrival, but they only watched from a distance and did not leave the hot spring.

“Report this to Prince Raven immediately!” Ryan said.

Half an hour later.

Raven stared at Ryan in front of him, momentarily stunned.

"You mean there's a hot spring in this forest?"

That's impossible, isn't it? According to his observation, there are no volcanic formations nearby, so how could there be hot springs?

But Ryan said with absolute certainty, "That's right! We saw it with our own eyes, there were several magical beasts bathing in the water!"

Seeing this, Raven pondered for a moment, then said, "Take me to see."

"Yes!"

The group set off from their territory, and after passing through a forest, Raven indeed saw several steaming springs in a forest clearing.

Some wild Pokémon were gathered in twos and threes at this place, soaking in the hot springs.

Raven glanced at them and silently recited their names in his mind.

Psyduck, Marill, Swim Ring Weasel, Baby Duck, Exploding Speech Monkey...

Is there really a hot spring?

Raven was very surprised.

"Woo?"

The miniature dragon beside him seemed to be drawn to this scene.

The dwarf dragon leaped up and landed precisely in the hot spring with a splash, where it happily swam around.

"Woo!"

The wild Pokémon around seemed to be used to this scene.

There was even a rather daring weasel with a swim ring that slowly swam forward and approached the dwarf dragon, curiously observing it.

"Quagua?"

While Raven was still in a daze, two more Psyducks ran over and looked at him and Ryan with their silly, blank eyes.

“Your Highness Raven, these magical beasts don’t seem to intend to attack us…” Ryan couldn’t help but say.

The little knight standing nearby was also watching this scene with a look of amazement.

“Yes, these magical beasts are the kind that are relatively easy to get along with humans,” Raven nodded and said.

Are they more likely to get close to humans?
Upon hearing this, Ryan immediately perked up his ears.
