Chapter 64: The Mysterious Potion

Chapter 64: The Mysterious Potion

"Oh, are you alright, Sheen?"

Justin's voice rang out.

In fact, Sheen wasn't feeling too well; he seemed to have already foreseen what was about to happen.

He quietly changed his seat, and then heard a murmur:
"What does Seamus want, Ron?"

"He wanted to conjure wine out of a glass; he did manage to conjure weak tea a couple of days ago, but then..."

"later?"

Suddenly, a huge plume of scalding black smoke rose up, engulfing Simo entirely.

Broken glass shards and water droplets flew everywhere, and the surrounding young wizards screamed and scattered in fear.

Hermione was so frightened that she backed away repeatedly, her eyes wide open.

The smoke slowly dissipated, revealing Simo's appearance.

His face was completely blackened, as if he had just climbed out of a chimney, and his hair, which was originally blown out of shape, was still emitting wisps of smoke.

He coughed repeatedly from the choking, his eyes glazed over, clearly stunned by this sudden defeat.

A moment of silence fell over the long table, followed by a burst of laughter.

Ron laughed so hard he slammed his fist on the table, spilling pumpkin juice everywhere;

Harry couldn't help but chuckle and quickly lowered his head to hide his laughter.

Only Justin quickly stepped forward and offered a handkerchief:
"Are you alright, Seamus?"

Just then, as usual, owls swarmed into the hall to deliver messages, promptly diverting everyone's attention.

Only Hermione looked at Sheehan, who had managed to move in time, with a suspicious expression:
"You felt that magic?"

……

Ever since Professor Snape gave Sheehan that magical potion,
After Sheen emerged from the cellar, he would always have one or two potions respawning on him.
The annotation above is occasionally: drink;

Sometimes there's nothing at all.

However, if Sheen were to arrive in the cellar with a crystal bottle filled with potions, Professor Snape's taunts would be as relentless as a machine gun barrage.

The swelling agent progressed quickly, unlocking the feature in less than two days.

At the same time, Professor Snape also taught Sheehan how to prepare the anti-swelling potion.
The reason is:
"With your monstrous methods, you'll use it."

Regardless, Sheen has learned another potion.

The panel has also changed to:

【Title: Potions Newbie】

[Scabies Treatment: Apprentice Level (220/300)]

[Swelling Potion: Apprentice Level (1/300)]

[Swelling Reduction Potion: Not Unlocked (1/30)]

[Advanced: Three beginner-level potions can unlock a beginner-level title in the potion-making field]

Compared to the slow but steady progress of potions, the Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms classes are progressing much faster.

on Tuesday.

Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

"Now, can anyone tell me about the three types of trolls?"

Professor Quirrell stammered, his timid gaze sweeping over the group of Slytherins and Ravenclaws.

Until Anthony stood up:
“Mountain-dwelling giants, river-dwelling giants, and sea-dwelling giants.”

He replied,

"The mountain-dwelling giant is the largest in size, with a light gray body, a bald head, skin rougher than a rhinoceros, and a physique stronger than ten men."

However, their brains are only the size of a pea, so they are easily confused.

"Very good, thank you." Professor Quirrell said, symbolically calling on someone to answer a question.
Michael was flipping through Sheen's Defense Against the Dark Arts notes.

"Classification of Dark Magic Creatures—Regional Index, Alphabetical Index...corresponding Dark Magic Defense Charms, and Anti-Charm Series..."

He seemed to be holding a secret manual.
"Sheen, how did you come up with this?!"

He compared the two books, "Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Defense," while flipping through Sheen's light blue notebook.

I discovered that the section on spells was even more detailed than the book.

"I bet you didn't just refer to the Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook... Good heavens! It's just as amazing as that history of magic book!"

Sheen ignored it; his desk was scattered with books such as "Defense Against the Dark Arts: Basics" and "Defense Against the Dark Arts: An Introduction to Basic Knowledge."

Since Professor Quirrell had little teaching ability, Sheehan had to figure it out on his own, but he quickly grasped the framework of dark magic.

In fact, he had a problem in his previous life.
Black magic and spells are all based on the use of incantations and the waving of wands.
So why are they so clearly distinguishable?
Later, he consulted several books before finally finding the answer.

Spells and black magic are completely different. Black magic is further divided into three categories:

Jinx, Hex, Curse.

Curses: These have the least negative impact; they are annoying but fun. Examples include the Repulsion Curse, the Barrage Curse, and the Escape Curse.

Poisonous curses: of moderate negative impact, causing some degree of pain or harm. Examples include the Bat Demon Curse, the Knee-Turning Curse, and the Toenail-Growing Curse.

Curses: These have the most negative impact, causing intense and even irreversible pain or damage. Examples include the Cruciatus Curse, the Imperius Curse, and the Killing Curse.

Professor Flitwick taught a different kind of spell: Charm.

That makes sense, and it also means that dark magic talent and spell talent are not interchangeable.

After Defense Against the Dark Arts class,
Michael held Sheen's Defense Against the Dark Arts notes, while Terry and the others stared at him expectantly.

"Ahem—If you want to see it, you can—"

After Michael finished speaking, even Anthony raised an eyebrow.

"My foot!"

After saying that, Michael ran off, leaving behind angry little wizards chasing after him.

He muttered to himself:
"Oh, these are Sheen's gold coins. He doesn't really care about them, but I can't let them get damaged."
I have to help him spread the word, hehe, it looks like it's working really well..."

Then, he turned and patted Terry on the head.
“Terry, I’m really impressed with you. Didn’t I say that Sheen agreed to let me share with you and Anthony?”
You forgot as soon as you turned your back?!

……

noon,

Quidditch pitch.

After practicing the spell, Sheen skillfully mounted his broom.

Once off the ground, he was no longer the little wizard who had trouble running and jumping.

The old comet 260 leaped into the air like a silver fish, its pale cheeks flushed with color in the wind, its body pressed tightly against the broom, like a vine that had found something to cling to.

Dive, turn, lift off...

He strictly followed Mrs. Hooch's instructions.

……

Her frail body drew precise and elegant arcs in the air, causing Mrs. Huo Qi on the sidelines to smile.

She said to the tall witch who had just appeared beside her:

"Mr. Green is indeed a born Quidditch star, and everyone can see that."

Those brooms, those outdated, obsolete brooms, were more than enough for those clumsy fellows to practice flying.
Although the little guy is content, you can see that these things don't do him justice.

The tall witch gazed at the young wizard who had long been deprived of freedom, her eyes softening slightly.
