Chapter 505, Section 503: Dream Story: A Re-edited Edition

The last time Flourish and Blotts made such a big move was before Lockhart was arrested.

Harry leaned against the railing, peering out curiously.

In the crowds that kept heading towards the bookstore, he spotted a quiet, rebellious wizard.

"Sheen!"

Harry exclaimed in surprise.

The young wizard in the crowd looked up and saw Harry, Justin, and the others waving excitedly at him.

He walked through the crowd and arrived near the Florin Fosco ice cream shop.

"Good morning."

Sheen said.

"I've been waiting for you for so long!"

Hermione rolled her eyes at him.

"I apologize, it took me some time to find the external wisdom of the Bright Light Charm—its pronunciation and gestures..."

Sheen was interrupted by Justin before he could finish speaking.

"Oh, Sheen, let's talk about this another time."

Justin said with a bright smile.

"Yeah, please don't make me think I'm still in school—"

Ron agreed.

"We've bought all the books, right? Is there anything we forgot?"

Justin looked around and said.

"Of course, but what's with those 'Monster Books of Monsters'?"
When we told the clerk we wanted to buy two books, she almost burst into tears.

Ron pointed to a large bag under his chair.

"What are those things, Hermione?"

Harry pointed curiously to the three bulging bags on the chair next to her and asked.

"Oh, I chose more new courses than you guys, didn't I?"

Hermione said,
"Those were my textbooks: astronomy and divination, protecting magical creatures, divination, ancient runes, Muggle studies—"

"Why are you studying Muggle stuff?"

Ron said, rolling his eyes at Harry.

"You're Muggle-born. Your mom and dad are both Muggles—you know everything about Muggles!"

“If you have any questions about this, you can ask Sheehan and Justin; they both chose it.”

Hermione said irritably.

"Hmm... You can never have too much knowledge."

Sheen replied naturally.

Me too.

Justin said with a smile.

"Hmm, and it would be very interesting to study them from a wizard's perspective."

Hermione said with great interest.

Me too.

Justin chimed in.

"Okay, Justin, I think even if Sheen and the others choose divination, you'll go with them, right?"

Ron winked mischievously.
"Sheen, are you going to choose divination? Oh, you're going to choose... Great, me too!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Harry burst out laughing, and even Neville covered his mouth and trembled.

“Ron…you’re right, studying isn’t a very fun thing, but when you’re with friends, the fun naturally comes out.”

Justin wasn't annoyed at all; instead, he smiled and explained.
“My mother told me that with friends, even the roughest path is the best.”

Ron didn't say anything this time; he started to think seriously:
"That's right, me too!"

Amidst the commotion, Sheen watched silently from the sidelines, a slow smile creeping onto his lips.

A while later, while the crowds at Flourish and Blotts were still bustling, Harry looked at the huge stack of books and asked:
"Are you even planning to eat and sleep this year, Hermione?"

Ron grinned mischievously, but Hermione ignored them and turned to look at the crowded Flourish and Blotts bookstore, seemingly puzzled as to why there had been such a big change after ten o'clock.

"Shall we go in and take a look?" Hermione asked hesitantly, though she was asking everyone else, but she was looking directly at Sheehan.

"Let's go take a look."

Justin seemed very interested; for him, being with his friends meant he could have fun doing anything.

"Ah."

Sheehan silently wondered what Newt might have written in his books, then looked toward Flourish and Blotts, where the bells were ringing.

So the six little wizards naturally joined the crowd.

The crowd contained all sorts of wizards, all excitedly conversing with each other.

As they walked, they noticed a huge banner every ten meters leading to Flourish and Blotts, with all sorts of exciting slogans on it.

[A beautiful dream or a nightmare? Do fairies exist in a wizard's dreams?]

Gods or magic? The things you miss while you sleep!

If you don't yet know the Lord of Dreams who holds the key to good fortune, you're about to experience a terrible run of luck!

"Wow!"

Sheen heard Ron look at the banner and exclaim softly.

He observed silently, and the closer he got to the bookstore entrance, the more banners appeared.

Upon reaching the main gate, however, the usual practice was broken, and only a huge banner was displayed:

[Thank you to the wizard who purchased the first copy of "Dreams and Gods": Mr. Dumbledore]

"Headmaster Dumbledore—"

Sheehan heard Hermione exclaim in surprise.

He stared at the four large characters "Dumbledore," thinking that Headmaster Dumbledore seemed more relaxed than he had imagined.

As for Flourish and Blotts, all that's missing is a sign saying "Dumbledore was here."

"I want to go buy it—"

Hermione pushed her way forward.

Upon seeing this, Sheen thought that this might be the effect of celebrity endorsement.

Soon, Hermione's voice and figure were drowned out by the enthusiastic wizards.

"Give me two!"

"I want ten copies!"

"A collector's edition, sir! I want the collector's edition!"

A weary-looking wizard stood at the door, blocking the throng of wizards who were pushing and shoving, and said:

"Ladies and gentlemen, quiet...do not crowd...be careful of the books..."

Sheen followed the crowd, the winding line stretching from the entrance all the way to the back of the bookstore. As he picked up a copy of "Dreams and Gods" to read, he unexpectedly spotted a familiar figure from behind.

"My God, it's Mr. Newt Scamander—"

It was Hermione speaking.

Sheen looked up and saw Hufflepuff, the old senior, shyly signing books and giving each wizard who came to buy one a sincere smile.

Three cats perched on his shoulder, all lounging lazily in the sunlight, their fur edged with gold.

A tall witch in a purple coat was holding a large black camera and walking around him taking pictures.

Each time the flash went off, a plume of purple smoke shot out of the camera.

Sheehan suddenly realized that he had underestimated the importance that Hufflepuff had placed on this book.

He gradually became curious: how did a knowledgeable and magically advanced wizard view the boundary and the dream world?

Sheen knew, of course, that the Lucky Black Cat theory was nonsense, well, he knew it more clearly than anyone else.

However, the border area is a real place, and it is a magical domain that very few people have explored.

Sheen's understanding of it largely comes from "Dream Stories," and now, perhaps he can add the books of his senior Hufflepuff.

He looked intently at the book in his hands.

At the very center of the book cover is a black cat, perched atop a cloud of mist, gazing mischievously at the wizard outside the book.

Hermione and Justin had seen this black cat before.

They were all looking at the young wizard who was reading intently, their eyes filled with an obvious bewilderment.
